I was recently gifted this model, I've always had propane before but after getting it to work as good as yours I love it so much I want to light it for fun almost daily. I could never have imagined how much enjoyment I would get with a stove. I can hardly wait to take it camping.
I just spent about an hour and a half tinkering with repairing the needle valve on a 425F and it is now burning beautifully - I think I paid $15 for it at the Flea Market so I'm pretty Stoked about that. A couple of tricks I discovered was: The needle being fully seated in the little swagged end is critical - put the Jet end on Last - it allows you to verify the needle is perfectly centered and gently twist the jet onto it. When I was placing the needle in from the back with the jet on I kept bending it or having trouble with its alignment in the Jet nozzle and would have to take it apart and do it again. Thanks for the Video! It definitely helped me fix my stove! 😀 👍
I haven't read all the comments so this may be a repeat. Rust is very common on the inside of the tank. There used to be an old guy near me, 30 years ago, that ran a surplus store with a small section of used Coleman stoves. He gave me a tip to get the rust out of the tank. He said pour in about a hundred BB's in a dry tank then add 12 or so ounces of kerosene. Put the cap on and shake until you can't shake any more. Pour everything out, clean the BB's and repeat. Eventually the kerosene and BB's will come out fairly clean. Also, I notice you don't take your thumb off the pump hole while you pull the shaft out. My dad, and now I do the same, always uncovered that hole in the end of the pump shaft on the out stroke and covered it on the in stroke. You can get better pressure quicker. I'm still using the one we had when I was a kid waaaay back in the early 50's. Great video. Thanks
I just picked up a 1966 Coleman 421 which looks like it has been sitting in a barn for 20 years. I found my .22 rifle cleaning rod fit the generator tube perfectly. I used brush, jag and patch and cleaned it up like new using WD40. I'm doing a full restoration on the unit. Your video is very helpful, thanks.
Just won a bid on an 85 425F, same as yours. Prices are going up, but it it, what it is. Wanted an older one to go with the new one. Sa,e with getting a lantern.
Best stove ever! I've got 2 of them. One is from the early '70s when I was a child. The other one I got at a garage sale for $15. I started casting bullets with one of these stoves. They get extremely hot. Whenever I go camping, the younger guys ( 21-26 year olds) are blown away by the fact that these stoves are not propane operated. I still have the fold away Coleman oven that you set on top. My ol' man made a lot of biscuits in that oven. Thanks for sharing!
I picked up a 424 for $3:50 on eBay. It leaked fuel and caught on fire. Burned my table to the ground. Everyone laughed Stove survived, burned the knob. Fixed the leak, good to go.
Coleman makes the best portable cooking stoves in my opinion. They are super easy to operate, an maintain.A lot of thier success is the basic design , it’s remained much the same over45yrs. If something works so great for many years, why change it? An you can still buy parts for them or find a trashed out one an use it for replacement parts. Coleman is the BEST!!!!!!
Thankyou for this video. I have same model and the main burner was running poorly. I disassembled mine as you did. Found the spring and jet both gunked up...i soaked these in vinegar to clean and reassembled. Solved the problem runs great now.
A friend gave me a stove which looks almost identical , but I wasn't certain of the model . This video answered a lot of questions and is much appreciated . Thanks very much .
Thank you so much for your advice on these stoves. I have two, a single and a double burner stove. I recently went on a trip and fired them up before I went but they let me down. After watching you video I cleaned them and gave them a a bit of TLC and now they are working just fine.
Nice video. I have model 425E (the one made before your model) that I have used for 50 years now. It's great. It's virtue is its simplicity. I've had to repaint it as it rusted, change its leather pump washer, and, of course, the generators (the long metal tube that goes across the primary burner) as they aged and got rusted or clogged up. I've always used Coleman fuel (white gasoline), but I've seen others using regular leaded or unleaded automotive gasoline in them in other countries where white gas was not available. I'm told you can take the generators apart and clean them out to get them going again if you have been using automotive gas. It's something those prepper people should keep in mind. The nearly identical newer model 424 is designed to also burn automotive gasoline as well with its improved generator (but it's not recommended). The generators are not interchangeable. I've tried. There are some safety issues as well. If you leave the flame on a very low simmer level, it can flame out since there is not enough heat to continue vaporizing the liquid fuel. And then the raw gasoline will pool in the bottom of the case. That is very unsafe. It has happened to me once. Also, as an experiment, I've run mine on kerosene. It works, but priming is very difficult, and if the valve is set too low, a flame-out is very likely. Also if you set the valve too high it will flare up as the fuel does not get properly vaporized. I expect something like charcoal lighter fluid would perform the same way. Gasoline (white or not) is much better. What I like about my 425 is one of those small and simple propane adapters I can keep stored in the case where one can use the small one-pound propane bottles that you can find just about anywhere in the US. They work pretty well. There is no need to buy another propane Coleman stove. Be safe.
