Thank you for the tip!... I'm guilty of overworking it may times... and after getting frustrated because the won't commit, I try dead sticking it... but still no cigar... Will definitely try your approach next time! ; )
It’s alll about that drop shot it’s it!? I have tried a few times to get one but I guess it’s time to rig it double! And good to know my suspicions about light non rod tip movement is key. Good video, thank you!
I am getting a lot of messages about where to get REDOLENCE scent. The only place is GBAY TACKLE CO in Midland, Ontario. They are currently SOLD OUT though I believe.
So I get how you could do that ice fishing, but how do I get that subtle motion on a boat when the Simcoe waves are rocking my boat 10-20cm up and down?
That's why it's called a slack line bite. Feels like someone cut your jig off. You won't feel anything. It's the absence of feeling the jig when you set.
@@ihtus50 If they hit the high hook you will feel the bite. Its when they lift the bottom bait up (Suck it up) you feel a slack in your line and you set into that slack.
I tyie a bunch of knots towards the front of the eye, cut both tags off and glueing them, my knot cant slide forward no more, it aint getting me 15 whitefish but it helps i guess
That will save you time from pushing the line back. It also saves you from having to bring the jig up if you miss a fish. The jigging pattern is what will put the fish on the ice. If you're already timing and gluing, that's excellent. Master thst wiggle and the whitefish won't stand a chance.
@Dean Azarnush we didn't jig this slow either. It wasn't until we started watching fish reactions and bites with our Marcum underwater cameras that we realized they preffered less movement. Underwater cameras have taught us so much!

Got my first 2 white fish on the meeg using your technique. Thank you so much!!
That's awesome! Congrats!
Everyone shows above the ice jigging and dropping, but they don't explain the wiggle. I guarantee people who watch this will instantly hook more fish!
You know what they say 😂never tell them everything
@@dylanmounsey7515 lol heck with it. Just give it to them! 🤣

So I get how you could do that ice fishing, but how do I get that subtle motion on a boat when the Simcoe waves are rocking my boat 10-20cm up and down?
It is very difficult. I often use soft plastics like a Stealth Invader in the boat.
Cool video and tank visual
if you barely move the tip.. how would you feel the bite?
That's why it's called a slack line bite. Feels like someone cut your jig off. You won't feel anything. It's the absence of feeling the jig when you set.
But you are exactly right. If done properly you will not feel the bite. Feel for that slack.
@@FoxFishing4K so need to look for slack on your next micro move of the tail?

Unbelievable! Going tmr will let u know how i do! Is the same applying for the goby soft baits as well?
Yes!!

Awesome videos should clear alot up
Thanks buddy! I'm sure it will. This also give me a video I can refer people too rather then explaining over and over 😉
Same with Cisco?
No Cisco suspend higher in the water column. I use small jigs and buck shots for herring.
Merci 🎉

Your welcome Brian! Thanks for the positive comment 🙏
you are saying the camera spooks the fish ?
Oh yah 100%. They hate it. I can smack fish steady and then drop the camera and mark 10 fish and maybe hit 1 of them.
@@FoxFishing4K Ok thanks for the heads-up.......happy fishing ...
I would have enjoyed the “here is the technique you do” and then unexpectedly gets a fish on in his tank and a fight ensues
