Nice looking motorhome. Its front end (I think) is better looking than most RVs I've seen. I'm afraid I've never driven one, nor have I ever ridden in one as a passenger. But I've seen Itascas before. And I find its nose to be the most attractive part of the rig.

Dude that as a 454 there is no fuel economy unless it's parked LOL!

I've always found the nose section of the 1990 Itasca Sunflyer to be the most attractive of any motorhome I've ever seen, other than that of the FMC 2900R Motor Coach. It says "don't mess with me!" but in a pleasing, easy on the eyes way. :)

+Jason Carpp i agree. the sunflyer from the late 80s early 90s is a dream rig i wanna get to full time in. I almost could of got one in great shape for same what i bought my current rig for. they just simply didnt want it anymore and didnt care about price. just i didnt have it at the time. and ended up with my current generic looking old class c lol
but i live in hope when i save my pennies ill come across another, even if its not in fair shape like that other one i saw gonna get it and try to fix the boy up.

+Troy Foxxin I agree. I'd buy one if I could afford one and I had someone to share in the experience. :)

+Troy Foxxin I agree. I'm generally not a big fan of Winnebagos of the 70s and 80s. They may be well built, and have good features that all motorhomes should have, but the early ones, particularly the Winnebago Brave, are, IMHO, hideous to look at.

I wish I could sell my 89 only 48,000 miles, I've spent money on the front end, bought 3 sumitomo tires, new front air bags, new battery disconnect solenoid, converted most interior lighting to led, tuned up the engine, the domestic fridge works great, had the roof air units serviced, but now the front unit runs but doesn't cool, and the rear unit is seized up, the generator needs bearings, she has some roof leaks, and delam, needs house batteries, it also needs an alternator, the engine runs great, it still drives good, I just don't have the money to make it great again.
