Man that roach story is the thing of nightmares, guess it was appropriate they were infesting Leech! About as bad as the opening house in Resident Evil 7 when you lift the pot lid and a roach attaches to your hand :)

I really like what they did with this new leech for the origins. The action features work great and I'm glad they included the classics style head. Yes originally the classics leech was gonna have a second head that looks like that vintage and had a push on sticking feature like this origins. But it was cut because of the tooling costs for that figure at the time.

@@therealunclassified I too have most of the classics line. I didn't think I would get into these lines. Then doing TH-cam reviews opened the door to having all the origins and Masterverse lines.
@@therealunclassified I had to clear my whole desk off in the back of my toy cave and set up a diorama in the backround, plus two photo lights on each side. A tripod for a mobile phone or camera and editing plus thumbnail maker apps. Again I make my videos more advanced because of all the equipment and experience now. My early videos sucked! That's ok because I was just trying to have fun and sharing my toy collecting, hauls, tours and reviews with the youtube commuity. Now the way I make videos is more like a job and stressful to put to gether. I have some bad health problems with lupus and degenitive arthritis that makes things very difficult for me that you do not see in front of the camera. My wife helps with alot of set ups and bending or heavy stuff. I can't even always play with my own toys. Lol Point is! Just film a little footage of your stuff or pick ups on your smartphone. Then upload it to your account with the youtube app. Just try something different and have fun!

@@allmusicfan88 No problem! I love the classics line. They did have their limations and weekness in the pegs sometimes. Origins is really universal and built well to play around with. I really like the seeing the figures like leech in deluxe cards. We get more cool things included.

What a nightmare inducing Leech story. I always wanted Leech as a kid but was never able to find one. By the time I did, it was at a flea market and I was older and had moved on from toys so I passed on it.

Hey Man! Thanks. I put alot of work into the video with edits. Glad it came out OK. Oh these origins horde guys are a must! They are getting cooler with each release. The leech and mantenna are awesome! They put cool attention into those guys. Now we need a dragster, Modulok and Multibot to complete the origins horde up like the vintage were!
@@citizenkill7435 The Horde troopers are hard to find out on the wild from what im being told. But maybe you can lucky! I only have the one from wave 8 and the two powercon ones. He is another figure in the origins that came out really cool. People online are also building an army with those guys. It would be great if you can findca couple!👍
I'm surprised he didn't come with feet too being they included all the other stuff. That would have cool. I have seen images in cómics and art were leech had feet without the suction cups engaged. My Origins collection has all but dried up. I haven't seen anything new or old on the pegs since the Jitsu wave. I passed on Stridor, which I see going on clearance soon; I'll get it then. Never Ever saw a Greyskull in the store. I switched to Masterverse at the beginning of the year, quickly bought several basics and a few deluxes. Recently found Trap-Jaw at Target but still haven't seen the new Teela. Finding Masterverse figures at the store is still ok but it's beginning to run dry with the collector interest peeking and not having Origins to choose from. The "Kiddie" He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is my favorite line right now. I am finding new, interesting characters every other paycheck. I have about half the basics: Man-E-Faces & Ram Ma'am being my favs. I also have the deluxe Beastman and I recently found Evil-Lyn! Both very cool figures imo. I'm on the lookout for the female Mosquitor that they got coming
Hey Man! Thanks for stopping by! I hope things are going well!👍 Yeah The origins is a really great line for many of us who are looking for a new take on the vintage Nastalgia many of us grew up with! But they are a pain in ass to find the ones you want! I get my stuff online and killed on the on the cost! But thats what some of us do to really get what we want sometimes! The Masterverse line is great too. They have many cool reviews coming out like , Beastman, Hordak, Catra and another Sunman to name a few! Trap-jaw is a really cool figure! Nice pick ups!! The new Teela is Hard to find still, many people are chasing that one! The New Cgi He-man figures are fun! I have a few that I used for my origins like Battle Cat, Orko and the Snake attack set. They work well with some modifications. But im not gonna get to big in that line. I got to much going now and I prefer the figures with more articulation. But those new He-man figures are Easier to find and have better support from the Netflix show!👍

Some here and there online. I'm not sure when the UK area will see them. The distribution is really bad with the origins sometimes. I would check with a local hobby or comic shop if you have one close. That would be a good start! 👍
@@Themanchlid Yes. ha ha I try to buy at least three of each character. Webstor has that blue color for Filmation Hordak (for those who didn't get the SDCC Hordak) and for a cool version of Skeletor. I have to start making videos soon. ha ha I don't have any shelving up yet in my new place, which is why I haven't started videos. I might try another display option.