I have a 425 E, date on the tank is 7/71. Bought it new when we first started camping. That little stove has been, and still is, a workhorse over the years. Not only for camping. Often used it for backyard family reunions and such. Back in the mid-1970's, cooked on it for a month while it was sitting on my non-working electric kitchen stove (electrical contractor foul up). It's served us well when storms took down the grid over the years, as well. Today, it's on my to-do list, to make sure it's ready for the approaching ice storm season. Thanks for sharing some good advice. Like you, I also have the propane adapter. One more thing to add to your "425 kit" is a stick lighter, if you haven't already. Prefer them over using a Bic or kitchen matches to light the stove. Again, thumbs up.
I found one like this in a thrift store for $10 the other day. Had the same problem, just didn't know it till I watched your video! Went through the same procedures, and got it fired up, ready for ice fishing!! Lol, I was the same happy!!! Good video, very helpful.
Brother I am in love!...She is younger than me but still experienced...I'm a 67 model...lol. Yep that is what the problem was is the liquid black just needed removed...it gums up the jet and the orifice needle just couldn't cope with that amount of gum...so to speak. Too much oil in the pipe...lol. I'd say that you have the best deal in the universe next to free, and if it weren't for the shipping...well it would have been a complete steal! I love old Colemans and plan on getting my hands on one for fun and emergencies...the idea of unleaded fuel being used is really nice. Again I am watching this on the BIG SCREEN and I am just tickled to death...um I mean LIFE...lol.
This was a great score. I hope my MSR lady don't get jealous of my affair with this foxy Coleman. Oh she was cheap, but worth it! Damn that was fun! LOL
I just picked exact stove up at a flea market for 10 bucks and it's in great shape and works awesome!! Just cooked some Italian sausage for lunch! Great video
I bought a 425 E... $6. Watched your vid...Mine works perfectly. Thank you for the run through...now if I begin to have a prob. In the woods I can check the parts you went through.
These stoves are for the most part indestructible :) I have had many that were incredibly beat up, filthy dirty and still worked just fine with some love and care just like you did here! I bet just a new gasket for the cap would work too. Those caps usually are brass and liek much of teh stove very rugged. For some reason these stoves hold a fondness I can't explain. :) I suppose just good memories using them camping etc growing up. Yours looked like it was working perfectly in the end. I guess you can use unleaded gasoline but I have never tried it. I will just stick with the coleman fuel... much cleaner. Subscribed to your channel!
Good deal for $20!. These are simple stoves that will last forever. Keep the repair kit for another project. Looks like somebody used pump gas and it got a bit too gummed up. Gasoline can be used, just need to clean the generator more often. Great vid!
I have the old Coleman stove my parents bought in 1951. It has a round, gold coloured tank that fills on the end. It still works great. I clean the dust & dead bugs out of it, fresh fuel, oil the leather gasket in the pump, & it works perfect every summer.
My dad bought me a brand new one for Christmas around 1980, It came with a cream colored carrying case. Still have it. Then my wife bought me another one from ebay. Love em. Maybe I should get my little collection together and make a video of them. Make get some views off of it.
A little carb cleaner ...two or three squirts in the tank. Then fire it up and let it burn. Cleans the system. Have a 425 and that's all the maintenance I've had to do in 30 years of use.
I have stove just like I love it work my wife don't like it to much she it's to much work to cook on. lol she make me bring our camp stove that takes the little green propane bottle she thinks they are easier to keep going. but me myself when I cook while camping I use my old Coleman stove or open campfire. thanks for video
Thanks for the straight forward well made video. I just picked up a used stove that doesn't start. I'm sure if I do the step by step procedure you did it will work. Years ago I had a three burner that I loved because of the extra space.
Just got a 425B for $15 on offer up yesterday and other than a fill cap gasket( i just ordered a new cap) it runs great when i switched caps from my 530 pocket stove. Its in great condition also, what a steal at $15 and works perfect
That is Awesome Brother that stove looked pretty good shape out of the box I try and pick some these stoves up at Garage Sales around here in summer time for few bucks and old Lanterns to reminds me I need to get me another stove like that !
