    I'm a TN Vols fan and you guys are experiencing what we've been going through for the past 15 seasons. We've had 2-3 decent seasons but always got our ass kicked when it mattered. Hang in there and support the institution and the kids. Frost is on his way out and hopefully you'll make an awesome hire at HC.

    I subscribed. I am a Wisconsin fan, born and raised but living in Austin Texas now. Yesterday was weird. First the Longhorns come deadly close to beating Alabama but fail to pull it out, and then my Badgers lose in a stinker to Washington State. Chaos reigned in CFB yesterday, for whatever light comfort that provides Nebraska fans. Football is a cruel mistress but all things are temporary - I hope you all don't let the losses effect you in your daily lives too much, and know there will be better days ahead.
    I hope you absolutely devastated that bathroom after this video. Your bathroom needs to know you are master and commander and you will defile it at your pleasure.

    Weird feeling. Didn't get angry once really today. Just sad. As soon as they called Washington's catch a catch I knew we were effed because we left em too much time and we were going to lose by 3, the only surprise is we actually drove down and had a chance for the fg. I don't get how this defense is this bad. It makes zero sense.

    • @michaeldalton8374
      @michaeldalton8374 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Well-
      You don’t have live tackling in the spring game. Nor in practice. Then, who plays and who doesn’t has always been a friggen’ mystery with this staff. Remember JoJo being on the bench for so long, even though it seemed when he was in games, he was making big plays. Then they’d take him out again.
      Last year’s defense was ranked in the 40’s nationally, but that was with the seniors in their 27th year of eligibility. Not exactly dominant.
      These guys haven’t played together. They haven’t gelled as a unit. And they lack a coaching staff that has the abilities to make adjustments, personnel decisions, schemes, or techniques.
      That equals bad.
      Very bad.

    • @rickmoreno6858
      @rickmoreno6858 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The defense will never be good because they practice against teams that run that fast flashy pass first offense it's built on quick possessions they don't line up against teams that run the damn ball 60 or 70 times the game they can't stop the run they can't stop the pass that defense is the protege of that Husker offense the Husker offense sucks just as much as that defense does as long as you have that kind of offense and Nebraska your defense will never be that good they work together

    Although I am an Iowa fan, I am much closer to Lincoln than Iowa City. Several of my good friends are Husker fans and I feel for them. We are in similar but different situations right now; we can't buy a score and your defense is letting people carve them up. If we have your offense combined with our defense/special teams I think we'd win games; fantasy world thought. I really have no dislike or animosity toward Nebraska. We both deserve better.

      There's absolutely zero reasons to feel sorry for Scott Frost. Yes he's probably ruined his career as a head coach but UCF might consider taking him back if that job opens up again. But the main reason not to feel sorry for this dude is because he's stolen money from the state of Nebraska for a job he never came anywhere close to completing. We've placed Frost, Riley, Callahan, Pelini, and Solich in financial positions where they work or worked only because it's something they choose to do. Foolish to feel sorry for anyone in such an envious position.

    I was at this game unfortunately. To those of you that said the offense played pretty good, we did to an extent. The problem is that we have 5 or 6 games where we're going to face better defenses than we did the first 3 games. Grant won't be able to make those same plays against those teams. Our O-line blows and I'd be shocked if Thompson didn't end up like Martinez as far as injuries. Frost needs to go ASAP! I'll pitch in 20 dollars towards his buyout.

    Sympathy from a Michigan alum. I think it was a perfect storm of factors. Firing Pellini was a mistake. Hiring Reilly was shockingly stupid. Frost's missing ingrediants didn't show in his short time at UCF. Using the transfer portal in a huge way can work if you have a rare guy like Mel Tucker. Frost doesn't have the personality to pull it off- it just makes the culture worse.
    Nebraska is in a really bad place. After Reilly and Frost what head coach, even top coordinstor would want the job.
    Michigan went through an abysmal stretch but our golden boy was a much much more experienced coach with NFL experience that sells recruits than Frost and we are located in a state and region with more local talent.

It looks to me like Nebraska saw a former star player having a brilliantly successful year at UCF and, being desperate, conned itself into thinking salvation had been found. I want to tell you this. My grandpa is 94yrs old. Been hardcore devote husker fan all his life. I never ever seen him sooooo pissed off as I did with this lose. Two yrs ago I bought him a new 50” tv for his birthday. As the ball gently passed by the uprights. I heard a load FUUUUUUUCK AND A PINK STREAK ACROSS THE ROOM. Yes a pink streak it was a bottle of peptobismol he had on his side table. Last night I seen the end of the gift I bought him. A half bottle of pepto and the hopes of a 94yr olds dream. That his team would ever win another title again in his life time. I believed he knew the title wasn’t going to happen. But just a winning season. Scott Frost if my 94yr old grandpa could’ve face you last night. He may not have got it done. But he would’ve tried like hell to kick your ass. That’s more than what you’ve been doing anyway. But you know what, I am addicted to Nebraska football and will do it again and again and again. This Pee Wee football coach want be has destroyed the very fabric of this program and still has the audacity to stand on TV and talk about it. 1. He doesn’t run the defense. That’s Chinander. Frost needs to let him go now and hire someone else.
    2. Frost doesn’t Throw, catch, tackle, or kick for the players. Why people are blaming Frost is crazy.
    3. We were dreaming if we thought this would be fixed in the time Frost has been here. This is a complete athletic department rebuild. Not just the football program.
    4. Who wants to come here? If we just keep firing coaches no one will want to come here!
    Those are the arguments that are mainly out there right now.

She told me last year that she goes to the games to rub elbows with the big shots at the tailgates and she could care less if we win or not. Maybe that synopsis epitimizes the typical Nebraska fan. Today a lot of teams have lots of speed and very good skill players. NB I think has a very good Oline, use it better, develop a better running game. Remember Georgia Southern has had a winning program since the 80's, they recruit a lot good players NB overlooks for various reasons. The game has changed, players want to play, nobody wants to be stuck in NB and be forgotten.

    Your video after the Nortwestern debacle is still my all time favorite but this one is good too. There was a good time to be mad about the imcompetence of Nebraska's head coach and the incompetence of the AD who for some insane reason thought it wasn't a good idea to just buyout this coaches contract and fire him last year. Trev Alberts thought it was better to save 7.5 million and waste another entire season. What's 1 more season after you've pissed on the 4 previous ones. Anyway it's moved way beyond being mad, and laughing at the situation. All we can do now is be apathetic to this once proud but now a mere frail shadow of itself. This no doubt has to be the end of the Scott Frost era, because no knowledgeable fan who cares about this team can reasonably have any faith in his ability to lead this team. It' time to move on because this program's currently at such a low point that it would be hard to find a worse coach than Frost even if you were attempting to do just that. Were almost at a nowhere to go but up point. How this season finishes out will determine that.

      Do you really think someone like Urban Meyer or Bob Stoops would set foot in Lincoln? They could choose any job they wanted in California, Texas, Florida, etc. where five-star recruits grow on trees. Why would they come to Nebraska where you have to fight with schools like Missouri and Minnesota for lower-rated recruits? It is much, much easier to win elsewhere. No big name is going to tarnish their legacy in Lincoln. They are going to have to find someone lesser known who is hungry, and willing to scrap and fight to build the program. That was not Scott Frost. He ran the program like a fantasy football league, complete with pretzels and beer, and it failed miserably.
