      NB; Please review the other video carefully, as the scenarios may have slight differences. you can send me a screenshot via email, and my team will take a look.
      the answer is correct B PLACE THE PATIENT IN A LEFT SIDE LYING POSITION IS THE FIRST LINE OF ACTION
      Other treatment includes ;
      * administer iv fluid
      * oxygen per order
      * discontinue oxytocin
      * notify the doctor on duty
      Late decelerations are often indicative of uteroplacental insufficiency, meaning that the fetus may not be getting enough oxygen due to issues with blood flow or placental function. This condition can be concerning and requires prompt intervention.
      Repositioning:
      Positioning the mother on her left side can improve uteroplacental blood flow by relieving pressure on the inferior vena cava, which can be compressed in a supine position. This repositioning can enhance oxygen delivery to the fetus and may help resolve the late decelerations.
      A. Increase the infusion rate of oxytocin: This is inappropriate as increasing contractions could worsen the situation by further compromising blood flow to the fetus.
      C. Prepare for an immediate cesarean delivery: While this may be necessary if the situation does not improve, it is not the first step. Initial measures should focus on non-invasive interventions first.
      D. Administer oxygen via facemask: While this could be considered to improve fetal oxygenation, the immediate first step should be repositioning, which may effectively address the issue without the need for medications.
      thank you !!!

      Thank you for the question,
      Most of the questions presented here are actual exam questions, while some are similar questions designed to help you pass the Prometric exam. Many questions on the Prometric exam tend to repeat, but don't expect them to be identical word for word.
      Wish good luck 💯🤝🤝🤝💪

    Q no 10 answer can you give explanation

      Folic acid is crucial in reducing the risk of neural tube defects, such as spina bifida and anencephaly, which occur very early in fetal development. Since these defects can develop within the first few weeks of pregnancy, often before a woman even realizes she is pregnant, it is vital to start taking folic acid at least one month prior to conception and continue through the first trimester.
      The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health organizations recommend that all women of childbearing age take a daily supplement of 400 to 800 micrograms of folic acid, regardless of whether they are planning to become pregnant.
      A; "Folic acid helps prevent neural tube defects."
      This statement is correct. It highlights one of the primary reasons for taking folic acid.
      C; "Leafy green vegetables are a good source of folic acid."
      This statement is correct. Foods such as spinach, kale, and other leafy greens are rich in folate, which is the natural form of folic acid.
      D; "I need to take at least 400 micrograms of folic acid daily."
      This statement is correct. The recommended daily intake for women of childbearing age is at least 400 micrograms, and higher doses may be recommended for those with certain risk factors.
      THANK YOU !!!
