Those MN shaped stickers are cute! I love the green Franciscan dishes. 100% agree on our Goodwill prices. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that.
Did you hear me call out to you? Nicole please get the snow man. Get the snow man Nicole. Saw some nice things. That clear glass vase at the goodwill(not the bins) had hearts going around the rim was pretty. I dont usually decorate for Valentine's day, but i would use that. I would be very willing to buy chipped or craked snowmen from you. I have a snowman hospital. I get snowmen that need repaired and fix them up. I use to do that with dolls too. The snowmen i adopt and keep. The dolls and other toys are given away to a good home.
Omg loved the snowman and the opalescent bowl, too bad it was chipped 😕. I would have loved those elephants for my co-worker if they weren’t chipped. I can’t wait to try the bins in California! There were some great items in those bins. I know you grabbed those robins egg blue dishes 😉. Those grape leaf plates were beautiful. Wow those blue cut glass items 😍. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that they won’t sell you the item if it’s not marked! If they want to get rid of stuff just slap a price on it! What a beautiful music box!
Every time I watch your videos I wish we would get a Goodwill Bins by me. Even my regular Goodwills (which have improved lately) aren't nearly as good as yours. I have that milk glass vase also.
Oh my gosh, the dark green patterned Franciscan dishes you found are the gorgeous Madeira pattern. I just picked up almost a full set of 6 place settings plus serving pieces for only $18 at a thrift store in New Richmond, WI. Always fun to go thrifting with you. Thanks for taking us along!
The hutch is just beautiful!. I think (if it were my kitchen) I would paint the table base and chairs black and distress them back just a bit. That way they will not just blend into the background of the white wallsand wil compliment the hutch.. You bring in pops of white an dcreams for spring iand summer with doilies scarves andhankies long with your plates/vases etc. But whatever you decide to do it will look REALY cute!!
Hi Nicole!!! I THINK I spotted a pewter plate when you were at the bins... I was hoping you'd see it... it's amazing how the prices differ from gw to gw... some of those prices were what I would consider retail!!! I WISH my gw would sell plates seperately... but if they are in a set you have to buy them all... thanks for taking us along... cant wait to see what you picked up!!! 😊❤🍒
Wait. Wait. Wait. Was that bunny a cotton ball dispenser? LOL How cute. That snowman is adorable. The bins are so much fun. I'm thinking about starting to sell on Etsy. I already sell on eBay, Mercari, and Poshmark. But with the amount of vintage pieces I pick up am wondering if I should take the plunge and do Etsy as well. That box of foil ornaments you showed, we had some of those when I was growing up too. I'd love to find some just for nostalgia. Our Goodwills never have sales, never give coupons, don't do any loyalty programs... They went through a period of insane prices but now you see items that have set for a while that have one or two stickers placed over the original to try to move them. I was happy to finally score an awesome mid century lion that I'll show soon. It was like $8 in the beginning and came down to $3. Some things are still overpriced though. Apparently salt and pepper shakers are gold in their eyes lol Those blue dishes were truly stunning. Nice platter. TFS, girlie. Have a fabulous day!
I was selling on eBay and Etsy. I’ve actually sold on eBay for years and years. But I just don’t like it. And people don’t always pay. And people can troll you on there pretty easily.
@@NicoleNorthgarden Thank you. I've sold on eBay off and on since 1998 but just got serious about it last year. I'm currently dealing with a no-pay case. Ugh. Why do people do that. It's so annoying. I'm definitely going to try Etsy.
Oh my! That Johnson Bro’s china with the grape leaves I have been searching for that for years! I have one dinner plate only and have never found another. The pattern is called called Vintage!!! How perfect is that? I’m not a green person but for that...I make an exception!
Hi Nicole, not sure if you are into or selling Mexican Pottery, but right around your 12:45 mark, there’s a Mexican bird plate probably painted by Ken Edwards. These can go for good money and resell quickly. Signed is better of course 😉 I come across a good amount here in MN 😊👍 PS, slim pickings at Goodwill for me too this past few weeks and the bins 👎🏻
Your filming skills while rummaging through the bins is impressive. The Denby dishes at the Goodwill were nice. I worked at a gift shop in highschool and we sold Denby. That stuff was expensive.
Wow, your GW is like our Value Village, expensive 😳 I like the concept of the Bins, but can see how it could get expensive since it's by weight. Can't wait to see your finds 😉 Oh, I am wondering how you can tell what's Iron Stone? I know I have one piece that is, only because a friend told me, but she wasn't sure how to tell what is and isn't either 🤔 Thanks for taking us along 🤗💖
Nicole Northgarden I know I swear I could feel my face freezing and cracking the section I went out this afternoon after work! But I still hit 2 thrift stores too 🤣🤣🥰
I had no idea what Denny was until this video lol! Darn. I wish I had known. Something else to keep on my list of things to watch for! Thank you for the information.
I'm so interested to know about your list of things you're looking for in 2020. How many items are on your list? Do you think you can find them all at a good price? What's your number one item you're searching for? Some of the things I'm looking for are Bavarian hand painted plates; (My husband and I are part German.) Some beer steins; a start to some nice white dishes; donkey figurines, vintage cooking utensils, vintage holiday décor; some Golden books, etc.
That’s a great idea to include in a video! I’ll share my list next weekend. Thanks for sharing yours! I would say my number one thing is always Jadeite :) and more recently thermoses!
I agree. If I dig through the clothes my allergies go crazy. My daughters like to dig through but I can’t do it. Only the hard goods for me. Also my hubby just asked me if I want to go to the bins tomorrow Hahaha! He misses going lol!
Enjoyed this video very much, Nicole. Can you believe the things that Goodwill pulls? That is awful. They would sell so much more , and bring in more money, if they didn't anger their customers, and also ask ridiculous prices. THey get the stuff FREE, for Pete's sake!
I'm pretty sure that all of us who shop at Goodwill agree that they're overpriced, and do shady things like changing price tags. My local Goodwill just simply removes all of the color of the day tags (I had an employee tell me so!). My store's lowest price point is $1.18 and I see a ton of dollar tree items for $1.18 and $1.98. I mean, this stuff is all DONATED, the shelves are so cram-packed full that it's hard to see anything, and they still have the audacity to overprice everything. I stopped shopping there for a long time, but most of the other thrift stores in my area are raising their prices as well, so it's hard to find a bargain anywhere anymore. AND THEN...to see all the stuff that ends up in the bins??? They seriously need to get a clue about their whole process. Okay...enough ranting. LOL I always enjoy your shop alongs. Thanks for sharing.
That is just awful! I can’t believe they do that. It makes sense, because I can never find the right color tag but I hear actual confirmation that they do that is awful!
Did you see the brown transfer ware plates at the first goodwill. I gasped! 😂 Also, I just reported one of your commenters. Absolutely disgusting. Some people are so gross. 🤢
Always enjoy window shopping through the telly, lol, thanks.
A is for the shop along baby!! I really enjoyed it! 😘😘😘😘😘
Oh my goodness! I can’t believe how many videos you have. 😂 Lucky me.
Great video, many beautiful stuff I lovet thanks for sharing.
I so love getting to thrift shop thru your adventures ❤️, you always find the best stuff!
Those MN shaped stickers are cute! I love the green Franciscan dishes. 100% agree on our Goodwill prices. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks that.
Those awesome blue and gold dishes were beautiful.
Thanks for the narration as you shop. I loved the tour through the bins and the stores! Thanks for sharing!
I hope it’s helpful to know what I’m thinking as I shop. Thanks for watching!

