Honestly I was BLOWN away with this place. If you love to surf - GO HERE!! I've never surfed with such an amazing group of individuals who were not only motivating, but also extremely fun to be around. I'll be back for sure!

I spend one month living on this island! It is the most beautiful island I have ever been on. You can find really cheap accomodation and great local food! The mango shakes are amazing!!! Just a shame you spent so long in a resort when there is so much nature to explore haha

There's something about Siargao that makes you want to return. I literally cried after my vacation ended and have to go back to my normal boring life. The place is magical! It's clean, and not over commercialized. I'm not really a surfer but I still enjoyed touring the three islands, magpupungko, sugba lagoon and the cave (forgot what it's called). Even when not touring islands and beaches just walking around General Luna made me feel happy :)
As a Filipino and from Mindanao, I would like to say Thank You for showing the world that there’s more to the Philippines than what they see and hear in the news. I am overwhelmed by the positivity in the comment section. People from other countries who are excited to visit the Philippines and who’ve been to the Philippines.

I honestly love the fact that Siargao is getting so much attention. I mean, I've never been so proud that my Mom was born and raised on that island. And I grew up visiting it every year when I was younger. ❤️
Siargao is more old school. While Boracay is for the party people and Palawan and Bohol are for families and honeymoons, Siargao is the hippie surfer dude place. There are similar places way up north in Luzon, also for surfers, but Siargao is simply more beautiful.

Let us hope that big hotel chains and fast food/restaurant joints won't enter Siargao, this place is better with the locals providing those services. I don't want those coconut trees to be cut down just to accommodate more franchises. We don't want this haven to be like Boracay.
Yes it is happening now in El Nido........small businesses from Boracay are now squatting in El Nido unless the local government do something about it now, there will be no more last frontier.

Thank you for making this Video. We have been watching your videos for years and enjoy them. We have traveled to the Philippines many times. We have not been to Sairgao and planned on that this time. We got our tickets last night and will be there by the end of January. We alway flight directly into Cebu and never into Manila. It works out better for us that way.

It took 6 hours land travel + 3 hours boat ride for me to get to this island but it was worth it...I really love the place. I enjoyed Sugba Lagoon, Cloud 9 and Magpupungko.

Thumbs up for visuals! Another place that it looks like I'd love. On a side note; when you're picking up a new sport, it's always at the end of the day when things don't go so well. Ask anyone that does ski patrol, or goes wake boarding as seldom as I do. Beautiful, show me more, and most importantly, Stay Lost.
