Nicole,the top on the tree canister can be twisted back around so it’s back in its right place. Just unsnap it and twist the metal ring and glass top until it’s where it needs to be!!! Love ya!!!!

I love playing cards, too. I pick them up whenever I see them. Some can be really valuable, but I'm like you....I don't know much about them. I bought a couple of books to try and help me with identification, but they are packed away right now. There is a society of collectors, or something of the like, that you could look into.
For the handkerchief display the fabric looks thin so if you put some very white fabric behind it, it will show off the decorations on the front better. Then you could put a red or blue fabric or paper behind that for matted look. The little nature lock has some awesome pictures in it. If it is not copyrighted you could copy some for making ornaments or enlarge some and frame them. So beautiful!
Use to love those Kakuna (sp?) crocks growing up in the Chicago area. I wish my mom had saved all of them as I can't find them in Atlanta (where I've now lived for decades).
They are so neat! Several people have expressed interest in them. If I start to find duplicates I might list some on my Etsy shop. But only if I find ones I already have ha ha Ha!

Your Franciscan mugs were made in England between 1984 and 2009, the time period between when Franciscan was first sold to Wedgewood England and before Wedgewood sold the line to a holding company which moved manufacturing to China. I think today only Desert Rose, Apple and maybe the Ivy patterns are made in China. I’ve loved Franciscan since my teenage years in the 70s and have a set of original USA Desert Rose and also the 1970s ‘Nut Tree’ pattern. They made so many gorgeous patterns. I wish more people cared about and had knowledge of our history. Over 400,000 US soldiers died and over 600,000 injured in WWII. I'm not trying to be mean about you not knowing. Both my grandfathers served during WWII.

On the tree canister, you can turn the metal rings around to where ever you need. The top will turn if you open the latch first.
I agree turtleladi , I have several of this type of glass wire jars and all you do is open the lid and turn the jars.

I like crocks. The leaf mugs are cute. I use to have alot of leaf pattern dishes. I saw one Victory handkerchief online from WW1.

Honestly I just run them through my dishwasher unless they are delicate in which case I use hot water and dawn dish detergent.
