Excellent talk on ethics. I think people forget to ask themselves whether they are being tested when they are presented with a back door as opposed to doing something the proper way. Life tests us and if we choose properly we can become better people. If we choose poorly, we don't. Psychopaths don't appreciate the loss of personal value that comes with poor choices. Perhaps their real problem is that they don't have a self worth worthy of protecting by making good choices. There's a famous quote that a man is only as faithful as his options. Well some men still choose to be faithful despite being presented with options. They choose this because they find value in what they are protecting; their relationship. The real question is why do the rest of us fall for these psychopaths with criminal intent? Why do we need to believe the hype; or what's so lacking in us that we need the dream??