I love Filmation, so I am one of those people that is hoping for a Filmation wave of characters, even though Super7 did them in the 5.5 scale, it only had the vintage movement and those dangerous bands that snap. I'm glad you have room for more, because your collections seem pretty full! ha ha Yes moving makes it hard to start over with shelving and stuff. I doubt I will ever have enough space for everything I have. ha ha For MOTU alone, between Classics, Club Grayskull, Origins, down to the Loyal Subjects, everyhing is neatly packed and put away for the most part. I will have to display one MOTU line at a time, and then film it, and then take it down. ha ha And then do the next one! LOL! Also, I have quite a Ghostbusters collection, between Mattel, Diamond Select, RGB & Hasbro. I need a warehouse! LOL! 😁😁

Yeah Technically he has more of a sticking suckion n action to grass or solid surfaces. But he looks really cool and fits right in great with the Origins Horde line now. Thanks for checking out the review! The cross bow is split or can lock by a snap in the middle. This goes back to the vintage horde crossbow which the origins is designed the same way. As far as I know it was a simple action feature that allowed the crossbow to flex and retract like it was ready to fire some kind of energy projectile as a real crossbow is retracted with the bow and string back to fire an arrow. That's the way I always viewed it as a kid.

@@jebstuart4004 No problem! Yeah I had most of the vintage He-man line as a kid. Missing a few things. I own most of the classics line now. Again Missing a few things, lol. What goes around! Comes around! Some of my friends had a ton of Starwars, Transformers, Gi Joe and of coarse Masters of the universe. The MOTU vintage line was really marketed about the action features..So even certain things sometimes like the Horde crossbow was set up with little things like that or for another purpose to use with future figures or accessories. Its cool that the origins is putting back many of the action features in the figures. Some are redisigned or even replaced, liked the new articulation and removeable parts in all the joints over the spring punch for example the vintage had built in. I think this line is really fun and very nastalgic for many of us that grew up with it!👍
I really am impressed with this new version of leech in hand. Mattel did a great job! The deluxe packaging was the way to go so we have all these cool options. Thanks for watching and sharing your comments!👍
Oh man, great review and what a wild childhood story, I'll never look at the vintage Leech figure the same way again! Leech was absolutely one of my favorite MOTU figures as a kid and one of the few I actually have memories of actually having and playing with. I'd say Stinkor and Grizzlor are the only other MOTU's that I remember distinctly having as a kid, I think for obvious reason, the smell and the hair, lol. I can't wait to get this figure, he looks amazing! I'll probably pose him with the open mouth head since I have a vintage Leech that obviously has the suction cup face on it, they'll probably look cool posed next to each other. Those new extra hands he comes with reminds me of a Ninja Turtles hand, but with longer fingers

I used to be able to get these a lot easier at retail, at least at Target, but I haven't seen any new Origins figures for a while, so I'm glad I ordered Clawful on BBTS, otherwise I still wouldn't have him

I would totally recommend preordering leech from BBTS. That's is the best chances of getting one a couple months from now at fair cost! My area sucks too with origins. To be fair Origins is very difficult to find certain figures all over. The distribution is a complete reck on this line. That's great you got you got those guys in. I appreciate the view and the comments! Oh yeah I believe you! I also knew other people that had roach Nests in other game consoles. I think I seen one video on youtube with a Playstation full of them. I'm sure there's plenty of those videos. I don't even want to watch them. Its bullshit and creepy they get into stuff you have! Some people don't even know they have roaches untill you look at something in your house like that leech figure or your Sega and see antennas moving around! Lol
This Origins Leech was another hard figure to find in the beginning of his release. He seems to found mostly in Targets in The USA. And of coarse online at other places for more money. The Origins line is strange as fas as distribution since day one. Somethings end up overseas first and many things not at all or in limited numbers to certain hobby shops like Smyths.

