I love how you can measure Astarion's level of discomfort by the amount of needless sass he's giving the player character. Dude just can't express serious concern for you until way later in the relationship, even if he seems to want to.

@@amistiel I guess I always tend to default to do things the vampire is more than fine with xD In my first playthrough, it took until the tiefling party for him to come on to me, whereas now, the man seems to be unable to keep it in his pants around my Tavs and Durges. But I love that line from him, to be honest, even if it means getting rejected by him 😂

@@amistiel He's honestly a handful, from what I could see when my friend was romancing him, but he is very fun, too xD My paladin tav had her sword hovering over his shoulder throughout the entire act 3 because he kept trying to manipulate my friend's Tav into helping him achieve godhood. 😂(Nevermind that her boyfriend wanted to sacrifice 7000 souls for a similar prize. He actually caught a divine smite early in act 3 for that)
@@amistiel yeah, it's his "bad" ending where he keeps the crown to himself rather than giving it to Mystra. Obviously that's an interesting option, our characters were just too good-aligned to let him do it xD

Astarion has a tendency to pretend he doesn't care, especially when he does. You can *kind of* tell he is actually concerned because the "You look drained" sounds serious and then he immediately follows it up with "And I know it wasn't me" in a joking tone. "See how much I care" is Astarion's go-to attitude when he's uncomfortable or nervous about something.
Of course…. “I don’t travel with you for your personality”, means he loves you. I don’t want to destroy illusions, but I had him saying that even if i didn’t romance him :D
hah, he's joking, naturally - he needs protection and travels with you romanced or not :) but it is extra sweet when romancing him - like he's covering up his concern with jokes 😌

Aaww, thank you so much! No, i don't think i got any additional mods for that - only hair and outfits. The game does look better though in comparison to my old PC (had to upgrade few months ago since it died too often - couldn't handle Mr. Starry 🤣). Since then I also lost all files and saves from my first full completed run-through and decided to start uploading my favorite moments to youtube, so I can re-live them anytime without fear of losing it all again 🥲
Mods :) Basket full of equipment and Astarion's gear - I'm not certain I saw what Gale is wearing anywhere in game otherwise, Durge is wearing Orin's armor, Astarion is wearing some rogue/guard (may be variant of harpers clothing), Wyll is wearing Gortash's armor.
This was supposed to be approval based. That line was for low neutral approval. In the datamined scene when you say that isn't funny why high approval Astarion actually apologizes and tell Tav they will protect them.

@@amistiel Usually of you don't start a playthrough with mods they'll load just fine. If you remove mods mid playthrough that will conflict. You have the script extender and one that puts Astarion's other pre kiss lines and some others on Nexus. I think some people are even working on mods that restore scenes from other characters like Shadowheart

that would be quite a major-league-banger to start with :)))) 🔥 one has to have a reasonable PC/laptop or console that can run it, it's very enjoyable, amazing graphics and story-telling... however it's time-consuming (i.e. you cannot usually just play for 30min-1h and stop, this one requires a 2h+ sessions at a time - but therefore not every day) at least for me, to get into story and enjoy it, i usually take b/w 2-4 hour per "gaming session" whenever I can manage 😅😁
apparently a sorcerer only can trigger it - also didn't know, since I only made one play-through till the end and it was sorcerer and now second reaching that location is also a sorcerer 😅
i think (like 99%) it was "Silver's Hair Pack 2" i tried those popular long styles but they bug out so badly due to their length, so decided to stick with something easier for game to handle 😊

I went from myconid colony - towards that lost husband and instead of climbing down and going to save him - went to look at shiny sussur tree, when I approached there were some mobs triggering fight, but I waited until they looked the other way and went to pick up the flower. that's when it cut to this scene. hope it works! I had high (or very high) approval with astarion and romancing him, Tav's a sorcerer.