Plumpy E I have several of these old stoves and they all work great. I have so many childhood memories out camping with stoves like this. in fact, I don't know of anyone who doesn't have a memory with the stove like this. Thank you for stopping by my brotha, Merry Christmas!
Good video and great purchase. Nice blue flame with clean air tubes. I'm working on a 413c stove that has more leaks than a dog has flees. So it looks like you got a good one. Also enjoy all your other videos... Thanks from Texas
You might trying taking apart the burners and cleaning them good. that will make them easier to burn. just take the screw out of the center and remove the plates. Carefully buff them on a wire wheel and resemble in the same order you took them apart. It helps noticeably, I have done this to 6 or 7 vintage Coleman stoves I own.
Great video. I bought a 424 new (125 euro) with a grey tank. I like the red color tank much better. You can get them here (Netherlands) cheap on second hand sites. But you have to restore them. Most of the times it's a cleaning thing or a broken generator. Pump leather is often dried out. Good luck with your Coleman.
Very nice buy. Always a gamble but you did well. I was given an old 2 burner coleman stove. 416 or something like that. Had to convert it to butane. To expensive for a new tank, value, regulator, this and that. Bought a butane setup and never looked back. And NO LIQUID FUEL!!!! Just those green bottles that I easily refill. My stove is pretty beat up and looks like shit but will fire up every time. Make sure to clean REAL GOOD that U shaped tube the fuel nozzle fits in. And down the tube to the 2nd burner. Bugs love building webs and nests in those spaces. Ya did real good on yours. I have a Coleman 275 lantern (turd) with a bad shrader value. Cant get it out and turning into a real pain. Hate to trash it because of a cheap shrader value? Oh well. Anyway, good video brother. Peace from Texas
Cool I have lots of Coleman stoves I also came across recently a 1997 two burner Coleman propane stove electronic ignition that I have set up outside and on weekends I'll make coffee out there and enjoy the cool air and a hot cup of coffee
I was wondering who out bid me!! lol. great video. I inherited a 3 burner Coleman from the late 60's. and it still works great.. thanks for sharing brotha.
I have one. And I get for free 😉 this guy he was going to throw it out in the recycle. And I asked him why he didn't wanted no more he said that was a piece of shit he only used 3 times and I said. Can I have it. And he said sure take it. Now I go camping and I get to use my free stove it look brand new too. Some people just don't know what they got.
i always have to pump again after lighting mine. the preheat tube starts to work to atomize the fuel once it gets hot and the burn will be cleaner and more efficient. it should heat up after 2 or 3 minutes with a medium flame. nice find
You gotta try an old 413, they have more space and a towel rack that doubles as a lid stand, allowing you to use the stove wide open. Trust me on this, you will love a 413
I just found one at a local thrift store for $1. I still need to check and clean the generator tube and jet and possibly clean spider webs out of the larger fuel/air tubes, it likes to flame out of the air intake holes but I did eventually get the right burner burning blue. The left burner, almost no flame.
Got an old Sears clone at a yard sale, blue with orange tank. Doesn't work, I expect it will cost more to fix than I paid for it. Ah! the price of nostalgia. The Coleman stove my dad had from the 1950's was a real champ fair weather or foul.
These are simple machines when you said it doesn’t look like it has enough pressure it doesn’t so pump it up. When you mentioned that it didn’t look like it had enough fuel clean the fuel tube out. Like I said these are relatively simple if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it’s probably a duck. If it looks like it’s running out of fuel it probably is, etc. etc. etc.
Victory! Don’t know why I, personally, give a damn but I was pretty thrilled when you got that burner to light after disassembly and cleaning. Based on my personal experiences and research, I’ve become a Coleman fanboy. I think their liquid fuel stoves and lanterns are underrated. I think you scored pretty good on that purchase, dude
I have an old Coleman Stove like that but larger........Ha, I have those spare parts too! I have the large top Coleman lantern and the oven for the top of the stove (thick metal)... good stuff!
I have a couple of them. usually will pick them up a garage/estate sales for 5-10 dollars. For $20 you can get an adapter that will let these run on the little green propane canisters. You can run gasoline in them the way they are or for 35 pick up a new generator and valve for a dual fuel stove. They are great stoves. I get them for my kid so they will have a stove that can run on propane, gas , kerosene or Coleman fuel in cast SHTF.
I know this a long shot and old. I just received one of these stoves, 425F date code 6 83, can coleman gas or gasoline be run in stove a is, not sure what duel fuel means?
