Fkn phenomenal gig 🥰 listened to biffy clyro since I was right young and never been able to see them until last night it’s so good to finally have seen them! I’ve watched every single thing they’ve been too 😂
fuck thanks brother didn't want too use the phone yesterday! you are right behind me! let's go! i hoped you didnt cut my scream ''tom would be proud of us brother!'' haha but stiil, what a night! thanks for sharing
Devastated I had to leave 10 songs early to catch my bus! Both bands were on top form though. Thanks for the clips so I can watch what I missed hahaha At least I got to crowdsurf in the Hydro for the first time to Animals! Think this is the first gig since before Sleeps in the Catty where I haven't bumped into you in the crowd
@@MitchyGDLP that was definitely the most packed Hydro gig I've been to so it was definitely a challenge to find people 😂 See you at the next one! Enjoy STYG and Landmvrks!
Hey, I love your account and have a few questions about some shows in Glasgow. Im going to a few shows alone next year (ice nine kills and bad omens). At the Garage in Glasgow, where do you recommend is best to probably stand if you aren’t wanting to get in the pit or pushed around? Is there any like raised areas in the venue where you can stand? Also in the O2 Academy, can those in balcony go downstairs to get merch? :) thanks in advance
Well at the Garage and basically at any venue the best places to go which aren't in the pit area are the sides or the back. There is like a balcony bit in the garage and a couple of raised tables but they are usually reserved for VIPs and first come first served folk. At the academy, I can't remember if there is a merch stand upstairs but there should be but I really couldn't tell you because I haven't really spent much time up there. Either way I appreciate the feedback it means a lot 🔥
For me the whole reason this tour was booked because of that song and they missed an opportunity, although there is Download next year so see what happens 🔥
Bro, I have been an architects fan since Hollow crown and a biffy fan since before they even released blackened sky, two of my longest standing favourite bands….until the last few years. I didn’t even consider this gif for the exact reasons you mentioned. I’m all for bands changing their sound and experimenting etc, but don’t completely abandon your old stuff. I still give their releases a listen, but nothing has grabbed me for a long time now.
I've been to a biffy gig at *least* once a year for most of my life now (i'm 28), seeing them twice this week - can't wait. Whilst they may not necessarily go through their entire back catalogue (i WISHHHHH they'd do a tour doing old songs - fingers crossed!) they do sometimes play old classics. They did Christopher's river the other night, and 57 always pops up amongst others. A biffy gig transcends just hearing them play their stuff though.... it's an EXPERIENCE. They're just bloody brilliant. As a long-term forever fan, i'll never stop going to their gigs.
@@miamillypoppy that’s cool! Im glad you still enjoy their stuff. Tbh, buddy have always put on an amazing show, the main reason I stopped seeing biffy was probably more to do with the crowd. I remember biffy gigs at the barrows, king tuts etc, where you came out looking like you had jumped in a swimming pool. The atmosphere was immense. The last time I saw them there were folk in coats and high heels, holding a handbag on their forearm as if they were on a night out at a bar. It was weird. And the thing is…they probably came out fine because the crowd didn’t really move much. Might have been a bad one off, but it just put me off.
@@richburnsred I'll second that it was far too mellow and the pit was like the shittiest pit I'd ever seen compared to the previous times I'd seen them 🔥
@@miamillypoppy they did that a few years ago when they did 3 nights at the barras playing all the old albums plus a mix of some new stuff wish they would do that again 🔥

Was it just me or was the volume on architects so low until they played animals? 🤦🏼♂️
Feels like the volume usually is turned down a bit before the headliners 🔥

Oh you are absolutely right although respectfully they had to coordinate their setlists so the tour would work 🔥

Pretty sure I was standing about 5ft behind you haha
Haha brilliant 🔥
This huge giant stage set up really sucks though. They’re so far away from everyone! They need to be up close and all rocking out together!!!
unfortunately though it's not Tut's or the Barras so had to make up for it
Mon the biffy. I was expecting heavier from architects though
Eh?
Me too but had to balance out the set I suppose 🙄🔥
