I love to make these simulation videos for you and I am happy that you all like them a lot! The graphics of Arma are very good, it almost looks like in real life. Rather simulations than real war!
I definitely don't want to give the impression that I glorify war, I am just a enthusiastic gamer.
The weapon systems are of course used differently in real life, but I am happy to educate you about these weapons systems, many do not even know that they exist.

You know this is the military's way of training civilians in the use of military equipment like this right giving them ahead of the curve knowledge on how to operate the camera systems😅

My step dad flew c130 as navigator said the last part of Korea and the start of Vietnam old man just tell me stories of planes flying in formation watching the flack around people would die in war had a caset tape with actual recording of them flying during Viet man would say one time flying in the c130 they would drop a10000 pound bomb out the back of the plane and boom instant helicopter landing pad, I believe that man, my favorite is watching the 130s doing touch n go patterns in ft. My takeaway: if I’m ever under an AC130 raining steel. Your best chance of survival is lay still and play opossum. Running only gets you dead tired. 🤣🤣

Just a thought: Aren't these big, luggy planes an easy target for SAMs?
A little late to the party, but they actually are probably more susceptible to SAM’s yes, but they have a lot of ECM’s and standoff equipment on them. Any IR launched missiles (such as a MANPAD) would have a hard time finding its target when this thing drops 200 flares behind it.

If there were around five guys with shoulder-fired AA mixed in with the enemy then this mission would be a bit different.

It looks like the crew of the c 130better take target practice they're shooting everything but the cars& trucks
Yeah. Ac130s don’t really miss that much. Way too slow as well. I kept saying what are you waiting on…come on blast them. Glad I ain’t on the ground fighting those guys. We would be overrun. Also, that’s a bunch of ammo. If the bad guys had any sort of ADA that aircraft would be in the dirt.

The attackers have the attacked totally outgunned, not really a fair fight imo.
In real war would you want to have a fair fight? What you would really want in real war is to have a totally unfair advantage against your enemy. With that advantage you can win a battle and possibly end a war way sooner than if you did not have that advantage. Less death, less destruction.
They are probably just children going to school anyway.

Idk about this scenario, but the ac130 model is available with the RUAF mod, and the AC130 mod to accompany it
