Rupture can now 4 turn this fight really easily if you give Deyvat Rodya 2 slots. Can’t believe Rupture’s reputation went from the worst status to best status in a week.
I think most people aren't calling rupture bad, because since longest time all turns records belonged to rupture, but most people view it as too inconsistent (how many retries you needed btw)
I needed 2 retries (The first was the first time I fought this boss and lost, the second was because of bad clashes) I could’ve optimized this significantly but I wanted to showcase how a Rupture team naturally does Edit: Yes I am using a rupture team as my main team for this canto
overall ring is the strongest (keyword: strongest, not best, that's wildhunt at max Coffin) id in the game and extremely cracked for rupture, esp with talisman sinclair and it's mostly due to sanguine pointillism and the fact that he doesn't need a lot of ramp up to do crazy damage (basically the only thing you need is rambling man and the only thing you would want on top is talisman or in this case focused attack meursault also works) but yeag w sang is good and in the end you pick what's more fun or what you even have at the moment
devyat rodion sitting around until you hit the conditional is kind of funny. also, faust s2 is probably one of the few skills that you actively want to lose coins on.
When a unit reaches a certain amount of rupture count and potency, the skill does not apply rupture on skill effects and, at the same time, does not reduce count and potency
man i wish i had some crates to get lantern don while in walpurgis night, i was planning on making a rupture team. Who knows how many months till the next one
next walpurris should be in around 2-2.5 ish months as it was a bit over a month ago, so it'll probably hit after the first event of this season if nothing gets delayed
So many people owe Rupture an apology cause Rupture is INSANE especially Duvyat Rody! Everyone said she was mid cause there wasent enough Rupture support!
You definitely still need his support passive. With the new Rupture ids all you need is getting to 3 count, then you just spam gluttony res every turn until you get to 99 potency. There is a very good video that uses base Ryoshu, because of her gluttony guard skill, to kill this boss in 4 turns. Now for Rupture, at least in single target battles, its more important doing nothing and creating a gluttony res chain, than wasting count on skills that will do 20~40 damage at best.
OI WHERES MY GOAT 7 ASSOCIATION HEATHCLIFF? Guess that extra slot for yi sang was really important Still, even though im a rupture main, i dont use this much brain power, but if i did, im sure I'd do much better
7 heathcliff has very little gluttony, so triggering talisman support passive is less consistent. Also when i did this fight i had 2 slots for Rodion and Don and did better
@@Tyenty9I You shouldn’t be focusing on playing archetypes until you reach like Canto 6 or 7. But even then, a team of strong units will still suffice.
Very much so, tested him personally. Excellent generalist unit, excellent poise composure even with 1 action per turn. Glad to see he's a nice fit in rupture, too.
Genuinely good payoff for Rupture alongside Deyvat Rodya. We now just need someone to help make things less clunky, Gregor in a best case scenario Considering the Fanghunt enemies were rupture as well though there's high hopes
Molar Ishmael with no support (aside from the Must bring Don level 1 dying around turn 1 or 2) can solo this boss easily (f you unbreakable coin, we have unbreakable dodge)
It maybe needs diminishing returns, with exchanging raw true damage for inflicting debuffs. Or maybe instead of rupture dealing true damage, make it convert a % of the hit consuming rupture into true damage. So at 10 rupture potency, 10% of the damage being dealt ignores resistances below 1 and any %DR that is not 10 Protection (as that is necessary for some boss gimmicks, we don't want to break those).
7 Heath is great for backline talismans, but that requires you to keep some other units underleveled so they don't go above Heath hps. The ideal first turn (sault s2, don s1, heath s3, glut. guard all others) leaves you with 50ish potency and 3 count. Which is... a fair amount, for a turn 1.
There are only a few truly difficult battles in the game, so I see the point in going through the story and events only with thematic teams, if the story is about w corp, then w corp identities, if about vampires, then bleeds. And rapchur, as for me, is the weakest status in the game, in this status there are only 2-3 strong identities, everything else is terrible, it’s impossible to maintain the status, it’s more boring to play with it than with charge.
Both rodya and meursault have conditionals that make them not consume rupture count on hit. For rodya im not sure what the numbers are, but for meursault it's when the enemy has at least 15 potency and 3 count.

i am playing full W corp on it so definitely
100%, Charge also has lots of Gloom which most enemies here are weak against.