You are so funny! I will remember to pick up more snowmen lol.
Cool shop a long!! Lots of goodies to look at!! Can't wait to see your haul video 😊
I switched the schedule a little so the haul will go up on Sunday :)
Omg loved the snowman and the opalescent bowl, too bad it was chipped 😕. I would have loved those elephants for my co-worker if they weren’t chipped. I can’t wait to try the bins in California! I hope the bins have lots of treasures for you!
Loved those grape leaf dishes !!!!
Weren’t they gorgeous?
I would have loved to buy that Jewelry box at the end for someone special. Thank you for letting us thrift with you.
Love that vintage snowman! I will be on the lookout for vintage Christmas all year too!
It’s definitely a favorite thing to find!
You find the best things, and I love the crafts you make with some of them!
Thank you! I’m putting up a DIY tomorrow :)
Every time I watch your videos I wish we would get a Goodwill Bins by me. Even my regular Goodwills (which have improved lately) aren't nearly as good as yours. I have that milk glass vase also.
I hope you get a chance to go to the bins some day! It’s definitely an experience lol! I’m a fan!
That’s such a great price!
Love seeing what is in your thrift stores and what you end up getting. I am going to try to go thrifting more often but I only go on sale day.
Yes that’s a good strategy!
Beautiful Dishes!
I live in Minnesota and did not know were a Goodwill outlet bins was located. May need to make a trip to the Cities.
Yes! There is one in Brooklyn Park I believe, one near Saint Paul, and one in Chaska which is in the western suburbs.
The hutch is just beautiful!. I think (if it were my kitchen) I would paint the table base and chairs black and distress them back just a bit. The Franciscan plates sell pretty good. It’s the Madeira line. 6 plates wrap well in the 20 dollar priority box.
Oh! Great info! Thanks Joan!

