7:45, the block 30 would have similar flight performence to the block 50. The 30 is only 3 kg lighter than the 50 and has an engine that produces 1,000 lbs less thrust.

as a modern jet enthusiast-im VERY pleased with the bitching betty/rita additions along side the updated RWR/radar stuff i might actually consider bringing a plane into my high tier tank lineup once more due to these changes. only gripe i have for modern jets ingame now is the lack of vapor clouds on the wing roots when pulling low alt/low speed AoA manuevers but hey its a small gripe. other then that aptch feels relatively smooth so far

They did changed f16 flight model a lot. F16 ADF pulls a lot more, so as loses speed a lot faster in turn, and F16 became a lot less stable in pitch, just like mig29
7:51 I don't think the Block 50 would be a suitable F2 counterpart as the F2 is so much different from every other F16 in service. First of all it was developed from the Agile Falcon program where it was designed to provide a low cost alternative to the FSX program that yielded the F22. So what does that entail? Well in order to put the agile in to the Falcon the wing area was increased by 25% and shape were changed to further improve aerodynamic efficiency (energy retention/payload/drag) It's also then made using more composites which result in it being lighter than the BL50 in spite of the larger airframe, these composites also reduce natural radar signature. As for weapons/systems, it has 10 wing hardpoints instead of 8 and the advantages of an AESA radar which compared to PESA radars is; harder to detect and identify on rwr, effectively doesn't have a scan time it sees everything in front of it all of the time, can hold a what on PESA would be a single-target-track on multiple targets. I said natural radar signature because there is also 'stealth technology' in addition to that which I would presume is just an absorbent coating but I'm not gonna pretend to know the specifics.
The instructor G limiter is based on the F-16A with full fuel and 0 ordnance. It's the same configuration all the statcard stats are based on as well. This means for regular and lower fuel loads, you will get significantly higher G limits (14Gs+ at less than min fuel). Since it's only based on the F-16A and not the heavier models, the other ones will still pull slightly worse. Maybe Gaijin should calibrate the G limits for each F-16 variant, but idk if that's realistic and it would take away the F-16A's niche (its CAS abilities have already been surpassed ten times over by the F-16C). Also yeah, since the F-16C has no CW antenna, it may only guide the Sparrows using PD. Do note it has to be HPRF PD, not MPRF, so the only mode it should/could be guided in is the PDV mode the radar has (which employs a HPRF signal). But Gaijin has currently no way to actually model this apparently. Also evident from the fact RWR that can differentiate (LPRF) pulse vs (MPRF, HPRF) PD always show PD for planes even if they use pulse mode. But then again, I am not even sure if the CW detection works right now, but I would need to test that with someone.
The most difficult thing about dodging Aim-9Ms is recognising that they are fired at you. For one it's hard to spot, but even if you see the launch specifically, you have to figure out if it's a 9L or 9M in a split second before it gets into no escape range
Idk about you but all of my R60Ms are getting flared, my only hits today are on F-4S's that fly in a straight line without flaring like bots. But that's just how anecdotal evidence works, I've found once I've expended my 27ERs the 60Ms are just better to force the enemy defensive for a gun kill like I used to use R-3S's. 27ERs are just insane right now though I expect a nerf to be put out by the time I wake up tomorrow or at least some point this week.
Do u know how Magic2s IRCCM works? sometimes its really good, but sometimes just feel like it was before, i'm not entirely sure, i just want the IR MICA to be added for the mirage 2000.
There’s tons of armaments missing on this thing, anti shipping missiles, JDAMS,HARM and Shrike as well as a pod to guide in HARMS, if we ever get those in game the updates to this plane should be even nicer
I Get the MiG-21 SMT (10.3) Today, Bruh how can i do kills with it easy? I learn use the R-3R, lock radar and shot the missile but it never hit and i always die tia F-8 with AIM-9C, some tips for it? its my third Tier 7 (i got Su-22M3 and Su-25BM)
What I'm really pissed about is the fact that the agm65d you can't lock targets through the lightening pod you actually have to switch to the targeting system of the actual missle it's really annoying combined with all those modes of sight to switch between really annoying

