Where Are The Time Travellers?

  • Time travel isn’t the stuff of science fiction, the maths have been done.
So, it’s theoretically possible but we haven’t figured out how to do it yet.
But what if future humans HAVE worked it out and they’ve visited us already? In this video we take a look at some photographs which some believe prove that time travel already exists.

Watched another TT video & the thing that blew my mind was when it was explained that if travelling back in time was possible, it was mean that all of time, past, present & future is happening all at once! If you come from the future to the past, then that future has already happened! 🤯

Hi Tez, regarding the sunglasses, leather shields on the sides of other types of glasses had been common that far back, such as on welding glasses.
I’ve even purchased Willson (with 2 L’s) welding glasses from the early 1900’s with folding shields. However the shields on the examples I own are made of metal.
If you search for images of “Vintage Willson Safety Glasses Leather Sides” you’ll find numerous examples. It might have been possible to buy the shields separately and to place them onto any pair of sunglasses, should that user want the extra sun shielding from the sides.

Welding glasses have very dark lenses, which you can't see through unless you're welding. The glasses in the video are pilot's goggles. They had tinted lenses, and side shades to help with vision whilst flying above the clouds in strong sunlight. They were also worn by motorcyclists. A version was also issued to drivers of London buses in the early twentieth century.

Nah, it's just a bloke. Travelling forward in time is possible; indeed, we have done it. In orbit, Earth's gravity is less, so time passes faster. GPS satellites have to take this into account, and astronauts age slightly more slowly (we're talking microseconds) than people on Earth. As far as we know, there's no way to travel back in time unless you evoke some seriously theoretical physics like negative energy.

Obviously something has broken off which has left the holes in the side. Looks like her missing little finger has a hole in it as well. She does not look overly pleased at whatever is being presented to her - maybe is is an early type of mirror?

When it comes to the 1941 hipster I'm a bit surprised that no one has identified him yet, since the photo became viral quite a few years ago. Since he looks like he's about thirty years old it seems likely that there are people still alive who have met him, unless he died at a very young age. He must have relatives somewhere and even if they never met him they should be able to identify him from other photos. It doesn't seem to be an impossible task to identify him.

Just because theory predicts time travel is possible doesn't mean it's right. It is just a theory, you can have a theory that one day you'll win the lottery. This being despite you winning the jackpot being massively against you odds wise. There isn't even the thought possible that someone has to win it, this being due to roll overs, therefore noone has to win a jackpot ever.

A time traveler to the past would NOT be able to do ANYTHING that would have affected the time of his departure for the trip. Like an electromagnetic relay switch wired to the coil via the normally closed contacts. It can NEVER switch itself to the normally open contacts, as it threatens to cut off its energy from the normally closed as it tries to pull itself into the other position. It does not move at all (or simply vibrates a bit), no matter how much energy s run through the coil. A time traveler to the past would find he could not do things like kill his grandfather or even say things that would have effected the embarkation of his trip---- As he would not have been there to do it. Paradoxes ae only paradoxes if one manages to pull one off,---- But paradoxes cannot exist in reality. Trying to shoot one's own grandfather , one would encounter something that feels like a mysterious "force" keeping one from pulling the trigger, but it's not really a "Force" at all, but really the LACK of force---- Just like the electromagnetic switch that cannot pull down the contacts to close the normally open position. Thus the traveler will find any action that affects his place in the past, an impossible task to carry out if he is aware of the results or not. This "time force" will haunt him and limit his actions. Yes, he will still be able to go to the past and even interact, but often encounter "forces" that limit what he can do. The "Grandfather Paradox" is BALONEY, as it is only a paradox if the traveler actually DID kill his Grandfather, which cannot happen.

He took two extremely accurate electronic devices for measuring time, left one in his laboratory and took the other one up on the side of a mountain. Hours later, he retrieved the one on the mountain and took it down to his lab. The time on the two devices didn't match. Is time affected by altitude?

The big elephant in the room is the assumption that both the future and past have time occurring just as it is for us now in the present. But does that really make sense? ... or even work out? If the future exists as a place one can go to in a manner other than we do by simply existing from moment to moment, then we exist in their past. And by extension then for us the past must also exist. We know from Bell's experiments that hidden variables do not exist and that true random events occur, such as with radioactive decay. And if the past exists as the present does for us then randomness must be ocurring there as well. This implies that our present is forever changing by means of the butterfly effect the farther we look back in time. And that our future is having just as much of an issue with this as we are now.
We know that the present is built upon the past, after all past events caused what exists today. But perhaps the way to look at it is analogous to a brick wall being built, where the present is the only place where time flows ... from one brick being placed upon the previous one. The past may exist, but like past bricks it is fixed and immovable (unable to be altered). Nothing can happen there, meaning conciousness cannot even occur. And the future (to us) has not yet been built and therefore does not yet exist.
Relativity does allow for time dilation, but that is not time travel. All frames of referene still process foward even if at different rates. Wormholes (if they exist at all) are pure conjecture as the laws of physics break down within singularities, a needed state for wormholes to exist (in theory). And in the end let's not forget that causalty cannot be violated.

