I forgot if it was explained in the show, but how did she end up with her own palace as a Guiren? Usually Guiren lived with other concubines and then get their own palace after they get promoted to Pin. I know she became a Pin after like 5mins, but still lol.

In history when she was alive her last title was Imperial Noble Consort of the Second Rank for a Consort. The same year she died she was given the title Imperial Noble Consort Lingyi. Twenty years later after her death she was given the title Empress Xiaoyi. Than four years later during the Jiaqing Emperor reign she was given the title Empress Xiaoyichun. Yes even when she is no longer alive she was still given titles. That was how it was during that time. Like it was said even when an Emperor's woman had passed away her soul will forever wander in the Forbbiden City. She is forever bonded behind the Forbidden City walls.

Twenty years later, Qianlong Emperor announced her son as the successor and elevated her to Empress Xiao Yi posthumoustly. In 1799, Jiaqing Emperor elevated both Empress Xiao Xian and Xiaoyi titles to Empress Xiao Xian Chun and Xiao Yi Chun. It was because Qianlong got ‘chun’ at the end of his posthumous title, hence, as the legitimate wives of Qianlong, both Empress also got ‘chun’ at the end of their title.

the "chun" you are talking about was when Qianlong finally died (though he had renounced the Dragon Throne, he ruled behind the scenes as "Emperor Emeritus" (太上皇 _taishang huang_ )), it was Jiaqing who gave him that _dihao_ (帝號) that was the end of Qianlong's formal posthumous title: *Chun Emperor (純皇帝)*
hence all his Empresses (Lady Fuca & Lady Weigiya) inherited it, with their formal posthumous titles ending with "Chun Empress" (純皇后)