actually alot of helicopters such as the AH-64 have that ability, its only because they do not detect the band of the tracking radar the Pantsir uses while the helis can.
They knocked me back to Tier 2 in literally every nation! I was at Tier 7 US now I would have to go back and research vehicles in Tier 3-4-5 just to get back to where I am just to make progress!! Tier 5 in Russia and Japan knocked back to Tier 2! They royally screwed everyone over with this update and I am 100% done with Gaijin and War Thunder!
FoV gating... but! it might in the (near) future receive some buffs to its IRCCM by implementing new IRCCM techniques (probably multi spectrum band seekers) to the game. Flare code changed a little bit, unsure what it does right now if anything different than before but it might be a sign Gaijin is working on something.
I got a feeling you guys don't know how to use the missile right. Once again you get a missile that forces the enemy to go defensive and you do nothing with that. If i had those, i would launch and chase them for a gun kill, because they dont have an option of fighting back, which is why i would call this OP. Same as phoenix. Everyone says that its bad but all you have to do is play agresively because the enemy doesnt get to have a choice. its either defend or die trying...

The fog is actually stupid. I get they want more 1v1 but every match? Every time i try to use a missile, it just wont lock until .3km away. Not to mention the third partys and spotting system being non existent. The fog plus the new dynamic rp gain for match length just encourages campers and people refusing to fight. The fog needs to go or be fixed
Gotta be honest gaijin should stop adding new veichles cause they’re going to eventually run out of content to add. In the past 2 years we’ve had massive changes to top tier and I feel like gaijin has overdone themselves (for now). All I really want now is just graphics and audio improvements and a few more fixes to the economy.

мда... для начала скажу так, Ф16с луче СМТ... да и обычного Шмыга тоже... во Первых! 9М всегда летит в цель, и 90% игнорит ЛТЦ, доворачивает прям как и Р73 (у неё отобрали УВТ) но при этом Р73 уходет на лтц в 60% случаев, не уходит только при перпендекулярном запуске до 3км в добавок у Шмыга СМТ нет манёвренности совсем, в то время как ф16с АХРЕНЕТЬ КАК доворачивает на 1000км+ бе затежеления... 1100 идёт тяжесть, что касаеться стареньких 9L а чё? они как бы очень даже хороши, по итогу Ф 16 с достоин тира 12.3 ШмыГ 29 СМТ искусственный топ (Искусственный только из за Ракет Р 73) которому не место на 12.3 ибо предшествиник манёвреней, по вооружению воздух воздух нёс всё тоже самое что и СМТ но ему не выдали этого ни Р-27ЭТ ни р 73 но дали топлива на 10 минут больше (Спойлер это бесполезно в Воздушке а в Штурмовке и подавно) было 30+10 у шмыга у смт 40+10... при этом движки одинаковые но масса у СМТ больше и аэродинамика хуже, я уже молчу про СПО... О боже как же хорошо СПО на Ф16, На Су-39 Тоже шикарное СПО но вот у СМТ полная параша... СМТ место на 11.7 край на 12.0 за счёт штурмовки, обычному мигу дали бы все возможности отробатывать воздушку и отправил бы на 12.3, хотя есть замечательный пример, F16A (БР12.0) и с ним же в подветке F16ADF (БР12.0) другой по наземке при чём они более мение равны , с МиГом надо было делать точно так же, МиГ просто качаешь в обязаловку а СМТ в подветке на том же 12.0 БР и если не хочешь то не качаешь, Я в курсе что F16a и f15adf только только обледенили в подветку, и либо вообще не давать самолёт тира 12.3 или давать такой который может ПРОТИВОСТОЯТЬ по манёвренности F16c а так получается ни по ракетам ни по движка ни по чему СМТ не в балансе, он всем уступает, я уже молчу про другие нации, хотя Ф16Барак это почти полная копия Ф16С только у барака ЛТЦ в разы больше если есть Сомнения по самолётам, идите глянте стрим Крюги, он уже отстримил и запись есть, он и на СМТ полетал и на Ф16с и прям видно что ф 16 с превосходнейший топ игры на данный ммомент
@@jbeverley67 Holy mackrel yes it does. I've been duking it out with my friend in the MiG-29SMT while he's in the F-16C and he can flare it with afterburner on during rear aspect. I've got a clip of him flaring it when the missile was only 0.4km away as well. It doesn't just get flared easily, it gets flared to a comical degree. The R-73 is gimped badly, not to mention the MiG-29SMT which is supposed to turn "slightly" slower than the MiG-29 (9-13) can only pull 9-10G at best, where as the MiG-29A can pull about 11-13G which is a considerable difference. For a fighter renowned for doing the Cobra, it struggles to AoA more than 60 degrees in Full-Real, and only AoA's about 20 degrees in mouse aim. It's a joke, and it's radar is considerably less reliable than the 9-13. Right now, the 9-13 is a vastly more competent aircraft than the SMT. I wanted balance, I wanted a fun even dogfight between the F-16C and the MiG-29SMT. But right now, the SMT can barely keep up.