Once I got this origins Leech in hand, The flashbacks started with the roaches in that story I told. I'm glad it doesn't have a button. I get alot of spiders and Nests around me. They would fit right in a Hollow Leech like the vintage or if the origins was Hollow. Those big roaches are States South of me. We get the little ones that grow about an inch with the antennes. Creepy looking garbage bugs!🤮

Lived in a house with roaches and even spent a couple nights in a car with my mom before my step dad came along. That's why I felt I could tell that story about this kids across the street dirt poor. Believe me I'm no better than they are! Just got lucky at the time. But I had my problems with my mom. She was mentially sick. Thank God for those He-man toys and my step father!👍

So I don't have a good ebay contact. If I get them on ebay. It's some random person that found them. The carded waves I get on ebay from two sellers in maylasia. So I know them a bit. Just keep looking a couple times a day. Some will show up!👍

I am tempted to sell off my 30 Origin Figures I have sealed and invest it elsewhere like finishing my Vintage GI Joe Collection OR My Motu Vintage Collection.. heck last week I paid $60 total for Origins Roboto sealed.. it's really ridiculous.. We live in a post covid world or economy. Everything is a mess from inflation, covid infections ongoing in China in the factorys, Shipping container problems, distribution and everything under the sun. Yes Mattel Motu origins line is really wanted by the collectors but a complete mess trying to get your hands on many things. But believe me there are other toys that have simular problem in production and distribution. It's very frustrating and competitive. I like reviewing and buying the origins. I try to be positive and bring stuff early to the table with my own time and financial sacrifice to my channel for reviews to show people what's coming, See if you want it and budget for it once it hits retail or places like Big bad toy stores. To be honest theres a part of me that just wants to collect and not want to review some of this stuff because it's a slap in the face to people who really want it and can't find it for months or it's alot of money on ebay! That's not my intentions or message. I want people to get these figures in hand as soon as possible for retail price and be happy. But I don't have control or always good advice aside place your order with big bad toy store or bite the bullet and go on ebay for a fortune sometimes. So yeah I hate the bullshit with these toys that should be in your Target a week or two after my or other people's reviews. It is what it is. I don't want a channel talking negitive and doom and gloom about the reality of this hobby sometimes. Just fun and things to look forward down the road that bring simple joy in our life's as adults👍

He cake out really great. Great engineering used here to mimic the vintage with updated articulation. Wish they did this for the classics.

I'm surprised he didn't come with feet too being they included all the other stuff. That would have cool. I have seen images in cómics and art were leech had feet without the suction cups engaged. My Origins collection has all but dried up. I haven't seen anything new or old on the pegs since the Jitsu wave. I passed on Stridor, which I see going on clearance soon; I'll get it then. Never Ever saw a Greyskull in the store.
I switched to Masterverse at the beginning of the year, quickly bought several basics and a few deluxes. Recently found Trap-Jaw at Target but still haven't seen the new Teela. Finding Masterverse figures at the store is still ok but it's beginning to run dry with the collector interest peeking and not having Origins to choose from.
The "Kiddie" He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is my favorite line right now. I am finding new, interesting characters every other paycheck. I have about half the basics: Man-E-Faces & Ram Ma'am being my favs. I also have the deluxe Beastman and I recently found Evil-Lyn! Both very cool figures imo. I'm on the lookout for the female Mosquitor that they got coming

Yeah The origins is a really great line for many of us who are looking for a new take on the vintage Nastalgia many of us grew up with! But they are a pain in ass to find the ones you want! I get my stuff online and killed on the on the cost! But thats what some of us do to really get what we want sometimes!
The Masterverse line is great too. They have many cool reviews coming out like , Beastman, Hordak, Catra and another Sunman to name a few! Trap-jaw is a really cool figure! Nice pick ups!! The new Teela is Hard to find still, many people are chasing that one!
The New Cgi He-man figures are fun! I have a few that I used for my origins like Battle Cat, Orko and the Snake attack set. They work well with some modifications. But im not gonna get to big in that line. I got to much going now and I prefer the figures with more articulation. But those new He-man figures are Easier to find and have better support from the Netflix show!👍

Lol! Thanks for watching! Yeah the Roaches memory still gross me out! I'm glad this new origins leech didn't have that button.😄 This figure is still hard to find in the USA. Some here and there online. I'm not sure when the UK area will see them. The distribution is really bad with the origins sometimes. I would check with a local hobby or comic shop if you have one close. That would be a good start! 👍
I have 3 of Webstor, and I wish I had three more! That is a character to customize, especially for Skeletor and Hordak.

