Hidden Gems: St Monica

The first stop on our virtual summer road trip is St. Monica Catholic Church. This "hidden gem" in the Archdiocese of Mobile isn't so hidden because many of the church's beautiful mosaics can be seen from the road. However, a look inside reveals there is much more to see.

I attended school at St. Monica's, and we attended mass in the church daily. Such a beautiful place. Amazing mosaics.

We occasionally attend the Filipino Mass at St. Monica's. This is a beautiful Church with mosaics. But my favorite is the Last Supper carved into the Altar.