Duel fuel by Coleman means it can run RUG (regular unleaded gasoline) or White gas. They are almost the same but the white gas does not have all the additives they put in auto gas. The duel fuel stoves from Coleman have a silver fuel tank. Get an adapter for the little green propane canisters for $20.00, they work well. If it is really cold or you are at altitude, propane does not always work. I have run RUG in a standard Coleman with no real issues. It can dirty the generator/valve from the additives. I clean it with Gumout and a 22 brush. Usually I just get an off brand of White gas at Walmart. It there is an emergency it is good to know RUG will work in it.
Thank you for your reply, my stove has the red tank and been told camp fuel only by one friend and gas can be used so I was trying to get et up before the storm hit us.
don't use unleaded gas, even in the duel fuel stoves/lanterns; its just to filled with additives and ethonal....the gas goes bad in WEEKS now instead of months, it will gum up your gear. buy the off-brand coleman type fuel trust me its worth it to save the cleaning hassles of jets, generatrors
I have a new 424, never been able to get it to stay lit (tried three different times). Yellow pulsating flame is the only option. Will take the tube apart... But my dad's old decades-old one still works fine.
JIUJITSU2000 thanks most people just don’t get it! I should have unboxed it on camera but I was just too excited i thought maybe someone was just using the box to store something else but it was the real deal it had some old coupons and a Coleman mini book of extra Accessories that you could buy
Looks like a score! I have one I've owned for 25 plus years. I have not used it in the last few years because it got temperamental. I'll be taking it apart for a good cleaning now. Thanks.
I asked my mom for the 425 we had for longer I could remember. She told me she tossed it in a truck for the dump.. Obviously I dug it out. Was leaves and stuff but still tried to throw it away!
Update, I loved my 425f during my camping trip last month. I do have a question for you sir. I cannot get it to simmer. If I turn the knob down just before all the way off it starves and flames out. Anything higher and it's stronger than a simmer. Any ideas? I have a new generator. I have not messed with the check valve though it seems to be fine. I have not removed the threaded assembly with the small tube located in the tank. Any thoughts?
Bought one at a garage sale for $7 a a couple of years ago. Looked like it had been used once. Also have a single and a three burner and several Coleman lanterns.
Hey maybe you can verify my concerns with an old model 4m 2 burner with gold coloured round tank. Its probably from the 50's.The filler is on the end of the tank. When last used i filled it completely full with the tank standing upright so really no room for air. When lit it leaked gas continuously out the needle orifice and would not go to a nice blue flame. I believe that due to being far too full what should be vapour coming out the upper hole in the valve is liquid. Does that sound like a reasonable analysis?
Hi Jiujitsu 2000 Just got like new Vintage Coleman Camping Stove ~ 425F My issue with it is that the pump will not pressurize.Took it apart it the seal looks good.Pump will nut push in fully to pressurize when thumb over the hole It's like I didn't turn it counter clock wise.Any suggestions wood be greatly appreciated,
Sounds like you have a closed check valve it's not allowing the air to go through. I would suggest taking the pump out and spraying some carburetor cleaner down and towards the bottom so they can get to the check valve. Let it set for a day and if you have compressed air blow air down there make sure you have eye protection. Most of the time that fixes the problem
I have a newer 425 from the 90s, the tank won’t hold pressure so I replaced the pump on it but that didn’t solve the problem, any ideas what else it could be? I did buy the stansport propane adapter that fits it and it works fine with that, so I know the burner itself is fine . Thanks for any feedback.
I cleaned my old stove myself and the flame has improved quite a bit, however there is continuous flame as well at the junction of the tube and the master burner body. I made sure the end was very tight and still it did not fix it. Any suggestions?
I was recently gifted this model, I've always had propane before but after getting it to work as good as yours I love it so much I want to light it for fun almost daily. I could never have imagined how much enjoyment I would get with a stove. I can hardly wait to take it camping.

Just bought an 425F '85. Doing the exact same thing. Going to try this then give it to my brother in law for his 30th birthday.
That's awesome! These stoves are great!!

nrainfidelforlife bb
nrainfidelforlife we do cornbread in one of their old ovens in a cast iron pan when we make chili at the hunt club. You just can’t beat it
Nice stove and excellent price. I just picked a 414 Dual Fuel Power House stove for $40. Cost is almost $200 new so I’m stoked.
Great I've had this stove 50 years and with your help it works like new
I picked up a 424 for $3:50 on eBay.
