Great guide. I was able to get it with a few mins or so to spare. I did get a bit nervous b.c I was over the 2.15 hour mark after collecting the 3rd part but the last two are pretty quick thankfully. I did waste a bit too much time fighting enemies and collecting extra modules and stuff that I didn't even use lol. Prob shouldve skipped dolly and the ogre shortcut which ended up way longer than just backtracking. I would def advise sticking to the script early like the vid shows and don't dillydally. If you wanna do a lil extra make sure you are well ahead of the curve. I was a bit lucky to be honest lol tho I was dashing like crazy to get back and on the last two parts. Luckily I just made it and avoided another run. Thanks for the awesome guide.
Awesome easy to follow guide. Little to no trouble and plenty of extra time if you need it. Soothing voice to listen to, this video deserves more attention!!!
This was very helpful! Small tip for Dolly, in the rooms she spawns in, if you leave and renter a few times she will go away and you won't have to fight her. She spawns in where she's fought in this video of course, but she also can spawn literally in the room to the right of the 5th ship part gotten in this video. You'll know she's there if you see the white wall barriers. I think she can spawn 1 other place, but I didn't find it. I accidentally started her fight after grabbing the 5th part, so I just dashboarded my Xbox to get back to my last save point. Which just happened to be after grabbing the the part literally seconds ago, lol. Ended with a time of 1 hour and 44 minutes, and no deaths. I also had no idea the game had spriting melee attacks, gonna load my main save real fast to see what the others look like. Oh, seems only the Hazard Blade and the Hypersledge have running attacks, and they are both the same, so I didn't miss much. Thanks!
Just finished up with a 2:10 thanks to your guide! Died once, so I couldn't knock out the other tough achievement, but the one I was dreading is out of the way.
Thanks a lot! I've just finished my Explorer speedrun with 2 hours precisely. I altered the route to avoid Dolly (I don't like fighting her). I also picked different route after second Henriette fight: after obtaining the ship part I fell into the enormous pit to the right of it; the remaining part of my way was similar to returning with the first ship part. And to get to her, I teleported to the Huttle Drop robot and proceeded from there: it was my route in normal playthroughs. I got huge problems with the second Henriette and defeated her immediately when I equipped the gun used in this video instead of my favourite rockets; I also forgot to equip that precious module after the victory)) Though TBH, it's kinda difficult to die after the second Henriette boss fight. BTW, some of Henriette 2.0's red spears can be dodged by sitting ("S" button on keyboard) and letting them fly over your head; looks quite funny IMHO, I like it😀
I like your voice. It's the kind of voice that'd make a dude consider batting for the other team, tho maybe more likely to be a receiver than a batsman, if you excuse the mixed sports metaphors. 😉
I wanted to attempt this, but I feel like I'd have to pause every 30 seconds or so to copy what you did. Pausing doesn't stop in game time so I most likely won't make it that way. Are people using this video after a first playthrough so they understand better or what's the best way to go about this? I just ask because pausing doesn't essentially pause time. Any tips here?
What I do (even when I made this video) I'd stop at every save point and plot out what I was doing next, so just hit a save and then watch the next chunk, do the chunk, then repeat
Are you sure the timer doesn't stop when paused? I thought I tested it and it didn't move as I was in the records menu. OK yes, started use this walkthrough, and pausing does stop the timer. At least pausing and going to the record screen does.

Thanks, I spend less than 2 hours!
Happy to help

Can this achievement be done in new game plus?
no, time and deaths will carry over to new game plus.
