This was the first time I ever heard/saw REM. I was mesmerised, and so lost in the moment that it never occurred to me to video tape it. I kicked myself later and eventually resigned myself to the fact that I’d never see it again. But now you’ve given me back that moment. Thankyou so much.

Man. I can’t believe they are lipsynching. Never saw them do it before but there are multiple vocals of stipe being sung at the same time. I was first like “damn sounds just like the record”. Nevertheless , my favorite band ever

They aren't lip-syncing. This version is totally different from the studio version.

@@jeffbrown-hill7739 hmmm ok. If you watch Stipe. There are multiple stipe vocals going on simultaneously. At least it looks like it to me.

​@@scottopie8292I'm not exactly sure what you mean about multiple vocals, maybe it's an echo you're hearing? But I know for sure just by listening to the instruments this is different from the studio version. Go listen to the "Fables" version and then this one. You'll be able to tell the difference instantly.
