One thing that I always keep in mind is that your ult refreshes your spells. so make sure to have a mango ready so you can double nuke someone. its ridiculous dmg at lvl 7, nuke for 640 and then right clicks. also you can blink in with silence, then ult and silence again. This is extremely strong vs heroes like zeus and qop who dont get bkb or manta early.
I really like your videos. I super love it when you include a bit of gameplay as a showcase as well!! There is such a lack of that kind of educational commentary in Dota.
I like orchid a lot, has lots of stats that NS likes and allows you to keep on top of heroes that have an escape ability (Zeus, Morph, Jug…) it’s definitely not an every game item but a good alternative to the echo Sabre for your first item…
The talents you avoid are the talents for a build with early aghanim, which is not very viable currently, I would like buffs in NS for this build. This way of playing NS currently doesn't please me
One of the biggest reasons echo is good right now is because it can be upgraded later to basically be a force staff counter. Someone tries to force out of your aoe silence and you can just pull them right back in. Also, echo is just a really good early item for all the little stuff it provides you.
as a night stalker player, i think docwel's build is generally ok. However if you're ahead in the early game, i personally love midas because you can farm xp and gold very well when ulti is on cd. I usually skip echo sabre and phylactery and go straight for blink and shard, then bkb. From midgame onwards it'll be Octarine Core and other disabling items, and from then i will just pop ulti whenever its available -> Keep the pressure up. Octarine is my favorite item on NS because of the lvl 20 silence cooldown talent -> Big counter for PL, puck, skill-reliant heroes,... And octarine reduces midas cd too
@truonggiangnguyen4660 Midas is definitely an option I just think for the most part it’s very greedy and you’re not able to take as much advantage of your early aggression by focusing on the farming items. But of course your build with skipping all those smaller items straight into blink will help that. But then I’d say you gotta be carful because Midas blink gives you 0 stats so you could run into situations where you’re too squishy for being a melee offlaner that likes to initiate and just run at the enemy.
I dont agree with you, i think phylactery is a bad item on NS, i rather go blade mail into blink than phylactery. I tried that build, it doesnt work as well as you think. You are just yappin.
i feel all these items delay your bkb way too much -probably a 30 minute bkb. NS is most impactful mid game with bkb and blink.
Sometimes bkb isn't as important because of the silence. If you're jumping the target that's going to stun you then BKB is less important.

i miss the old NS ultimate where its basically permanent night time with octarine aghs

I always have a hard time buting echo saber. I feel it has really not that much value for the cost, and delay important item (shard, blink, bkb).
it's more useful at day when you have downtime on your attack speed and also builds into harpoon to keep people in your aoe silence