It seems to me that retrograde time travel could not happen due to the various laws of conservation. For example, if you were to travel to the past there would be less matter and energy in the present universe, and there would be more matter and energy in the universe of the past to which you traveled. This would violate the laws of conservation of mass and energy.

Time travel to the past is only possible to the date when the time machine was first switched on. Therefore a time machine would need to have been created before the time of the photos. However since some of the designs involve super massive black holes that can have existed for billions of years it is possible

Slight correction: the scientific community is not “convinced” of time travel. Wormholes are still an open question (like requiring negative energy) and even if we did manage to make them, it might be that there is a universal preferred reference frame (there is a perspective from which time travel is impossible) or that Hawking’s chronology protection conjecture is true (any time machine will immediately self-destruct due to the infinite recursing influx of radiation from the past/future). TL;DR FTL travel is most likely not possible, and even if it is extending that to time travel is a leap.

The picture taken in Iceland of the man supposedly holding a cellphone can easily be explained. Once I explain it, you should see it. That is not his hand you are seeing. It is the women's face standing next to him and looking toward him and upwards. The color of her coat is darker than his jacket, which explains why it can't be his sleeve. Do you see her face?

Time travelers…..just because you can’t see it does not mean it isn’t there. Can we see radio waves, can we see microwaves? We can see cell phone waves in the air. Describing this to someone several hundreds of years ago we would be considered evil because it was not thinkable.

When it comes to the girl who is seen in Canada in the gold rush picture and it is also active recently could it be that the first one was an ancestor who somewhere down the line they are their descendants move to where the current girl is from because there’s a chance that the first one the older one could be an ancestor And that they moved from Canada to wherever the current girl is from it won’t fit that on her for generations down the line for that have moved from one country to another and depending on how strong does the next are within that lineage, would it be that’s a presid Michela differe Munchlax heart ancestor spell CF, maybe both iPads are acid, both descendants of that ancestor, the bearing on how many generations are separated Because that could be a very scientifically based explanation to what could plausibly have caused these pictures in these two girls in these pictures to look so alike. It’s better being separated by not only years but countries in an ocean.

He wasn't a hipster; there was no such thing back then. He may have been a hep cat but my knowledge is limited. Light, from the photon's point of view, travels instantly regardless of spatial distance; it's spread out within space/time and only appears to be moving. We can stop time but, pure guess, to travel backwards would require a reversal of space/time expansion at some localized level and I strongly doubt this is possible. Communication may be possible though but would require that it be received; ie we could send a message back in time to be read at some point in time AFTER the initial connection in the past has been made, such as sending back todays lottery numbers to the Big Bang and reading it yesterday. The possibilities are endless; the probabilities less so ;)

And the" usb ports" are probably just holes to hold on the the rest if the "3D" clay tablet. That's it. You cannot look at these ancient things with a 21e century mind. You have to think like them and what was important to them and what was common in daily use.

0:55 as soon as see this photograph of this so called time traveler man with sunglasses I stop watching any time traveler video, as it has been already debunk by many channels like why files - WF (you can check on their channels. PS. This is not paid promotion, you can alternatively do your own fact findings)... Most possibly this man had an eye surgery and hence wearing those specially designed sunglasses for therapeutic reasons.. And that's the truth, full stop... anyway I enjoyed all other videos on your channel. Thanks

Neil DeGrasse Tyson has a video about time travel. It's not just about time. It also involves where the earth is in the universe at the desired moment. The earth is spinning and spiraling through space at a rate of epic proportions and you'd have to know it's exact location in the vastness of the universe to be able to return to the moment in time you'd wish to visit.
    Good luck with that. LOL

One problem with the first photo. The most likely explanation of the young man is that he is an unconventional dresser. I was too. Nobody I knew or saw dressed like me when I was in my 30s. The glasses could be for eye problems. This is the much more likely explanation and, as you might know, Occam's razor says that the most likely answer is the simplest.
    A) Artistic taste and possible eye problems
    b0 Time traveler

Very nearly interesting? Surely you jest. Pretty damn informative is more like it.
With regard to the 1941 time traveling hipster those could be “glacier glasses” with side panels, seem to recall seeing those on Everest expeditions in the 1920s.
What a brilliant idea by Hawking to throw a party for time travelers. A practical and logical genius, in addition to his work as mathematician, theorist, and whatever else. Wonder what he was thinking about as he sat there.
Interestingly, I just watched your video about cognitive bias.
Do you think that has any effect upon your tendency to see iPhones and time travelers in these photographs? 😊

In all likelihood there arer probably dozens, possibly hundreds, of Greta Thunberg doubles all over the world - just as there are many doubles of all of us. We have all seen the most astonishing pictures of 'doubles' who looked more alike even then twins.
