Good Video! I am team Noise. but you dont need to merge the painting. you can do two methods. 1) take a snapshot. by (ctrl+Shft+alt+e) and then add noise. or 2) Just make a layer in the top filled with a cool light brown and just add the noise to that layer and make it soft light at 40%
