Thank you for this video cus I have 20/30 year old driver and I was currently looking into the LTDx LS but I now want the AeroJet. I’m sure I will see leaps and bounds better everything. Thank you keep up the great videos.
I am a year behind but I picked up an Aerojet max two weeks ago. OH MY what a difference I noticed the first few balls I hit at the range. When I took it to the first tee, BLAST OFF! Incredible driver. I may be biased but I love Cobra. I use F Max irons also. Great review-you got my sub!
I just got one and it really feels like the sweet spot lives in a place e of its own. Separated from the edges. You can feel the trampoline effect on center hits. It's really nice.
Great review. I recently purchased the AeroJet LS and hit my 1st 300 yard drive of the summer last Thursday at 305 in the Fairway in only my 3rd round with the driver. I had a fitting session and all the numbers were clearly the AeroJet LS. Picked up 11.5 yards from my previous Taylor Made SIM. Brought my spin down by 748 rpms. Picked the Kai'li Blue 60S shaft, have my driver at 10.5 degrees with the 12 g weight in the heel and 3 g weight in the toe. Love the neutral face at address and the crisp sound off the face
I'm the dude who waits to yr end to buy this yrs driver. Had the LTDx this yr and just bought the Aerojet boxing day deal for a song. For me it gave more spin, more carry and same overall distance. This is exactly what I want. More spin. I couldn't get the spin above 2/k with the LTDx lol Aerojet gives me the 2300-2,600 window. perfect. More carry cuz more spin which translates to more control = more fairways. More forgiving as well with tighter dispersion. Gonna enjoy 2024
Been very happy with my Cobra LTD X LS Has the Kali shaft. Then yesterday I'm getting out driven by an Aerojet. On the 17 th hole I asked to hit it after I had hit my best of the day. It was 10 yards farther and most of that was a farther carry. It was lighter in the head for sure. Balls were very close on dispersion. Not paying $539 for it though. I'll just take one more club. Excellent review.
Wow, I hit the Aerojet LS today during a driver fitting. Had zero intentions of Cobra contending but it was the clear winner. Best for ball speed, total distance, and more importantly it had the best dispersion. I also hit the Aerojet LS 3 wood which was an absolute rocket. Great job Cobra.
Loved my F9 cobra driver and would still be playing it if I hadn’t had a winter tee box accident currently playing the RAD speed its good but miss my F9 in all honestly hopefully test this and see. Love to see this against the F9 which was probably cobras best selling driver.
Cobra has killed it this year. There prices are so competitive as well. The Aerojet is $120-150 less than the Stealth 2 and Paradigm. Exited to see how the King Tour Irons do in the Bracket as well.
I don't know where you're at, but its pretty similar in price for everything I see. Aerojet is $549, Paradym and Stealth 2 are $599 (Stealth 2 plus is a little more). I opted for a Rogue ST Max in my fitting, just seemed to be the best fit
Ya it looks even nicer in person vs when I saw the pics at first. Can't go wrong with either. Gonna try to do a head to head soon. Thanks for watching Ryan. 🍻

I am currently gaming, the TSR3 do you think the cobra aerojet has the same length but more forgiveness? Titleist is not a bad driver by any means, but have always seemed to enjoy hitting Cobra drivers.
I prefer the paradym. Tried it last week, didn’t like it at all. Granted I was swinging like shit at the time but still didn’t feel anything I liked about it really
I have a Cobra speedzone extreme 2020 driver, how much of a improvement is the Aerojet over my old one? And should I go with the Max, aerojet or LS model( everyone seems hype more with the LS version)? Thanks!! Great video as always!
Huge improvements from the Speedzone. Pure ball speed and distance improvements. Plus I think it looks much better. You won’t regret the upgrade. LS is great if you swing fairly fast. Depends what’s you’re looking for in a driver. Go for a fitting.
I think they are really really close. I haven't done a head to head session yet. I did do a comparison between the TSR3 vs the LTDx LS and the TSR3 kept up with a shorter shaft (I was fitted into a shorter shaft). I'm going to do a bracket soon for the 2023 driver. I'm thinking the TSR with a standard length shaft will make it very interesting.
@@NewNineGolf Doing good, looking forward to your course vlogs again. With new driver, 5w, and irons last season it's going to have to be exceptional for me to put that kind of cash out this season. I have been looking at those Zero putters.... 😇
Cool review. Can you really say that the Aerojet driver itself is the reason that your face wasn't closed to the path as much as with the LTDx? Is the Aerojet more fade bias?
After watching some reviews it seems like an ever so small improvement over LTDx. I’ll keep my LTDx LS w/ X-Tensei White for the foreseeable future as it is an amazing club.
Most normal people don't buy a driver every year. But club manufacturers have become just like cell phone manufacturers -- some new gimmic every year. I hope to play my recently purchased used LTDx for many years -- if it lasts that long, at least.
It's all part of the game. They need to one up their competition every year haha. N not everyone is on the same cycle, so someone's had a driver for say 6 years and is finally ready to buy a new driver might not want a model that's 2 years old. Some people enjoy buying and talking about gear. It's part of the fun and there are communities built around that. The LTDx is a great driver. I hit some of my best drives with that thing. Enjoy and thanks for watching. 🍻
Nice vids as always dude! Now that you’ve hit most of the newer OCM drivers (other than Paradym), what are your early rankings without side by side comparison? I picked up the TSR2 after your review video last Fall, and honestly in love with it; upgrading from the 20-year old TM RS510 to that has added 45+ to my total and can actually put most of them in or close to the fairway at 300+! I know you’re a Cobra guy now, but it seemed like TSR3 was right there. Interested to hear your thoughts 🙏🏼
That’s such a great questions and honestly it’s SO SO SO close. If I had to rank atm I’d say TM, Cobra, Titleist, Ping. But this is the closest that’s ever been because I liked all of them and the results were close. Comparing all of them will be fun.
@@NewNineGolf can’t wait to see the comparison in a few months once everything is out! If I can play as well on the course as I have at this sims this winter, will have to take you up on that Country Hills round this year 🤝
My bad I meant efficiency. Isn’t there a standard of 1.4 or 1.5 in order to stay legal? Was just wondering how this driver could be better than the LTDX. I have the LTDX ls with the DJ shaft. Really like it. Curious if there is really be that big of a gain going into this driver.
Ahhh Gotcha. Ya there is. I don't think drivers are going to get much hotter imo. It's more about if they can get it to consistently perform and make it more forgiving. Ie. Still give you max efficiency on off center strikes The biggest thing I did notice was that I never felt like I was late or stuck. Whatever they did with the aerodynamics made it feel like the face squared up more effortlessly. It's hard and weird to explain but definitely go test it out.
Love your videos but I don't think it is a fair test of you don't alternate hits. You start with the old model then when loose and in a groove you go to the new one. When I hit in a simulator I am always longer and straighter after about 10 to 15 swings. In future videos would be nice to alternate every 5 swings to get more consistent data.
Appreciate the feedback. I went into the session warm. Easily 40-50 hit of both drivers prior to filming. The heads do feel quite different so even going 5/5 would possibly throw off tempo or timing. Still can consider it in the future 👊🏻
Sorry, but that's unreal. Ltdx ls won your test by a mile last year, over really awesome competitors. With exceptional distance and accuracy. And now you tell us the updated version is even MUCH better? People: go to a pro fitting and take the driver/ shaft combo with the best feel and best numbers, swinging at 85 percent, and don't listen to you tube.

