Yeah but problem is sigma versions only cuz look at the news of ninja gaiden news online no blood this time and the creators can’t bring the lost data from the Xbox versions unless they have to do it again from scratch and recreate the game all the way to the last detail but fix the frame rate and for the 3 ninja gaiden fix all the problems a I mean fix all the bugs every single one of them from start to finish and if ninja gaiden 4 is in production make like ninja gaiden 2 style no sigma version and make the setting sometime after the nes of the 3rd game.

If you shoot the boss golden dragons on the tip of their tail with the bow it takes over 90% of their health. It was a neat discovery I found out years ago.
Never ever mess with the dragon ninja and his friends cuz if you do hurt them he will hunt you to the ends of earth or somewhere based on where he is and end you, a fate worse than death.

I am happy that Nioh did so well and they said 100 persent ninja gaiden will be back, to bad in this day and age companys want money, but good news since thats more the case now ninja gaiden 4 for sure will have gameplay of 2, since they know its the best one! i hope we fight a new ninja clan in 4, have some spider ones two and for the other games later have it set during the nes games since its in the future!

+Paul Donovan Thanks, Glad you enjoy my videos! As for Nioh, after seeing the videos of it, I have no interest in playing it, since it looks like it just plays very slow like Onimusha. Which I thought was particularly strange, since Itagaki created Ninja Gaiden because he wanted to do something better and faster than Onimuhsa, and now the new Team Ninja decided to make something just like it (combat wise).
Well what you saw of the game is in alpha form so it can be faster for when it comes out, hopefully. As for ninja gaiden 4 you think its still being made? i hope so though because how dispointing the 3rd one was. Thanks for replying!
I hope NG4 is going to be a thing. When they announced Nioh, I feared that, THAT was what they were working on, instead of NG4, but hopefuly not. Its funny actually, I played a little of the original NG3 yesterday, and after playing so much Razors Edge, I had genuinely forgotten how HORRIBLE the Vanilla NG3 was. By comparison, Razors Edge is actually pretty good. Still not as enjoyable as NG2 (360) but still, for me, enjoyable!
yeah, anyway Nioh looks fun so you should play it till Ninja Gaiden 4 comes. I hope we see something for NG4 and maybe will see something at e3. keep up the good work!
hey dangavster when you play ninja gaiden 3 or razor edge when you wall climb use the bow then the shuriken it really a fast way to get up the wall fast but you got to do the bow then shuriken fast but cool video man keep up the good work

That´s why I enjoyed your NG2 playthrough more than most of the other content provided on your channel. With that being something to consider, would you mind doing a playthrough of a game that evokes similar emotions inside of you? I think it´s save to say that there is a few other games in the grant selection thereof which have resonated with you on par with the masterpice that is NG2. dangavsterGAMES Thanks for replying to my comment, dan! One short question/request - could you give me a short little review on NGS2 plus for the vita? I really love NG2 and NGS2, they both belong to my favorite games of all time list(please don´t take my head off with the windmill shuriken because I like NGS2 :D). Therefore having a portable version of the masterpiece that is the second instalment of NG would be a notion I´m very fond of. I heard that the gore is back, which is a good thing, but I also was informed that the Framerate is not as smooth as we´re used to as NG fans. The question is, how bad is it?
NGS2+ Isn't TOO bad for what it is, but the frame-rates are very unstable and downright juddery at times. In terms of the changes, The gore is back somewhat, although it feels tacked back on, rather than integrated properly like NG2 had it. And the Tag Missions are just stupid, they should have just been solo missions, or actually online. Overall its a very Rushed port of NGS2, but its not completely awful. Once you get over the juddery frame-rate, you can get somewhat into it. It seems they just did a really bad job with optimization, since DOA5+ was quite smooth, although somewhat lacking in shaders and other graphical fidelity(of course thats to be expected). I think if you can get it for a good price, you wont be disappointed, no matter how you look at it, its a portable NGS2/NG2 and its the only one we're gona get. Until we get Xbox 360 emulators and portable devices powerful enough to run them.
First time seeing your videos, I found it by mistake and you know what? I love them, good job. I just wanna ask you, how do you get so much yellow essence? Because of the combo you pull off or just because you have good weapons that gives much damage?
Idk if this would still be relevant but it’s Probably a combination of high combos, UTs and picking up the orbs by hand. A fully charged UT gives you 7x essence compared to a regular kill but when you absord orbs they only gives you 30% of the value
Ok do it again but get all ten ninpo slots and there’s is a few videos that can teach you how todo combos to all your weapons in ninja gaiden 2 trust me you will need them.

