Groms are soo damn fun. I looooove mine. Love my Rebel 1100, and my CB50r, but the grom is sooooo fun. Hopefully adding the 2022 grom to the garage this year as well.

You won’t regret it trust me! I put a deposit on the 2022 Grom sp and I’m selling my 2018 CBR1000rr SP. I’m tired of the big bike and it’s honestly not fun on the street which is most of the riding that I do. The only fun I had on my CBR was at track days.

I live in the land where they are built. They are called the MSX here. I bought a mint 2015 MSX with 800 miles on it for $800. For another $100, I turned it into a 150cc screamer with some added customized mods. I mothballed my other cycles and the MSX is my daily driver. Everything for a Grom/MSX is so CHEAP here. Oh no on the new models, love the OG model! That bike has ton of mods, it's a steal at that price in your market.
As a fan of your channel I hope you buy the Grom. Would make for awesome content. For example learning wheelies, riding off the beaten paths, modding if you desire.
Buy it, bro. I own a 2021 Monkey and Rebel 1100 DCT and, while others have said you'll tire of it, I say the opposite. It's the ultimate toy, and that's how you've got to regard it. Have fun and whip it around and do all the shiz you'd never do on your Rebel. My only cautionary advice is not to ride in traffic. Because it's so small and you're so low, people who don't know better think it's a moped and give you no respect. You just need to be hyper-vigilant about your visibility.

Resale value don't drop much from msrp on them groms. the fact that it has all them upgrades and low miles ... its breaking in period is 500... if you don't buy it I will !

In my country (Cambodia), its price is only around 1000$ brand new(2020/2021). So it's no reason for me to not get it one😹, now mine (2016) is 50000km but its engine still damn good.

So with all the upgrades, you're basically paying $5 for the bike. In that condition, with those miles (My 6 weeks old Rebel 500 is pushing 2900km...) it would be nuts to pass it up or think you could find a better/cleaner/cheaper one. And buying from someone you know is always a bonus. Honestly, if it's your thing and you can afford it, why not? Looks well loved, why are they getting rid of it?

I’m not fond of the new style either. I think the 2017-2020 is the best body style of them all. BUT with that said, I like the features of the new Grom and I’m sure the style will grow on me. I’m not a fan of the sticker kits personally just because I like a cleaner look. I had thought about getting the white model that comes with the gold wheels, and swapping the fairings for all black so that it would be black and gold...I still may have to try doing that 🤔
Hey berch. Any advice. I have a 2018 model with 2700 miles on it. No issues works perfect, no noises ticks, white or blue smoke. I went on a 150 mile ride this past weekend. FOT 90 percent of the time. Came home checked oil. Damm oil was low but when I first left was normal. Mind u oil was dirty and about 108 that day. Any advice
I had a little Grom in 2015. I had just sold my V-Star 950 & thought a Grom would be fun to kick around town on. I was wrong. The Grom’s seat itself is a pubic bone destroyer, it’s seating position leans you too far forward, it’s tiny wheels give no stability @ 45 mph & the vibration in the handlebars at that speed is ridiculous.

If I had $2850, I'd buy that Grom right this minute! You mentioned more than once about the bike being underpowered but what did you expect it's basically a street legal toy. I would not attempt to take one of these on the highway. And absolutely not on the interstate.

personally id get a new one and do the mods myself. they are about $3500 for new. sure that one has some mods you like but do you love them? are you not going to change anything? Mods are some of the fun of owning a bike.

There's a million factors to consider. The one thing is for sure when it comes to the manufacturer's... you can't go wrong with a well maintained Honda.

For a 125 cc bike and previously owned I wouldn't give this much, now he definitely included some off the upgrade prices but this is up to you to decide.. It's a no for me..

I dunno... seems like a very limited bike at 125cc. I know you got the Rebel 1100, but that Grom is going to be very limited on where you can ride it - like 25-35 mph roads, mayyyyyybe a 45 mph road if you ring it out to hell and back? LOL, look at a Royal Enfield Himalayan - at least it is 411cc, not fast, but has pretty good low end torque and you can go to a favorite taco spot and then go find a dirt road/trail to ride somewhere.
Nah it’s Grom or nothing! I’d be buying it specifically for “Grom activities” aka hooligan stuff, exploring, learning wheelies, etc. Fortunately with these mods it’ll do 60mph easily! I already tested it 😂 The owner said that with a tailwind he’s gotten it up to a whopping 63mph lol
It seems like you like the bike but you’re not full throttle on the speed I wouldn’t pay that much money unless I was 100% happy and perfect with his bike.
The new 2021 (or 2022 whatever it is) isn’t available yet or else I would’ve! But even then I’d be spending drastically more for something that’s still bone stock...and that I’d feel bad about thrashing the way a Grom is meant to be thrashed 😂
I suppose you could find a used CR250 for the same price. Maybe a KLR250? The KLX300 seems like a great all around putter. If I was going to spend money on a puttaround I would like to be able to explore more than streets.

Every motorcyclist needs a Grom. If you can’t have fun on a Grom you are doing something wrong. They’re really fun for jumping those speed bumps.