It leaked fuel and caught on fire.
Burned my table to the ground.
Everyone laughed
Stove survived, burned the knob.
Fixed the leak,good to go.

Right on. Got mine going with a new check valve. Thanks for the spade bit tip. Saved me $20
We've had one since the late 80's. It has been quite valuable during ice storms and hurricane power outages. Love Coleman 425F stoves!!
I have a 425 F that's probably over 35 years old and is still my go to camping stove.
Thank you so much for your advice on these stoves. I have two, a single and a double burner stove. I recently went on a trip and fired them up before I went but they let me down. After watching you video I cleaned them and gave them a a bit of TLC and now they are working just fine.

Just bought a 425F today for $10 and it’s in great condition and runs perfect! Had that one going and my dads 413G going. Lots of fun!
Exactly what I needed as I seem to have the same problem with a Coleman stove that hasn't been used in years. Thanks.

A .22 caliber brush works good in those tubes.
I was thinking the same thing and will try it . Thanks for your input .
That brought back memories of my Dad catching his shirt on fire cooking pancakes..and Mom taking it all over.
There re so many memories with these stoves!

Saw the thumb nail. Very cool. I bought this brand new around the same year and still have it. I have extra parts too. Good video. Miss using mine!
PAPA Texas these are great stoves! I love them. have several!
I use to collect and fix Coleman Lanterns. But that was years ago.
PAPA Texas I love those too. they're cool! I have a couple
My dad bought me a brand new one for Christmas around 1980, It came with a cream colored carrying case. Still have it. Then my wife bought me another one from ebay. Love em. Maybe I should get my little collection together and make a video of them. Make get some views off of it.
+PAPA Texas I love the old Coleman products. I'm not so much into propane. I love liquid fueled stoves
As always… good job… great how-to video.
A little carb cleaner ...two or three squirts in the tank. Then fire it up and let it burn. Cleans the system. Have a 425 and that's all the maintenance I've had to do in 30 years of use.
That's a nice one you got there. Well maintained, it will probably outlive you and I. These stoves just run forever; literally.
+Apinka Pike Thank you for the kind words and support you give my channel! Have a beautiful day!!
I have stove just like I love it work my wife don't like it to much she it's to much work to cook on. lol she make me bring our camp stove that takes the little green propane bottle she thinks they are easier to keep going. but me myself when I cook while camping I use my old Coleman stove or open campfire. thanks for video
I'm the same way. I prefer the liquid fuel. It seems to burn hotter than propane. Thank you! Merry Christmas!
We just pulled one of these from somewhere in our back garage, gonna give it a try today
Nice, well done, I got a 12 dollar plus shipping 1969 425 on ebay, my experience was nearly identical, great stove, great vid.
Thanks for the straight forward well made video. I just picked up a used stove that doesn't start. I'm sure if I do the step by step procedure you did it will work. Years ago I had a three burner that I loved because of the extra space.
Mine is from 1970 and still works great.
Just got a 425B for $15 on offer up yesterday and other than a fill cap gasket( i just ordered a new cap) it runs great when i switched caps from my 530 pocket stove. Its in great condition also, what a steal at $15 and works perfect
They don't make em like they used to.I enjoyed that vid! Thanks....
I get that feeling every day, looks Ike you got a good deal.👍
Really good video to help me fix my stove. Excellent!!!!!
God Bless, I will tomorrow. =)
what do you clean them with
@ Use baking soda and a steel wool . if thet are caked on you can soak them in hot water with baking soda.
Clean with carburetor cleaner . Let them dry completely and soak in gasoline for a couple days .
+Jason Williams I love them old Coleman's!! I win the bid. LOL... Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Nice score. I gotta get my 413f going.
That's a great find!
Nice video. You did a good job.
I’m glad you got it running!
great video brother that makes me want to go out an hit yard sales God bless have a great day
Thank you! They're great stoves! Merry Christmas!
