      I have a 2017 Kia Sportage that I bought in the 1st round April 2016. I can’t wait to see this one in person. I’m truly interested.

    I love what these Korean brands are doing! The styling of the new Sportage is very Saab/Jaguar inspired. The interior is unmatched compared to the ho- hums of Honda CRV and Toyota Rav4. I mean, can Honda or Toyota make an exterior and interior like this? I tell you, that Albert Biermann and Peter Schryer is a blessing to the Korean brand trio (Kia, Hyundai, Genesis)...Of course people will throw salt and trash talk about the Korean brands because they low-key jealous of the attention.. Not to mentioned, racking up awards for safety and best value for the money. I definitely buy this new 2023 Sportage for myself. Especially in White with a Panoramic roof option and AWD.

    • @Carfan678
      @Carfan678 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The interior is super nice but I personally prefer a more conservative exterior design like the Tiguan, just don’t love the front end the back is nice

    • @sewgatormomm
      @sewgatormomm 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. The quality and safety ratings of the South Korean brands is exactly why it’s so hard to get so many of the models right now. I’m on a waitlist for a Genesis GV80, but it’s going to be a long wait.

    • @jraheemjefcoat429
      @jraheemjefcoat429 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Carfan678 I thought about getting the Tiguan for an upgrade. Then I thought about VW maintenance cost. This new Sportage is very bold in design, which I like. Kia and Hyundai design philosophy is grabbing a lot attention...I was riding with my friend the other day and saw the new Hyundai Tuscon on the road. My friend thought it was a new Bentley or an expensive German SUV. But was shocked an amaze when he saw the Hyundai emblem on the front grille of that Tuscon. He was at awe with their daytime led lights..He said it looks like angel wings...When I decide to upgrade my current vehicle(once the chip shortage and price mark-up fiasco is over), the new Tuscon or this new Kia Sportage will be my top choices. I get best in class interior space, best safety features and way more tech, and the best warranty in the market.. It's a win-win for me!

    • @cyberathlete
      @cyberathlete 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same. Waiting for pre-orders so I can put money down on my Hybrid Prestige (when they are released mid-2023) in white with AWD. Can't wait.

    • @jraheemjefcoat429
      @jraheemjefcoat429 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @hon solo If Honda finally offers a panoramic roof option in the new upcoming CRV, then maybe...But I already know the fully loaded spec CRV will cost more than a fully loaded Sportage or Tuscon...And probably the styling of it will be on a tad bit on a boring side since Honda played it safe with the styling of the new Civic..I really like how the Sportage and Tuscon offers more for the money... I used to be biased on just Toyota and Honda brands... But after doing my research, the reliability on Kia and Hyundai has really improved since the brand hired German Engineers and designers Peter Schryer and Albert Biermann. And Hyundai and Kia offers the best warranty in any mainstream car brands.. It's a shame people still carries that 80s and 90s stigma about Korean cars. I get what you're saying about reliability..However, as a current Hyundai owner. I'm very confident on the Korean brands reliability. I have a friend who drives a Toyota. And he is so jealous of the features that my car currently has. And was blown away when he realize he paid more money than I did for less features.

    I cannot wait to get mine! I've been eyeing this car since Kia announced it and I got the brochure of app their different trim levels. I've been eyeing the SX Prestige package with AWD and want that Dark Green Moss color because that color is my favorite color 😍 I'm so excited! As for engine power I have a Nissan who has less horsepower than this one so I'm not to picky on that. It had 189 horsepower and my Nissan is 149 horsepower with CVT so....got use it after awhile especially when I'm going up the expressway and trying to gas it.

    • @cjd959
      @cjd959 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jraheemjefcoat429 opinion on styling is subjective. I will agree that Hyundai and Kia are a better bargain for all you get for the car. But they will never hold value like other brands. I think the Kia Telluride is beautiful, I'm just not digging this crazy weird design of Kia small suv or Hyundai.

    • @jraheemjefcoat429
      @jraheemjefcoat429 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cjd959 Never say never...The way these cars is on the demand and the impact of the cheap shortages, might able to obtain it's value after all. People didn't think Hyundai and Kia will be where they are today. They went from least desirable brand to becoming popular...It's like showing up to a class 20 year class reunion from being an unnoticed geek in high school. To now being a successful hot babe or stud that's getting all the looks and attention.

      The 2022 Kia Sportage in America is not this generation. The way it works is the Korean roll out there cars first well, because it's Korea. Then North American market roll out the new models 6 months later. Although it's 2021, we only have a month left this calendar year. So this will be new for the 2022 year as a 2023 model.
