I really like when you build cars that are a little outside your comfort. Speed / handling instead of the other way around. You drive better when you have a setup thats not your normal go to

Gliscor's 70's Celica is a sister to the 1976 Corolla Sport Coupe Deluxe I drove for years. 2TC motor with a 4-speed. Only thing I put on it were wider tires and wheels. And the fuel cell was located behind the rear seat, on the front shelf of the trunk. Hence the filler on the C-pillar.
No kidding? 70's 911's were pretty quick. Now the 912's on the other hand... glorified Beetles. I had one so I know. On the other hand a Turbo Carrera in the 70's was a beast and it was still technically a 911. I would think that is what not failed to beat an ancient Bugatti.
@Ron-l9d yeah, if I remember what I heard correctly, it's a close contest, but the Bugatti won it... Thing is, these 1920s-1930s Grand Prix cars were supercharged, and run on alcohol fuel, and they were light, the Bugatti, if I remember correctly, only weighs around 900 or so kilograms all in. So they really weren't slow, on a straight line at least... In the early 2000s, I read that a magazine pitted a Porsche 911 GT2 (or was it a GT3) RS, against some old Grand Prix cars, namely, a 1930s ERA R4D, a Lotus 16 from 1959, and an early 1960s Cooper (or was it a Brabham), each cars doing a number of laps at Donington Park... The Porsche beat ERA R4D by 4 seconds, but upon analysis, the Porsche gained the time under braking and in the corners, what with it having much better brakes and tires than the 1930s racer. But, under acceleration, the old ERA can match anything the Porsche can throw at it. Though I must also note, the ERA is a different monster altogether. Even as a 1.5 litre Voiturette category car, it is quick enough to leave a Type 35B, and R4D has a 2 litre engine with a massive supercharger. One former owner of R4D recalled fighting cars that were 20 years younger in a race at Dijon with it, clocking up to 162mph down the main straight!

Yeah. It does get kinda old seeing Alex always going for grippy cars
He should drive nothing but drift cars until he masters it....
@jlee2009100 I know he enjoys cars that corner well, and he can drive what he wants, but it obviously isn't working.
He needs to be more aggressive in his overtaking attempts. He stays behind slower cornering cars too long.

You should do build cars that start with the same letter as your name. Alex - Aston Martin. Shadow - Subaru etc
any chance we will be seeing the highest end of cars s1, s2, x classes in longer endurance style races?
Impega driving jimmy Broadbents bmw is pretty cool

Fun fact: theres a story that a Bugatti Type 35B was pitted against a 1970s Porsche 911 in a drag race...
