So much fun camping with dogs! We headed to mid Michigan for a weekend of fun and camping with many of our TH-cam friends and their dogs! Today we went on a hike, showed Oakley how cool an umbrella is, and made some epic Marshmallow smores!

its 2024 and I absolutely love going back and watching all the wonderful and beautiful memories of Shiloh, Shelby, and Oakley. I started today off watching the newer videos, as I fell behind, but then it suggested I watch the video where you had put up Shelby, Oakley and Memphis's letters up to mark where their leashes, collars and harnesses go (pretty sure it was titled We Still Miss Shiloh) and I couldn't help to binge watch the older videos. Instead of throwback Thursday, its Throwback Tuesday for me this week. Thank you sharing your babies with us!

Yeah I was wanting to go out and get some star pics that night too but with the lack of sleep the previous night and all the activity throughout the day I was toast and crashed early.

I think Oakley doesn't want to be in the shade where the other dogs are because of her social anxiety. It's crowded and there's a lot of commotion under the canopy. She just wants to feel secure. That's why she distances herself, even at the sacrifice of not being in the shade. And, maybe the ground feels cooler to her too.

Oakley with her umbrella and fan looked super cute and sweet. She deserves to be treated extra special with all she has been through and it increases her trust, I think. I wish that there can be a way found to help her like the water. I think Shelby was a little jealous of Banana being on her daddy's lap. Banana is so cute and does very good. Memphis wanting petting was so sweet. Neat way to do roasted marshmallows. I have to keep sticking mine in the fire after I take a bite so I taste it roasted-don't like raw marshmallows.

Such fun! Queen Oakley was living the life. haha! She really looked comfy and cool. Those stuffed marsh mellows looked delicious and Greg actually fit the whole thing in his mouth. :-o Lol!

God I love Huskies. I wish I could have one but Im near Boston and don't have a/c, so I feel like they'd suffer terribly every summer.
