I know the feeling. I'm 31. Never expected to make it to 30. I've got dozens and dozens of friends that never made it. And alot over 30. I lost count years ago. I gotta make fb posts about em to get the memories poppin up every year as a reminder. I literally forget about some of them. Some I could never forget. A few of my best friends. It sucks losing your boys you've had next to you since grade school. Elementary, middle school. Shit hits different. You just never get friends like the ones you had when you were a kid ever again in life. It's a crazy world we live in these days. Stay blessed folks. Stay safe!🙏💯

Man yall young 30 are weak! Cry, Gothic slit your wrist as$ boys! I'm glad they phase came and went 😂😂😂 let's just sit around, cry, be soft and feel sorry for ourselves lmao

Yea chicago drill scene is pretty much dead at this point. Who would've thought turning gang beefs and murders that name specific people into rap songs would result in everyone dying in revenge killings?
It’s a sad realization that we’ve had so many young deaths. Although not all are gone many are.
Trippie Redd is the Eddie Vedder of SoundCloud rap. Bros the last man standin of his era.
That means he the top of the heap....the number one survivor......I hope he enjoys this moment of winning and tours forever and helps the newer generations survive as well......much respect to trip
Foh bruh lol
So you watched the video yeah
Please don’t compare this talentless abomination to Eddie Vedder dude…
You think people will still be listening to trippiered in 20 years? 🤔
So just fuck ski?
It’s sad to see someone with a A LOT of talent be real honest about this situation of other artists passing away
Reminds me of being in high school and growing up in the late 90s/early 00s during the worst stages of the opiate crisis hitting my city (happened early). By the time I graduated I had lost over 30 friends to ODs and by the time I was 30 that number was over 60. I went through addiction for 10 years myself and it was hell to get clean.
I lost 100 friends
Yep. That was a crazy time period
Seen, I graduated from high school in 03 and I saw all of my friends drop one by one. Very sad stuff, the opiate crisis was in full swing at that point
Yup thats true . I grew up round then black tar was killing youngster left and right
Yeah them opiates ain't no joke fr...and now with all the Fentanyl going around it is worse than it's EVER been unfortunately.
Passed away before they could grow up 💔
No fr I miss that fucking era, so many inspiring souls just trying to help others see themselves as a better human being
The SoundCloud/emo rap, glorifying drugs era
@@conorthompson943 yeah that’s literally all it was, and because of it I ended up addicted to opiates so fuck that moment in time I’m good right now
@@kazamiyuuji7678Im glad you’re doin better but ya cant really say “bc of that” it was your choice
@@RuiSen1 and you’re completely right on that. But I was practically a child at 13 and as you might know young people are pretty impressionable I saw my idols pop pills and drink lean. Getting peer pressured by “friends” doesn’t make it any easier, and with no parents to stop me I said fuck it and gave in. If it weren’t for my true friends I’d probably be dead by now and I’m extremely grateful that I had them.
@@kazamiyuuji7678 if you became addicted to drugs, there’s a lot more to the problem than just the music you listen to
Sadness don’t last. Let that be a lesson to us.

@@ITSJFE im joking so ur right
People make the era sound so distant because compared to many other eras, this was a really short period of time that IMO didn't even get to peak. Most of the great artist died long before their music even fell off....
i dont care if trippies new music is mid i still look up to his ability to continue in the spotlight after everyone around him died. i lost my best friends and i couldnt even breathe air without wanting to self die.
it’s not mid

A Great Point! Eras don't last as long as they used to. In the 70s technology and trends were slower than they are now since 2010s and 2020s
The fucked up thing is, all those guys sung about how they were addicted to harsh drugs. Even mentioned killing themselves in some of their songs. Then people act sad, shocked , and heartbroken when they hear they’re dead. We that blind nowadays?
Peep had tried to quit several times, his manager kept putting him on drugs and enabling him to keep a public persona. PnB was a robbery gone wrong and was either conspired by his own people or was accidentally made a target when his GF shared their location, nothing he did should've brought him harm besides being a little too trusting while successful. X had been talking about wanting to die both due to the grief of finding a friend's body in the hotel they were sharing and due to his own wrong doings, when he finally started giving back to the world and trying to make right for his wrongs as well as him finally actually wanting to live with the birth of his son, that's when he was murdered or assassinated. Juice is the only one who really died due to his vices and even then those around him say Lotti might've been enabling him
@@izanamisgravethe saddest part is that juice was about to go to rehab
