That was our quietest NYE we have ever had. Don’t remember the last time we woke up on Jan 1 sober before that 🤷♂️
Did I miss it can you give the name of the resort that you left or RV park that you left? The reason I’m asking is we are planning a trip for next year and I don’t want to get that one!
Hi Charity. We purposely didn't name the park. Mainly because, honestly, they did nothing wrong. The park was as advertised. We had no trouble there and all the hookups worked fine. It just had a creepy feeling to us......enough for us to leave on NYE. We didn't want to bad mouth and potentially destroy somebody's business and life's work because WE had a 'funny feeling' about it.

Trail Less Traveled love it! We were originally going to get the imagine 2670MK as it has a desk, but then decided on the 31mb 5th wheel. I think I would have had payload issues if we did that with our F250 SRW, so here we are now. The back bunk is converted into an office 👍

What camera are you using? Do you have a gimbal?
Hinton the Trail thank you again! We use the Sony A6600 and GoPro 7. We have the Zhiyun smooth 4 gimbal, but we have not yet used it as it takes longer than I’d like to attach the GoPro to it. I should really.....I’m just lazy 😳. However, we have spent many many many many hours testing the best project, export and conversion settings in Davinci resolve to ensure the best quality and smallest file size we can. Upload size is important as we can’t always guarantee great internet speeds.
@@BrazenBrits We had a Gimbal for our Hero 5 and it was a pain so we never used it. We have an 8 now and it's already so much more stable. It'll be a few months before we get to the videos using that so until then I'm working to improve stabilization in Premiere Pro.

Spending the holidays in Florida is going to be expensive! If you can handle the heat, you should come back in early June, after snowbird season is over. It was great meeting you on Papa Drew's channel. I hope you enjoyed your time here in the Ft. Myers area 😃...

We actually tried to get into your park, but you were full. We shed a tear as we drove past as it looks like a really nice place.
My sister, Beverley, used to full time at the one you tried to get in to. Formerly Shady Acres. She agreed with Chad.. 😂 If you're ever in the general area, her husband, Pat, is in a great band that plays many parks around there!

Yes. Weekly rates you get a small discount but monthly you tend to get a larger discount.

@@BrazenBrits i looked into Pine Island for a month stay and it said it averaged 85 dollars a night which would cost 2550.00 for 30 days, so i thought that was high for doing it on a monthly stay?
That does seem a lot. Normally monthly rates are a lot better than nightly or weekly. However, I would guess the season would also change the price.
It is probably worth calling them up and seeing if they can do any special rates over the phone. When we tried to book the website said no space, but we called them direct and they were very helpful.
Which was the creepy park you stayed at? We're looking for somewhere for next year in Fort Myers. ...... nevermind, I know which one it is and trust me, you're absolutely right!

We purposely didn’t mention the name because honestly, they did nothing wrong and a gut feeling isn’t fair for us to damage a business reputation when they are not at fault at all. It was a fine park, just not for us.

Did you ever identify the creepy RV park at Ft. Myers?
We didn’t. Mainly because there was nothing wrong with it and we have no reason to publicly badmouth their business. We just didn’t feel comfortable there. The people were nice (especially the caretaker) and what facilities they had worked without any problems. It just wasn’t for us. We followed our gut feeling at the time and headed out as soon as we could.