Mr Dan I love your ng videos and have watched them all multiple times. If I had to criticize anything it's your weapon pronouncing, it's "tawn-fa" not "tone-fa" and "koo-saree-gawma" not gamma. Love your videos and look forward to watching you play ng4 if it ever gets made.
Yeah I've played Bayonetta, unfortunately I feel the same way towards it as I do with DMC. Although the movement is fast, I find the flow of the battle, slow and clunky. However I will say the music is FANTASTIC, It does have an Amazing soundtrack.

Hey dude, super dig your NG videos. I just beat Razor's Edge and I'm pretty hooked now on the NG series. I want Ninja Gaiden 2 but cant afford a 360, I just wanted to ask if Sigma 2 is worth getting even with the reduced enemy counts and crap like that.
JakkedDog Yeah pretty much, even though it isnt much slower, it just feels different after playing the 360 version, if you can ever try the 360 version afterwards, even if its just trying the NGII demo on a friends 360, I'd definitely recommend it!

+Rukumouru Hakure I haven't played Razors edge on 360 much, but im sure they are pretty much identical. Although im not sure if the 360 version can go up to 1080p. Let me know if it can.
dangavsterGAMES What about the other question? (Whether it's worth it to get Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden Black if you already have Sigma and Sigma 2) In my experience, there is no Razor's Edge version that can go 1080p (Sigma 2 couldn't either on PS3, in fact 720p looks better than 1080p on that game because the Quincunx antialiasing it uses on 1080p blurs the shit out of everything, even the menus). What I have seen (from the 360 demo, the PS3 demo and the full game on Wii U) is that: - The main resolution across all platforms is 720p - When the action is intense, resolution may drop a little bit - When the action is less intense, Antialiasing is added on top of the 720p - When shit goes crazy, the Wii U maintains its v-sync so the screen doesn't tear, but it drops frames like mad. The PS3 version is a compromise: Keeps v-sync up most of the time, and the performance will suffer a bit, but if the performance goes too low, it will disable v-sync to keep a framerate advantage. The 360 version will prioritize high framerate at all costs, at least in the demo. It screen tears the most, but still nowhere near as much as NG3 vanilla or even Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Framerate is rock-solid 60 in the demo. The problem being that this is what I have seen from the demo, and I have no idea if it applies to the full game. From the demo, it would seem like the 360 is the version to get due to the framerate.
Rukumouru Hakure Hmm, well i'd definately recommend grabbing NG2 on the 360, since its far superior to NGS2. As for NG black, there are some differences that change the way it plays, I'd say if you can grab it for a bargin, its worth it.
+Rukumouru Hakure Can't remember if Sigma has the extra 50 missions... if it does not, then definitely get Black. If you got xbox gold, and NGO still has it's hurricane pack, I'd get that as well, to play with Intercept. I never got the chance myself =( but I heard it's just the most overpowered thing in the NG games.
How come noone does a Mentor play through cause I'm on mentor as it is but I'm struggling to get passed a serton part thats taking up to much time and energy, but I need to do it in order to unlock the Master difficulty
Yeah chapter 11 is probably the most insane in the game. It's swarming with dudes and incendiary shurikens. You need to seriously get down utilizing i-frames by ch 11, I'd recommend using the guillotine throw, OTs and UTs alot. Also abuse the shit out of the falcon talon's flying swallow>izuna drop move.
+Xevnest24 thanks for the heads up I'm now on chapter 14 near the end just 3 more bosses to go then Victory, I've died plenty of times reaching this far. Now how am I supposed to beat the last boss
The VERY last boss? Like the archfiend? Or the one that chases you up the winding path? For the one that chases you up the volcano all you gotta do is keep hitting him with charged arrows in the face and the glowing orb in his stomach then dodge when he attacks, like Dan did in this video, its the same shit on every difficulty. As for the actual archfiend himself, equip the dual swords, get near him and keep doing the X-Y-X-X-X-Y combo, and when he tries to attack you with his hand or the giant beam, use the Rise TO Heaven (360+Y) for some invincibility to escape it. Use any Life of the (thousand) gods if you still have them if you mess up.
I just bought and finished the game on Acolyte after chapter 14, went to the new game and it told me I could start from chapter 1 with all the weapons and ninpos and stuff BUT it would all be reduced to level one, is there a way to start a game again with all the weapons and ninpo with the levels they were in the previous playthrough ? thanks, great channel btw, I only recently discovered it, subbed.
No way that i'm aware of, my advice if you want your favorite weapons level 3 at the start, is to farm yellow essence on chapter 1. Check out my Ninja Gaiden 2 CH1 - Master Ninja video to see how I farmed the Dragon sword to level 3 on Chapter 1. It takes around 15 mins or so, but its worth it if you want level 3 weapons early on.
Thanks but I just recently figured out how to begin a new game with all your weapons and ninpos at max level, so basically after beating all the chapters( the whole game basically) instead of going to the new game and beginning from the same difficulty but it lowers all your levels, GO FOR LOAD GAME, it will say ALL CHAPTERS COMPLETED once you select that it will tell you that you can have all your weapons at their current level and ninpos at their current level as well as your essence from the last playthrough but you will not be able to post your score on leaderboards(which I could care less for), try it man, it's really cool.

man Ninja Gaiden 2 is so much better than Sigma 2, shame playstation fans couldn't get on all the dismemberment action and gore here, it is the very pinnacle of this series, that and the stairwell fight in chapter 10, man that stairwell fight.