@@Themanchlid Yes. ha ha I try to buy at least three of each character. Webstor has that blue color for Filmation Hordak (for those who didn't get the SDCC Hordak) and for a cool version of Skeletor. I have to start making videos soon. ha ha I don't have any shelving up yet in my new place, which is why I haven't started videos. I might try another display option.
@@allmusicfan88 Yeah it's awesome having all those characters. The filmation styles are interesting. Many people hope hope filmation figures show up in the line. I have room for more extra figures and doubles. Yeah I remember you mentioned moving. Now you have to make a new area for your collection. That takes time. I would be interested in seeing you fim your toys and things. Its always great to see other people collection,What they have and how they se it up!👍

I love Filmation, so I am one of those people that is hoping for a Filmation wave of characters, even though Super7 did them in the 5.5 scale, it only had the vintage movement and those dangerous bands that snap. I'm glad you have room for more, because your collections seem pretty full! ha ha Yes moving makes it hard to start over with shelving and stuff. I doubt I will ever have enough space for everything I have. ha ha For MOTU alone, between Classics, Club Grayskull, Origins, down to the Loyal Subjects, everyhing is neatly packed and put away for the most part. I will have to display one MOTU line at a time, and then film it, and then take it down. ha ha And then do the next one! LOL!
Also, I have quite a Ghostbusters collection, between Mattel, Diamond Select, RGB & Hasbro. I need a warehouse! LOL! 😁😁
@@allmusicfan88 Lol. We all have the problem! Not enough space for all the line we collect. I am running out of room too. As I spread out a few different collections or figures. Other stuff has to go away or packed up. We start with a shelf then we need a museum or a watehouse for this stuff .lol

Yeah Technically he has more of a sticking suckion n action to grass or solid surfaces. But he looks really cool and fits right in great with the Origins Horde line now. cool figure, just a stupid question : why the crossbow is always in 2 parts un the middle ? thanks !
Thanks for checking out the review! The cross bow is split or can lock by a snap in the middle. This goes back to the vintage horde crossbow which the origins is designed the same way.
As far as I know it was a simple action feature that allowed the crossbow to flex and retract like it was ready to fire some kind of energy projectile as a real crossbow is retracted with the bow and string back to fire an arrow. That's the way I always viewed it as a kid.
@@Themanchlid thanks for the explanations, i was more in Starwars as a kid and had only some classics MOTU but never had any figures with this crossbow.
@@jebstuart4004 No problem! Yeah I had most of the vintage He-man line as a kid. Missing a few things. I own most of the classics line now. Again Missing a few things, lol. What goes around! Comes around! Some of my friends had a ton of Starwars, Transformers, Gi Joe and of coarse Masters of the universe. The MOTU vintage line was really marketed about the action features..So even certain things sometimes like the Horde crossbow was set up with little things like that or for another purpose to use with future figures or accessories. Its cool that the origins is putting back many of the action features in the figures. Some are redisigned or even replaced, liked the new articulation and removeable parts in all the joints over the spring punch for example the vintage had built in. I think this line is really fun and very nastalgic for many of us that grew up with it!👍
Love how they gave him classic and new head. Definitely looking forward to this figure.

Oh man, great review and what a wild childhood story, I'll never look at the vintage Leech figure the same way again! Leech was absolutely one of my favorite MOTU figures as a kid and one of the few I actually have memories of actually having and playing with. I'd say Stinkor and Grizzlor are the only other MOTU's that I remember distinctly having as a kid, I think for obvious reason, the smell and the hair, lol. I can't wait to get this figure, he looks amazing! I'll probably pose him with the open mouth head since I have a vintage Leech that obviously has the suction cup face on it, they'll probably look cool posed next to each other. Those new extra hands he comes with reminds me of a Ninja Turtles hand, but with longer fingers

