I believe I speak for everyone here when I say “Thank You”, you just made so many people childhoods come true. I know this is a silly idea but what if one of the creators from Acceleracers saw this and Mattel contacted you and then this game was released on x box and ps4, that would be amazing but like a said it’s only a silly idea. Thanks for recreating my childhood.

I'm not sure the capabilities of the people developing this game, but the idea and concepts presented in acceleracers would definitely make up a fun racing game, only thing is though no money would be made. Whilst this is a fan game, you or somebody should create a reskin, completely different name and branding (and model cars) but the same idea and concept of acceleracers, with how the maps are design and the function of accelechargers. Other than that, great job so far on the game. Glad its finally playable to the public to try.

Just got done playing through it for a good 20 minutes. I love the physics of Reverb and how it handles. I think the biggest problem I saw so far is with the track. There were so many parts where Reverb would clip with the track and I'd hit an immediate stop. This made the loops impossible to actually drive through because I'd clip right before going into it and lose all my momentum. I think once you get more levels designed and more cars put in to drive, the game will come out amazingly. Sounds would be nice too, haha. Hope we can drive the legacy cars in the future too, like the Teku Deora, Teku Slingshot, and Metal Maniacs Roadrunner. Can't thank you enough for making my childhood a reality! Performance with a GTX 980 and an i5 3550 ran extremely smooth at all times.

I was wondering if accelechargers will be implemented in later versions of the game (I know this is an early one but this question was rounding my mind since I knew about this project)
It has been More than 10 years since I watched acceleracers and always wanted to PLAY a game of it, Today I still remain a huge fan and WE HAVE A BETA!!
Watched Acceleracers when I was 5 (World Race when I was 3 going on 4) seeing something like this serves as another testament to the incredible amount of fans the series, that I thought was pretty unknown to the majority of people, has and the effort they put into their creations, such as mods on Trackmania or really solid recreations of tracks on Distance, and now a full fledged game being made by you and your group of ppl. I'm 18 now and never would me and my brother have thought that something we wanted so badly would actually become a reality. Whether or not this becomes a finished stealthy indie game or not, we're grateful as hell all the same

I'm so excited to finally be able to play an Acceleracers game, I was just wondering if there were plans to add team-specific upgrades (Jump-Jets for Teku, Plow for Metal Maniacs, etc.)
Feels like just yesterday the community revived. Around 2011 or something. Those old ROBLOX games and years later we get Distance track levels, and now? A fully custom game of Acceleracers? This is something I've wanted for so long.

This project has really gone a long way! Congratulations on getting the beta out! I’m confused on the “Track texture made by Dashie or Randomwizkid” credit however... It’s dashies, my track texture is different, and is only used in valken’s renders (As far as I know)

Damn, this looks pretty good! I'm so grateful to see the entirety of my childhood last this long, and I can tell there's some good effort in this, thank you so much for the sample!
Now, I don't know much about anything when it comes to how you would make this, but here are some things I noticed playing through it.
- When it comes to the loops, it's not entirely possible to get around them. Reverb's speed seems to drop a considerable amount, and I get the feeling "Oh crap I'm gonna make it" but it doesn't happen. What's really satisfying is sticking the wheels to the track for the whole loop (though I suppose Vert kind of just cheated it in the World Race..). I'm not sure if that would be possible or not, but those are just my thoughts there.
- Steering can be a tad touchy at times. Overall, it's very responsive and I did feel like I could maintain control for the most part, but when it came to the flat loops (after the first big loop), I had to keep slowing and starting. That said, it's entirely possible I just suck at driving games in general and it's something you've gotta get used to.
- When going over the first drop, Reverb seems very light. Not sure what can be done about that, but it would probably help the player get through a loop if they stay on the track to build up speed for it.
- I did notice that when I was helplessly falling off the track, the speedometer in the corner of the screen was speeding up and slowing down (I think it's due to the angle of the car?). It worked perfectly fine on the track and I'm not too sure what can be fixed about it, but all things considered you probably don't have to worry about it too much.
- Now of course it's the beta, but I did find moving the camera with my mouse to be a bit of a hassle. If the camera angle could be automatic, that would be one less thing to worry about.
Now for some final notes. I'm not sure where this is headed, but honestly I would pay for it if it got more fleshed out and wholesome (that is, assuming it's affordable..). I don't know what's planned for it, but I'd really love seeing some Nitrox 2 in there at some point (it could probably also fix the loop issues I was talking about). Of course, I would also seriously enjoy seeing some of the other tracks, but those would obviously take much more time and effort. I think this realm was just perfect for the beta.
All in all, I'm loving it so far. I've kinda been keeping tabs on this little community here, and I'm so glad things are still going strong (except for Acceleracers 5. I'm still not sure on the status of that one.), given the circumstances. Thank you so much for developing this, I sincerely enjoyed it, keep it up!
Oh shoot, also Accelechargers, that would probably be really difficult, but it would add a whole new element to it.

the only 2 things ive noticed with this is that the vehicle cant reach 300 mph, but i can get to half of that, and the next thing, there isn't any nitrox. i get that it's a beta, but those are some ideas you can think about, and other than that, i'd be more than willing to get this game because it truly is a start to what we were left.

I just turned on the focus, so if in the final version of the game with everything complete, it seems to you that when the game starts let us be the racing drones and win the first accelechargers and then start the stories of the movies
Acho que se misturassem tipo , uma pegada mais arcade com uns 10% simulador(momentos de drift) ficaria bom..e tambem colocando fisica em certos pontos para poder pular..como por exemplo...descer uma estrada o carro nao sai da pista..fica grudado nela... e so desativaria esse sistema pertos de rampas.... mas o jogo fico incrivel!

Hot Wheels Acceleracers was a spectacular racing and sci-fi film series. It aired in Bangladesh in 2005. A part of my childhood is growing up watching it and buying some Acceleracers toy cars. I studied on robotics projects like Quadcopters, UAVs, Mars rovers and different types of Drones before graduating with an electronic engineering degree 13 years later. The Racing drones of this series first taught me the term 'Drone'. Part of my inspiration to study on robotics and autonomous vehicles comes from this franchise. The Highway 35 World Race film, its prequel, taught me about wisdom and the abuse of power and energy source. By the way, what game engine you use to create this beta version- Unity, Unreal engine, Blender 3D?

Imagine having a storymode option where you play the tracks in the order of the movies. The time limit might have to be reduced because 1 hour tracks would be absurd, but I can see it working.
Also, I want to know how you plan to impliment the Silencerz and Racing Drones, and whether we would be able to play as them

pretty sure this track model was made by Wolf Black, if I'm correct a much later (and improved) version was put into Velocity Redux (previously known as Generacers X) so you can still play this in some form.
I made the track a long time ago and have re made it a bunch so I know it didn't belong to anyone.

@@Zippy_Zolton yeah, I don't like using people's stuff but I will say, back then it was more of a team effort since I had help with some of the stuff back then (credits in the description) so the track texture might have been my friend's so that may be why it looks similar.

I havent played it yet but i have one question, can you lock the camera so when you go on loops the camera stays behind it
up now i don't know if you played it or not but he camera can't be locked, you have to control it with your Mouse, and the loop i don't think that there's a way to make it since there's something "invisible" making you crash at the start of the loop.

This really looks more like alpha to me (still amazing tho). Where are the other cars? Where is the racing system? Where's the Nitrox II? Is that stuff you guys plan to implement?
It's rather upsetting as to how Hot Wheels didn't go through with this idea themselves and now the fanbase is doing it for them.
