Pay extra attention to his backhand top spin. I notice kreanga strokes the ball more on his left shoulder high spot rather than stroke the ball in front of his stomach or chest area. I am not talking about his backhand block or backhand counterhit, but on his backhand top spin, his method of whipping the ball coming from the side of his left shoulder rather than from his chest is different from most of table tennis lessons that you can find today. I wonder if someone can write a comparison.

I noticed the same thing. At the start of his backhand stroke, he positions the paddle closer to his left shoulder rather than in front of his stomach. This adjustment allows him to extend his swing further, moving both from left to right and forward: The stroke moves horizontally across the body (left to right) while also driving the paddle forward. This combination creates more momentum. As a result, he generates more power and adds greater topspin to his shots.

This is an incredibly generous training video - particularly helpful for the learner of Kreanga's awesome techniques. Does anyone know of videos of such depth on the top Chinese players? Thanks in advance for such links!

The fysiotherapist should get to know triggerpoint -massage, not only the shoulder, which is the sore spot, but also the backmuscles ,the triceps and several other, than kalinikos will have less trouble.

if he is standing in the correct position, he wouldnt need to lean over to block with his b/h, when his training partner misplace the ball slightly away from his b/h, he should move across as a good habit instead of reaching over.To play a correct b/h block, your body should always be behind the ball. therefore when you miss a shot, the ball should hit your stomach.

  • @silverstreaks86

i dont like the way kreanga blocks with his b/h, no footwork what so ever, leaning his body over to block instead of moving his feet.

Min 31 all wrong serves, he is hiding the ball with the head and the shoulder, even in the cameraangle, the player is even more on the right, so he didnt see the ball all the time while serving, so incorrect serve
