I knew you would have a little trouble closing the glove box door after the screws went in. I did the same mistake lol. You are supposed to lift the glove box door up slightly so the glove box door hanger hooks are positioned in the holes before you tighten the screws. If you do it after, there is a risk you can break the glove box door hinges.
So I went searching and found what I believed to be the connector. Googled the part number to double check and it turned out to be related to the air bag where an optional on/off switch could be added. Probably not a wise idea to mess about with an airbag connector. Basically, just be careful you find the right one!
