This is the first time i listen to Tom Izzo talk outside of coaching....i didnt know he was this cool and relaxed...completely different than when hes coaching...i almost thought he was always intense even outside of coaching lol.
Most guys take a year to really blossom in the NBA no matter how talented they are even players like Kobe. Michael came in and blew everyone’s mind but there’s only one MJ. LeBron you could say the same came into the league ready to be somebody from day one but as a college team the rest of the guys would still need time. NBA team wins.
I always felt like the 2011-12 Kentucky Wildcats could've beaten the 2011-12 Charlotte Bobcats. Kentucky went 38-2 and had six NBA players, including Anthony Davis, who was the best college basketball player that year. The Bobcats set the record for the worst winning percentage that season.
I don't think it is impossible. Puerto Rico probably wasn't much better than an elite college team and they destroyed a team USA Olympic team full of great NBA players
People have to stop with this nonsense. Grown men NBA players are at a different level than the best college basketball team. They are professionals for a reason. They are stronger and more experienced ,even the worst team. When the worst NBA teams get blown out or lose guess what? That tells you that the NBA teams are really really talented.
@@mark11967AD I believe that was the year when UNC lost point guard Kendalll Marshall to a broken wrist or that would have been a hell of a second match up with Kentucky. Marshall was the best point guard that year. Similar injury that Kenny Smith suffered in 84 when they were 16-0 and rollin.

Edey, goes in the top 10; the NBA has the patience, time, & money to develop a player but they also can develop the diamond in the rough without blowing a pick. A smart front office will grab him early.
Why does Dan ask every college basketball guest what they think about expanding the tournament? Its almost as if he wants the tournament to be expanded...theres enough teams already...they just cant leave a good thing alone.
