i will defend tag 2 til death.. complete roster, including doctor b and alex the raptor,, and okay competitive game if you ignore the tag mechanics and just play solo vs solo, 1 character vs 1 character.
TTT2 still my fav Tekken of all time. It was definitely the most awesome from a combat point of view with all the amazing and creative moves and combinations and even some of the customization, character interactions etc. Followed by Tekken 3 (El Classico) and Tekken 5. Tekken 7 almost made me feel like maybe I no longer like tekken games coz it felt like the least Tekken game out of all the ones I played. But I do enjoy Tekken 8 a lot more than 7 since Tekken 8 is essentially Tekken 7 with a proper budget.
so the first drop in sales was actually TTT1, and that was because it came out on PS2 that cost $600 which is like 1k in todays money, so there were WAY less consoles floating around.
If the sales of the game are impacting the development negatively then tekken should stay niche, I don’t care as much about sales of how well the game is doing in the esports scene.
