Wait that Graceful recolor is so cool. Makes me think... They should make the recolors for every kingdom, might need to be a redesign rather than recolour though, that would be really cool.
It would be nice if they gave f2p some basic agility access to help new free players also maybe to a set level or just level 1 course
i mean i can see how veteran players that invested unreal hours into unfun grinds think that some of the updates make the game too "easy"
as a new/returning player that just bought membership, i fucking love all the updates, its really fun exploring everything and the minigames make some grinds actually enjoyable (looking forward to the herblore minigame lmao)

I use 117! I have all my settings posted in a community post if you want to check, the only changes since then are toggling on "flat shading" and the autumn season theme

Hey, about this flickering on runelite borders at 10:32... Are you using Windows 11 or/and AMD GPU? I'm having the same issue and it drives me crazy sometimes.
I'm maybe blind, but I'm struggling to see the flicker - is it right before the title at 10:32 or after? I do have windows 11 though
Look at the vertical video borders - 1pixel wide blue line at 10:25 on both sides

Didn't notice at first but I see flickering from 10:17-10:32.
Then I saw it consistently on all if not most of your gameplay footage. It's small so it's not really noticeable unless I'm staring at the border.

i think the defense changes are a good idea but still really hoping they go with something other than elemental weaknesses. arbitrarily making some enemies weak to the standard spellbook is going to make other spellbooks and powered staffs just feel less interesting in my opinion. especially since standard spellbook spells are so similar to begin with.
would much rather see 3 magic damage subtypes like melee/ranged will have, and all magic attacks can fit into them. maybe even have earth/water/fire spells each have a type, and let air be sorta typeless, rolling against the average of the target's type resistances.
and if we really want to make the standard spellbook more interesting, i think the fact that it's the only one with curses is the way to go. make curses actually useful.
alternatively make each element have its own effect, like ancient spells do. burn DoT is in the game now, make fire spells do that. give earth a higher max hit, and water a chance to delay opponent's attack or something.

@@zehtre4716they clearly meant "isn't hard" from a design perspective, not a technical one. That being said, I find it very VERY difficult to believe that this would be all that difficult to implement either.

in regards to stamina changes, all jagex has to do is backport the resting feature from rs2 and problem is pretty much solved

not for a while they just did alot to the wild they dont wanna put a lot of resources into it as its mainly bots who would do it and a tiny perfent of real players. They have a lot in the pipework they will focus on that for next few years probs.
I think the agility changes are a bit silly because new players are still not going to understand how weight impacts them.
most answers new people get when asking what they should do is: "do agility for full graceful"

@@troopysnacks Does it really bother you that much? I mean this whole game is predicated on costs and charges. Gp, runes, potions, scales, shards, keys, splinters, ammunition, etc.
If you want to do a big grind or intense combat whether you’re a normie or an iron, you have to have the supplies.
It’s been this way for over 20 years. The harsh stamina system encourages you to unlock teles and eventually build a high level poh. It makes the wilderness more dangerous. It adds a layer of skill to combat.
Yeah, I’d rather just sip stamina pots. I’m fine with that.
@@mendelson6052 how on earth is making run energy less of a constant annoyance to new players going to devalue any of these, especially the teleports? Idc if you're moving 2x faster, instantly teleporting is always going to be far more appealing.
@@mendelson6052 yes it does bother me that much, just like training for a marathon the more you train the more endurance you get… the fitter you get the further you can run… the agility skill.. but that’s not how it works….
So I’ll use another example.. the better you are at cooking.. the less you burn food….. see where this is going?

If their 'HD' is 'add shadows everywhere', I already know it's not gonna be popular. OSRS players love the bright colors and simple textures that come with it. HD water texture and animation smoothing is very welcome, though. Also have some more non-interactable critters like a squirrel running past you and disappear into a tree.

The Magic changes are fine, but the Range changes are super cringe.
I can't imagine choosing a throwing knife over of ballista, because an enemy is (somehow) weaker to a throwing knife than a javelin launched by a big ass crossbow.
If im understanding the ranged changes right, there are situations where a ranged weapons ammo type would be "more effective" than the ranged weapon itself.
I.E., pull the darts out of the blowpipe, and just throw them.... because reasons.

I wouldn't even mind if they did away with the use of Stamina's altogether and made it into that of what RS3 has with never ending run. It wouldn't really change that much... so we save a tiny few inventory spaces at certain bosses big whoop lol

God alignment idea is terrible. They should not put that in the game. It’s so unnecessary. There’s so many other things they could add into the game that would be awesome. Why not gods wars 2 or some pvp battlegrounds or arenas. Or even add a bunch of uniques to all the god wars bosses. New items. Why not a bandos helm? Or zammy robes from kril new bis mage/pray robes like proselyte but for mage .. I dunno I’m just typing as I’m thinking but there’s so much you can add to the game and definitely not god alignment prayer and sailing skill. Like why can’t we explore the sea and go to different islands with content, why does it need to be a skill to grind ? Just make it explorable anyways with activities to do
Yea it seems like they’re trying to come up with new prayers just for the sake of adding new stuff… The fact that these new prayers make you scratch your head and say “huh” at first glance indicates a problem. if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
easy make run infinite and make sprinting (3 tiles per tick or even every other tick) go off of run energy. boom solved
Imo, the run energy consumption and recharge rate should not be changed. Bring back resting and rest stops from rs2 instead.

No. 99 agility should make your character more athletic and agile... making them fitter... not just smashing stams... but you probably don't know about getting fitter..
@@troopysnacks I used to be in quite good shape. I used to go swimming 3 times a week and had pretty good chest/shoulder strength. Then I moved to another city because of a job offer (where I still work) and there is no good swimming hall in this city.
And now I'm just skin and bones... :/
Though, my work is quite physical, so I am by no means "unhealthy". I have a few shorts on my channel that may reveal what I work with.