@@dingo8mybudit's much easier for the Flanker to Cobra than it is the Fulcrum. The Flanker is the one known for it. The 29 isn't actually all that great at very high AoA, the Flankers are much better, even the Su-34, the overweight whale of a Flanker. Also it makes sense honestly, the SMT is way heavier, and didn't get much extra thrust. It should be turning worse, and not just by a tiny bit either. As far as the R-73 is concerned, it could be buffed in rear aspect but otherwise it's fine. The 73A, while it does have IRCCM, really isn't all that flare resistant, the 27ET is stronger in this regard, even on the weaker IRCCM versions (needs to be buffed a bit in game tbh). It's also the first (not counting the SRAAM) and only thrust vectoring close range IR missile in the game, which gives it enough advantages with the HMD. It's fine being nerfed in it's IRCCM for a while. It's a game. Not a Sim being used for the military. It doesn't need to be 100% accurate all the time, things can be changed for balance.
I mean it was pretty much just a QOL update, these vehicles don't bring much new to the table besides the R-73 and 9M which the older F-16s and MiG-29 could also use 😅

R3R is horrible, all planes can out turn it anywhere below like 8km. Just use the R60s and guns

The fog is actually stupid. I get they want more 1v1 but every match? Every time i try to use a missile, it just wont lock until .3km away. Not to mention the third partys and spotting system being non existent. The fog plus the new dynamic rp gain for match length just encourages campers and people refusing to fight. The fog needs to go or be fixed

Gotta be honest gaijin should stop adding new veichles cause they’re going to eventually run out of content to add. In the past 2 years we’ve had massive changes to top tier and I feel like gaijin has overdone themselves (for now). All I really want now is just graphics and audio improvements and a few more fixes to the economy.

