that is not true. If he had a 44 he would be doing windmills, 360s, etc. I'll say it was 40 because for a player that is 5'10-5'11 he dunks pretty easy.

Nice tribute, bro. I always have been a Sixer fan born & raised in North Philly. I almost had a coronary when the got A.I. in the lottery & he took them straight to the Finals. Something more impressive about a skinny 6'1"-6'2" guy dunking. Looks more athletic or dramatic than someone who barely has to jump. Nice compilation. Well done.
If you notice he did a lot of dunking his 1st 2 years. He slowed way down later on. He has as many highlights almost from those 2 yrs as the rest of his career. I think he expended so much energy being a smaller guy he conserved it to be more effective. That's just my observation of his career back then tho.
Wow!!!...I knew Iverson had some amazing leaping ability, but for a 6'0 player he dunks with ease. His vertical lift is outstanding, at about 5:59 you can see how easily he goes up and dunks with two hands on a straight vertical jump to the basket.
If you noticed, most of these are from HIgh School, College or early in his NBA Career. He learned early that a lay-up counts for the same two points as a dunk, it takes less energy, and the landing is less impact on the knees.
I like the fact you decided to go with a long Mike Mccready style guitar solo instead of the normal rap music. I think it fits AI’s style of play more.
Why I liked this Vid was becaus eall the others are the same they get their clips from Allen Iverson the Answer I want something I never seen before and thats what I got with this vid I was looking for Iverson's College Clips and I finally found them with this vid so thanks for posting this.
i admire the guy.. his attitude.. humblenss.. his ability to be big when world focus on size.. u guys should check out his interview for rookie of the year.. truely distinguish himself as a man with principle and positive attitude ..
Man! This dude is 6-foot (really 5’10) and he’s dunking from the foul line! Might as well call those free throw line dunks. Also, it’s quite clear here how much he looks up to MJ. He wore Concords in at least a quarter of these plays
No he's not a legitimate 6'1 I met him in person at Lennox Mall in Atlanta in '11 and judging from the eye test he's every bit of 6'1...Because I'm 6'2 and we we're Damn near nose to nose when we we're talking.
He looked more athletic in Denver than he did in his last few years in philly I remember him dunking alot on breakaways when he got steals but from like 04 to 06 it was all lay ups
This is cool! 100 dunks?! He's an underrated dunker as far as frequency goes. But you notice he just knows how to put it in, usually the highest he gets is his wrists above the rim.
that huge one at the end was late last season- a.i properly crammed it on some rookie 6.10 forward- who defiantly challenged- play was called off unfortunatly or it would have been a much more widely seen play....
Good work. But you didn't have a few of his best televised dunks while at Gtown (including two against St John's). I wish I knew how to upload that stuff.
Can somebody please tell me the name of the song that is playing in the beginning? The artist and song name please? oh yeah, AI is a great dunker especially for his size.

Great Video on A.I. His SECRET was good jumping ability but had REALLY LONG ARMS., NOTICE they come down below his knees. Mine don't even reach my knees, which is the reason I can't dunk like him... :)
@wubrother What happened to his career? Your looking at it. For a small guy to play that hard every game of his career takes its toll, you only got so many miles. He's in his early 30s no way he could run and jump the way he did.
You realize all of these dunks were from years ago. When he was, listed at 6'1. And im pretty sure, that you play basketball with your shoes on, so hes 6'1 on the court.

The put back over Camby was insane. Probably the best pure all around athlete of his era. He probably could have played in the nfl if he wanted.

At one point in time, even for a year or two, u have to admit that Iverson was the best player in the league.......i just cant pinpoint the two years.
jaytolbert9 2001 & 2003 are some good choices
Topnotchryde88 2001 id give it to him. 2003 it was more Kobe or Tim Duncan who was the best player
Immediately post Jordan he became the most prolific scorer. Soon after he was the best player period due to his defense and intensity.