2:49 : You are mention the things i dont like in ninga gaiden 2. The enemies die too fast, or lose a limb too fast, so you almost never do combos, because for the time you wanna finish one combo, the enemy is already dead, or has lose a limb, so you have to obliterate him, or you have one hundred explosive kunais in your butt. XD But, in ninja gaiden black, o Ninja gaiden Razors Edge, the combos are usefull and one nemy can represent a danger. And to me, beating strong enemies make me feel more badass than eliminate soft enemies with low life like the ones in NG 2. Well, thats the opinion of a fan like myself of this saga. I hope Ninja Gaiden 4 looks more like Ninja Gaiden Black.
Helí Suárez I know u said this a really long time ago but all I gotta say is when u get further in the game the enemies are not easy to fight. They are only “soft” the first 3 levels

"Wet" or "Killer is Dead" (considering that you're a fan of Hack and Slash games). Also, I find that I hate the Kusarigama, due to it's lack of defense.
Its been so long since I played sigma 2, and even longer since I played warrior mode. But if we're just talking about difficulty, from what i can remember, its quite similar, just a lot of changes on WHAT enemies you fight at what parts. And the number of enemies has been changed quite a bit. I'd probably say its slightly easier than the 360 version on Warrior Mode, at least to me it was.
How do you do to start a game with all the weapons to the maximun level? And please, put the game in Japanese. Much much better the voice acting in the combat.
I have a proper "love, hate" relationship with this game. It's so satisfying yet so cheap at times. Haha. Plus, they've finally made it backwards compatible for Xbox one.. so my rage has resurfaced. 😂😁

I really love NG2 and NGS2, they both belong to my favorite games of all time list(please don´t take my head off with the windmill shuriken because I like NGS2 :D). Therefore having a portable version of the masterpiece that is the second instalment of NG would be a notion I´m very fond of. I heard that the gore is back, which is a good thing, but I also was informed that the Framerate is not as smooth as we´re used to as NG fans. The question is, how bad is it?
NGS2+ Isn't TOO bad for what it is, but the frame-rates are very unstable and downright juddery at times.
In terms of the changes, The gore is back somewhat, although it feels tacked back on, rather than integrated properly like NG2 had it. And the Tag Missions are just stupid, they should have just been solo missions, or actually online.
Overall its a very Rushed port of NGS2, but its not completely awful. Once you get over the juddery frame-rate, you can get somewhat into it. It seems they just did a really bad job with optimization, since DOA5+ was quite smooth, although somewhat lacking in shaders and other graphical fidelity(of course thats to be expected).
I think if you can get it for a good price, you wont be disappointed, no matter how you look at it, its a portable NGS2/NG2 and its the only one we're gona get. Until we get Xbox 360 emulators and portable devices powerful enough to run them.
First time seeing your videos, I found it by mistake and you know what? I love them, good job. I just wanna ask you, how do you get so much yellow essence? Because of the combo you pull off or just because you have good weapons that gives much damage?
Idk if this would still be relevant but it’s Probably a combination of high combos, UTs and picking up the orbs by hand. A fully charged UT gives you 7x essence compared to a regular kill but when you absord orbs they only gives you 30% of the value

Yeah I've played Bayonetta, unfortunately I feel the same way towards it as I do with DMC. Although the movement is fast, I find the flow of the battle, slow and clunky.
However I will say the music is FANTASTIC, It does have an Amazing soundtrack.

Hey dude, super dig your NG videos. I just beat Razor's Edge and I'm pretty hooked now on the NG series. I want Ninja Gaiden 2 but cant afford a 360, I just wanted to ask if Sigma 2 is worth getting even with the reduced enemy counts and crap like that.
Yeah sure, if you can't get your hands on the 360 version, I'd definitely recommend trying out Sigma 2, but it's quite a different experience.