Survival Preacher Hahaha I was thinking the Exact same thing Sir LoL
I have one. And I get for free 😉 this guy he was going to throw it out in the recycle. And I asked him why he didn't wanted no more he said that was a piece of shit he only used 3 times and I said. Can I have it. And he said sure take it. Now I go camping and I get to use my free stove it look brand new too. Some people just don't know what they got.
i always have to pump again after lighting mine. the preheat tube starts to work to atomize the fuel once it gets hot and the burn will be cleaner and more efficient. it should heat up after 2 or 3 minutes with a medium flame. nice find
good video! thanks for sharing the tips
Good job cant beat the price for sure 👍🏻😀
Got an old Sears clone at a yard sale, blue with orange tank. Doesn't work, I expect it will cost more to fix than I paid for it. Ah! the price of nostalgia. The Coleman stove my dad had from the 1950's was a real champ fair weather or foul.
that's a nice score man colemans rock
These are simple machines when you said it doesn’t look like it has enough pressure it doesn’t so pump it up. When you mentioned that it didn’t look like it had enough fuel clean the fuel tube out. Like I said these are relatively simple if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it’s probably a duck. If it looks like it’s running out of fuel it probably is, etc. etc. etc.
I got mine for 10bucks in a yard sale mint condition im so happy
Victory!
Don’t know why I, personally, give a damn but I was pretty thrilled when you got that burner to light after disassembly and cleaning. Based on my personal experiences and research, I’ve become a Coleman fanboy. I think their liquid fuel stoves and lanterns are underrated. I think you scored pretty good on that purchase, dude
totallyfrozen excellent comment! Thank you
I have an old Coleman Stove like that but larger........Ha, I have those spare parts too! I have the large top Coleman lantern and the oven for the top of the stove (thick metal)... good stuff!
Cmax Arms that's when they used to make great stoves!
Thank you for your reply, my stove has the red tank and been told camp fuel only by one friend and gas can be used so I was trying to get et up before the storm hit us.
don't use unleaded gas, even in the duel fuel stoves/lanterns; its just to filled with additives and ethonal....the gas goes bad in WEEKS now instead of months, it will gum up your gear. buy the off-brand coleman type fuel trust me its worth it to save the cleaning hassles of jets, generatrors
nice buy! Just picked one up for $20 also
Thanks I have been looking into getting me one of this stoves.
great buy, congrats aaand helped fix mine in the meantime, tnx
I have a new 424, never been able to get it to stay lit (tried three different times). Yellow pulsating flame is the only option. Will take the tube apart... But my dad's old decades-old one still works fine.
Good deal on your stove, Atb to you and Merry Christmas.
+whatzthis64 Thank you! Merry Christmas!
That’s awesome
I was at the lake this weekend diggin thru the garage and found and old unused 425f even the box hadn’t been opened
now that is an excellent find
JIUJITSU2000 thanks most people just don’t get it! I should have unboxed it on camera but I was just too excited i thought maybe someone was just using the box to store something else but it was the real deal it had some old coupons and a Coleman mini book of extra Accessories that you could buy
Very nice!
I got mine for 15 dls at the fleatmarket ,in good sharp works great👍
Looks like a score!
Thank you, great information!
Happy! Happy! Happy! I know what you mean . 👍🎃😜
Great purchase.
+Joseph Krestan Thanks
Update, I loved my 425f during my camping trip last month. I do have a question for you sir. I cannot get it to simmer. If I turn the knob down just before all the way off it starves and flames out. Anything higher and it's stronger than a simmer. Any ideas? I have a new generator. I have not messed with the check valve though it seems to be fine. I have not removed the threaded assembly with the small tube located in the tank. Any thoughts?
Those are good stoves. Kinda of a weird design tho with the main fuel line going right over the burner. Can't beat an old coleman
True! It's that design that makes it work so good. The fuel goes over the burner and gets converted into a gas. Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Bought one at a garage sale for $7 a a couple of years ago. Looked like it had been used once. Also have a single and a three burner and several Coleman lanterns.
+rc3291 that's a smoking deal!
Thanks, great vid
Great buy.
I too have a very small flame 🤷♂️ Time to clean.
Hey great Video!!! Thanks!
+Michael J Thank you!
The colder they are the harder they are to light. Also helps to preheat the genny to vaporize the fuel.
True, Thank you!
7/2/2018 Walmart price is $140. I just scored one for $20 as well. weeeeeeeeeeeee I'm so excited!!!
LOL Now to find a good deal on a tent and I'm ready to go.
Sounds like you're almost set! :-)
@@jiujitsu2000 Thanks for the quick response.I will take your advice and give it try.
The tank on mine doesn’t seem to pressure. Could this be a pump issue? I took it apart just as you did.
Carburetor cleaner will clean the jet very nicely. I have the same model stove. Found a gallon of 30 year old Coleman fuel and it burns just fine!
i wish the EPA would have left are fuel alone.....i see so much trashed engines and gas geazar from the pump gas now adays
Trangia all the way. Look at that Behemoth.
Thanks forposting