мда... для начала скажу так, Ф16с луче СМТ... да и обычного Шмыга тоже... во Первых! 9М всегда летит в цель, и 90% игнорит ЛТЦ, доворачивает прям как и Р73 (у неё отобрали УВТ) но при этом Р73 уходет на лтц в 60% случаев, не уходит только при перпендекулярном запуске до 3км в добавок у Шмыга СМТ нет манёвренности совсем, в то время как ф16с АХРЕНЕТЬ КАК доворачивает на 1000км+ бе затежеления... 1100 идёт тяжесть, что касаеться стареньких 9L а чё? они как бы очень даже хороши, по итогу Ф 16 с достоин тира 12.3 ШмыГ 29 СМТ искусственный топ (Искусственный только из за Ракет Р 73) которому не место на 12.3 ибо предшествиник манёвреней, по вооружению воздух воздух нёс всё тоже самое что и СМТ но ему не выдали этого ни Р-27ЭТ ни р 73 но дали топлива на 10 минут больше (Спойлер это бесполезно в Воздушке а в Штурмовке и подавно) было 30+10 у шмыга у смт 40+10... при этом движки одинаковые но масса у СМТ больше и аэродинамика хуже, я уже молчу про СПО... О боже как же хорошо СПО на Ф16, На Су-39 Тоже шикарное СПО но вот у СМТ полная параша... СМТ место на 11.7 край на 12.0 за счёт штурмовки, обычному мигу дали бы все возможности отробатывать воздушку и отправил бы на 12.3, хотя есть замечательный пример, F16A (БР12.0) и с ним же в подветке F16ADF (БР12.0) другой по наземке при чём они более мение равны , с МиГом надо было делать точно так же, МиГ просто качаешь в обязаловку а СМТ в подветке на том же 12.0 БР и если не хочешь то не качаешь, Я в курсе что F16a и f15adf только только обледенили в подветку, и либо вообще не давать самолёт тира 12.3 или давать такой который может ПРОТИВОСТОЯТЬ по манёвренности F16c а так получается ни по ракетам ни по движка ни по чему СМТ не в балансе, он всем уступает, я уже молчу про другие нации, хотя Ф16Барак это почти полная копия Ф16С только у барака ЛТЦ в разы больше если есть Сомнения по самолётам, идите глянте стрим Крюги, он уже отстримил и запись есть, он и на СМТ полетал и на Ф16с и прям видно что ф 16 с превосходнейший топ игры на данный ммомент

@@jbeverley67 Holy mackrel yes it does. I've been duking it out with my friend in the MiG-29SMT while he's in the F-16C and he can flare it with afterburner on during rear aspect. I've got a clip of him flaring it when the missile was only 0.4km away as well. It doesn't just get flared easily, it gets flared to a comical degree. The R-73 is gimped badly, not to mention the MiG-29SMT which is supposed to turn "slightly" slower than the MiG-29 (9-13) can only pull 9-10G at best, where as the MiG-29A can pull about 11-13G which is a considerable difference.
For a fighter renowned for doing the Cobra, it struggles to AoA more than 60 degrees in Full-Real, and only AoA's about 20 degrees in mouse aim. It's a joke, and it's radar is considerably less reliable than the 9-13.
Right now, the 9-13 is a vastly more competent aircraft than the SMT. I wanted balance, I wanted a fun even dogfight between the F-16C and the MiG-29SMT. But right now, the SMT can barely keep up.

@@dingo8mybudit's much easier for the Flanker to Cobra than it is the Fulcrum. The Flanker is the one known for it. The 29 isn't actually all that great at very high AoA, the Flankers are much better, even the Su-34, the overweight whale of a Flanker.
Also it makes sense honestly, the SMT is way heavier, and didn't get much extra thrust. It should be turning worse, and not just by a tiny bit either.
As far as the R-73 is concerned, it could be buffed in rear aspect but otherwise it's fine. The 73A, while it does have IRCCM, really isn't all that flare resistant, the 27ET is stronger in this regard, even on the weaker IRCCM versions (needs to be buffed a bit in game tbh). It's also the first (not counting the SRAAM) and only thrust vectoring close range IR missile in the game, which gives it enough advantages with the HMD. It's fine being nerfed in it's IRCCM for a while. It's a game. Not a Sim being used for the military. It doesn't need to be 100% accurate all the time, things can be changed for balance.

The RWR changes are the highlight of the patch if you ask me, and those should have come a while ago

@@iceicebabyil That's fair, I remember telling you this before but IMO the rank and foldering changes aren't really a part of the update, since they were just a part of the roadmap that got pushed at the same time. But even if we think they are... don't you think my assessment as a filler, QOL focused patch makes sense?