JakkedDog Yeah pretty much, even though it isnt much slower, it just feels different after playing the 360 version, if you can ever try the 360 version afterwards, even if its just trying the NGII demo on a friends 360, I'd definitely recommend it!

dangavsterGAMES What about the other question? (Whether it's worth it to get Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden Black if you already have Sigma and Sigma 2)
In my experience, there is no Razor's Edge version that can go 1080p (Sigma 2 couldn't either on PS3, in fact 720p looks better than 1080p on that game because the Quincunx antialiasing it uses on 1080p blurs the shit out of everything, even the menus).
What I have seen (from the 360 demo, the PS3 demo and the full game on Wii U) is that:
- The main resolution across all platforms is 720p
- When the action is intense, resolution may drop a little bit
- When the action is less intense, Antialiasing is added on top of the 720p
- When shit goes crazy, the Wii U maintains its v-sync so the screen doesn't tear, but it drops frames like mad. The PS3 version is a compromise: Keeps v-sync up most of the time, and the performance will suffer a bit, but if the performance goes too low, it will disable v-sync to keep a framerate advantage. The 360 version will prioritize high framerate at all costs, at least in the demo. It screen tears the most, but still nowhere near as much as NG3 vanilla or even Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Framerate is rock-solid 60 in the demo.
The problem being that this is what I have seen from the demo, and I have no idea if it applies to the full game. From the demo, it would seem like the 360 is the version to get due to the framerate.

Hmm, well i'd definately recommend grabbing NG2 on the 360, since its far superior to NGS2. As for NG black, there are some differences that change the way it plays, I'd say if you can grab it for a bargin, its worth it.
+Rukumouru Hakure Can't remember if Sigma has the extra 50 missions... if it does not, then definitely get Black. If you got xbox gold, and NGO still has it's hurricane pack, I'd get that as well, to play with Intercept. I never got the chance myself =( but I heard it's just the most overpowered thing in the NG games.

Yeah chapter 11 is probably the most insane in the game. It's swarming with dudes and incendiary shurikens. You need to seriously get down utilizing i-frames by ch 11, I'd recommend using the guillotine throw, OTs and UTs alot. Also abuse the shit out of the falcon talon's flying swallow>izuna drop move.

The VERY last boss? Like the archfiend? Or the one that chases you up the winding path?
For the one that chases you up the volcano all you gotta do is keep hitting him with charged arrows in the face and the glowing orb in his stomach then dodge when he attacks, like Dan did in this video, its the same shit on every difficulty.
As for the actual archfiend himself, equip the dual swords, get near him and keep doing the X-Y-X-X-X-Y combo, and when he tries to attack you with his hand or the giant beam, use the Rise TO Heaven (360+Y) for some invincibility to escape it. Use any Life of the (thousand) gods if you still have them if you mess up.

I just bought and finished the game on Acolyte after chapter 14, went to the new game and it told me I could start from chapter 1 with all the weapons and ninpos and stuff BUT it would all be reduced to level one, is there a way to start a game again with all the weapons and ninpo with the levels they were in the previous playthrough ? thanks, great channel btw, I only recently discovered it, subbed.
No way that i'm aware of, my advice if you want your favorite weapons level 3 at the start, is to farm yellow essence on chapter 1. Check out my Ninja Gaiden 2 CH1 - Master Ninja video to see how I farmed the Dragon sword to level 3 on Chapter 1. It takes around 15 mins or so, but its worth it if you want level 3 weapons early on.
Thanks but I just recently figured out how to begin a new game with all your weapons and ninpos at max level, so basically after beating all the chapters( the whole game basically) instead of going to the new game and beginning from the same difficulty but it lowers all your levels, GO FOR LOAD GAME, it will say ALL CHAPTERS COMPLETED once you select that it will tell you that you can have all your weapons at their current level and ninpos at their current level as well as your essence from the last playthrough but you will not be able to post your score on leaderboards(which I could care less for), try it man, it's really cool.

Skip Vanilla 3, go straight for Razors Edge, its the proper version of NG3 and you'll have a much better time with it.
man Ninja Gaiden 2 is so much better than Sigma 2, shame playstation fans couldn't get on all the dismemberment action and gore here, it is the very pinnacle of this series, that and the stairwell fight in chapter 10, man that stairwell fight.

The enemies die too fast, or lose a limb too fast, so you almost never do combos, because for the time you wanna finish one combo, the enemy is already dead, or has lose a limb, so you have to obliterate him, or you have one hundred explosive kunais in your butt. XD
But, in ninja gaiden black, o Ninja gaiden Razors Edge, the combos are usefull and one nemy can represent a danger. And to me, beating strong enemies make me feel more badass than eliminate soft enemies with low life like the ones in NG 2.

How does Warrior on 360 compare to Warrior on Sigma difficulty wise?
Its been so long since I played sigma 2, and even longer since I played warrior mode.
But if we're just talking about difficulty, from what i can remember, its quite similar, just a lot of changes on WHAT enemies you fight at what parts.
And the number of enemies has been changed quite a bit. I'd probably say its slightly easier than the 360 version on Warrior Mode, at least to me it was.

Rpg with ninja gaiden gameplay.......Pc game called vindictus can be played with wired xbox controller.....its incredible man I highly recomend it