I saw a lot of reviews with lots of praise ltdx ls over almost any recent competitor. And your stats in this review are somewhat different to your previous tests. But I guess it all comes down to being fitted properly with the right loft, shaft and position of changable weights. Maybe one just shouldn't compare two different heads with the same shaft since they match up differently. I just bought a cobra ls and can't wait to test it out. Now, i already tested stealth with ventus red stiff, and it was awesome. Ditched it because of so many complaints cracked face. If cobra ls is anywhere near as good as many say, i can't imagine why even consinder another driver. Especially since i got it new for €199 from a premium retailer. And yes, you're right, your content overall does not reveal bias. Sorry for that, i deleted it.
Thank you for your reply I’m going to try the standard model then Been playing the original stealth plus and the Pxg gen 4. Looking for something more forgiving
@nickmillar9651 They are both so good. There aren’t really any bad drivers on the market. I would say they have the same forgiveness but the Cobra is longer.
@NewNineGolf (optimal aerodynamics). Regardless of the fancy words and technology, cobra is stating they used in the development of this driver 90 percent of golfers will shank this driver into the woods.
@NewNineGolf lol.... it's the same driver for the past 5 years. Stop wasting your money on useless equipment, bro. Why wasn't the last cobra driver called the aerojet both are shaped the exact same. Cobra sold you a dream, and you bought it.....

I gotta say this driver looks wise is so much worse than the LTD x
Agreed, the LTDx had character to the looks.
@@TMar1961 I am also way more into matte crown drivers. the glare can be extremely annoying on the tee box.
The name is gay too
@@Traplordsosa apparently the gloss too doesn’t glare in the sun
Gotta disagree the carbon on top is deadly and the blue is nice , but definitely don’t love the name
Peter finch review said the areojets are very hard to hit. Average golfers coukdnt play it very well. ???
I would strongly disagree
Thank you for your reply I’m going to try the standard model then Been playing the original stealth plus and the Pxg gen 4. Looking for something more forgiving
@@NewNineGolf I know you play cobra and got fitted for gen 6 Pxg. In your opinion which is the better or more forgiving driver
@nickmillar9651 They are both so good. There aren’t really any bad drivers on the market. I would say they have the same forgiveness but the Cobra is longer.
You gotta be kidding me...They named it a aerojet as if it's a warhead missile....smh
I believe it’s after a jet wing not a missile. The driver had the same head shape as a jet wing for optimal aerodynamics hence Aero Jet.
@NewNineGolf (optimal aerodynamics). Regardless of the fancy words and technology, cobra is stating they used in the development of this driver 90 percent of golfers will shank this driver into the woods.
Even PGA Tour pros hit it in the woods. Not sure the need for hostility. Anyone that can hit their current driver can hit this LOL
@NewNineGolf lol.... it's the same driver for the past 5 years. Stop wasting your money on useless equipment, bro. Why wasn't the last cobra driver called the aerojet both are shaped the exact same. Cobra sold you a dream, and you bought it.....
They are shaped differently. Do you always preach things you know nothing about? DATA doesn’t like 🤣🤷♂️
Name: did a child name it?
Top: too shiny
Bottom: eyesore
Performance: up there
Upgrade from LTDX: nope
Who cares about the name? It’s worse than LTDx? Looks great, performs great.
They failed on the name and design looks cheap but it's not so even worse
Disagree. Looks great and performs.
That is one ugly drive. Bring back LTDX
Not a fan of the talking to yourself
Lol it was 15 seconds you can hit that skip forward button
@@NewNineGolf haha, I could definitely do that