This leech looks great in the origins Horde collection now. All we need is Modulok, Multibot and dragstor and then we have all the vintage horde line up from the 80s line. I remember my grizzlors hair selling too. Yeah this leech figure is a must have once he becomes avaliable at retailers. I hope you get one in hands soon@✌️😁

I used to be able to get these a lot easier at retail, at least at Target, but I haven't seen any new Origins figures for a while, so I'm glad I ordered Clawful on BBTS, otherwise I still wouldn't have him
@@comix1017 Thanks for sharing your toy updates! I hear you on that! I use to buy to of many things in the day. But it gets to be to much with space, money and more things I have to deal with. I would totally recommend preordering leech from BBTS. That's is the best chances of getting one a couple months from now at fair cost! My area sucks too with origins. To be fair Origins is very difficult to find certain figures all over. The distribution is a complete reck on this line. That's great you got you got those guys in. I love getting new motu figures in hand!✌️

This Origins Leech was another hard figure to find in the beginning of his release. He seems to found mostly in Targets in The USA. And of coarse online at other places for more money. The Origins line is strange as fas as distribution since day one. Somethings end up overseas first and many things not at all or in limited numbers to certain hobby shops like Smyths.

Once I got this origins Leech in hand, The flashbacks started with the roaches in that story I told. I'm glad it doesn't have a button. I get alot of spiders and Nests around me. They would fit right in a Hollow Leech like the vintage or if the origins was Hollow. Those big roaches are States South of me. We get the little ones that grow about an inch with the antennes. Creepy looking garbage bugs!🤮

Lived in a house with roaches and even spent a couple nights in a car with my mom before my step dad came along. That's why I felt I could tell that story about this kids across the street dirt poor. Believe me I'm no better than they are! Just got lucky at the time. But I had my problems with my mom. She was mentially sick. Thank God for those He-man toys and my step father!👍

@@MNC122703 I live next to the ocean too. My father was a lobsterman and I use to a scuba diver before I got sick. I know plenty about the ocean here! We don't get those water busca here. Mainly Snapping turtles, Horse flys and weird spiders.

@@KirksCORNER-1983 Yeah I knew about that store because of someone on youtube. They do get strange things in at certain times. The deluxe card origins usually show up in strange place in the USA. So I don't have a good ebay contact. If I get them on ebay. It's some random person that found them. The carded waves I get on ebay from two sellers in maylasia. So I know them a bit. Just keep looking a couple times a day. Some will show up!👍
@The Man Child Mattel has made this hobby not fun at all having to do all this to get these guys.. growing up in the 80s and 90s we could find any figure we wanted just about IN STORES. I am tempted to sell off my 30 Origin Figures I have sealed and invest it elsewhere like finishing my Vintage GI Joe Collection OR My Motu Vintage Collection.. heck last week I paid $60 total for Origins Roboto sealed.. it's really ridiculous.. Joe Bidens America....🤦♂️🤦♂️NOTHING ever on shelves anymore.. boats just sitting in the docks..
@@KirksCORNER-1983 The World is changing with toy collecting and of coarse with everything! It's not the same. The problems started even before Biden. But he's not helping. We live in a post covid world or economy. Everything is a mess from inflation, covid infections ongoing in China in the factorys, Shipping container problems, distribution and everything under the sun. Yes Mattel Motu origins line is really wanted by the collectors but a complete mess trying to get your hands on many things. But believe me there are other toys that have simular problem in production and distribution. It's very frustrating and competitive. I like reviewing and buying the origins. I try to be positive and bring stuff early to the table with my own time and financial sacrifice to my channel for reviews to show people what's coming, See if you want it and budget for it once it hits retail or places like Big bad toy stores. To be honest theres a part of me that just wants to collect and not want to review some of this stuff because it's a slap in the face to people who really want it and can't find it for months or it's alot of money on ebay! That's not my intentions or message. I want people to get these figures in hand as soon as possible for retail price and be happy. But I don't have control or always good advice aside place your order with big bad toy store or bite the bullet and go on ebay for a fortune sometimes. So yeah I hate the bullshit with these toys that should be in your Target a week or two after my or other people's reviews. It is what it is.
I don't want a channel talking negitive and doom and gloom about the reality of this hobby sometimes. Just fun and things to look forward down the road that bring simple joy in our life's as adults👍