Some of the prices at the goodwill stores here are bonkers! I don’t know what they are thinking! Bummer about the pewter!!
That was fun! We don't have bins nearby and GW prices are getting too high. So nice to tag along with you! 😊😊 Looking forward to your next video!
Thank you! I know I said Tuesday but I switched the schedule around so the haul for this will go up Sunday :)

I thought the same thing about the bunny!! I would have gotten it just for the cute factor lol. A “cotton” tail bunny!! 😊
I was selling on eBay and Etsy. I’ve actually sold on eBay for years and years. But I just don’t like it. And people don’t always pay. And people can troll you on there pretty easily.
Sorry, I hit enter too soon. I think you should give Etsy a try. It’s a different market. But vintage really sells well.
@@HeatherS1955 Agreed. Too cute!

Love that lantern at the beginning and I need that bunny candle! You know you got me hooked on those candles right!!?? Happy weekend! ❤️❤️
Thanks for Sharing your videos whit us TH-cam sister ❤👍
Those blue dishes toward the end were stunning.
Weren’t they??!!
Oooh the silver crest plates for a Valentines table!! They resemble the ruffles on old heart candy boxes💕💕💕
They totally do!
Oh my! That Johnson Bro’s china with the grape leaves I have been searching for that for years! I have one dinner plate only and have never found another. The pattern is called called Vintage!!! How perfect is that? I’m not a green person but for that...I make an exception!
Oh wow! Yes I had never seen that pattern before!
Love the snowman at the bins.
I do look for the autumn leaf dishes, my mother had it when we were small
That was fun!!! I got my thrift fix today. Lol.
Haha good! Thanks for watching Joan!

I completely missed it! I was distracted by the silvercrest lol!
Your filming skills while rummaging through the bins is impressive.
The Denby dishes at the Goodwill were nice. I worked at a gift shop in highschool and we sold Denby. That stuff was expensive.
Oh darn! I did not know about Denby until you all told me about it in this video. Well something else to add to my list to look for ha ha Ha.
TFS!
we want more of theseeeee
Lol Okee :)
I still have entire set for 8 of the Franciscan dinner were. They are from 1967. That's when I bought them. Would have been good for FB market place.
Neat! I never was able to sell them. I had them priced low too. Who knows! I can never predict what will go or not.
I hope you picked up that sweet salt shaker that was missing her mate ❤ Looking forward to the haul video 😁
Wow, your GW is like our Value Village, expensive 😳 I like the concept of the Bins, but can see how it could get expensive since it's by weight.

Totally overpriced! That’s why I like going to the bins!
It was wicked cold here today so thanks for braving the wind and cutting cold. 🥶🥶🧊❄️♥️
It’s soooo cold!!
Nicole Northgarden I know I swear I could feel my face freezing and cracking the section I went out this afternoon after work! But I still hit 2 thrift stores too 🤣🤣🥰
Great thrifting❤❤❤!
I don't really go thrifting but I was surprised at how high some of the prices were at Goodwill! But you always seem to find the deals! 😀
Oh my goodness the goodwill stores around here have just gotten outrageous with their prices
I saw a complete set of dinnerware in the wheat and pastel yellow pattern yesterday at our Salvation Army.
They’re so pretty!
At 12:23 you featured a set of Denby dinnerware. This is a quality brand that is highly collectible.
I had no idea what Denny was until this video lol! Darn. I wish I had known. Something else to keep on my list of things to watch for! Thank you for the information.

I love the chicken wire baskets, I use them all over my house. I do live on a farm 😜🥰
Saw so many things I would have had to have.
love thrifting new friend Ruthie
Just wondering can you put insense type liquid on them balls
Hm. I’m not sure!
😊
What about selling some of the heavier items on Facebook marketplace?🤓
I definitely have thought about that. To be honest I don’t have a ton of time for reselling.
I've gotten quite find of johnson bros
Such lovely patterns!
❤
It's a shame they won't price things for you if sticker is missing....it doesn't make sense. Our goodwills here will.
Isn’t that a bummer?! That vase would look so nice with my other one. I also have a really large one. I love the swung vases!
Hi, 👍👍🙏🏽🤗
the bins we have here in Michigan are not hard goods very disappointing I just don’t like digging through clothing that way
I agree. If I dig through the clothes my allergies go crazy. My daughters like to dig through but I can’t do it. Only the hard goods for me. Also my hubby just asked me if I want to go to the bins tomorrow Hahaha! He misses going lol!

I did see them! So pretty!
Love to see bins. I would have bought so much. Wear gloves. Too many sharp objects
I’m careful :) Hard to dig and film with gloves!
