My favorite infinite combo is Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated assault. When savage Ventmaw attacks add three red and three green mana and it doesn't empty that turn. Aggravated assault says pay two red and three generic. Get an additional combat phase. Infinite combat and infinite green or red mana. Run it in my Ur-dragon deck. 😎🐉
Came up with one for my pillowfort im excited to try. Kaho minamo historian(searches for teferis protection) and grand abolisher. Basically you disappear every turn so no one can kill you and grand abolisher keeps them from doing anything on your turn when you come back. Then you just rinse and repeat till you get one of your win cons and play it from inside your walls at your leisure.
painter's servant + Iona Shield of Emeria is horrific, and why Iona is banned in commander. Put those two together, and they read "your opponent can't play the game with anything in their hand or deck". sure they've got their field, but its not particularly likely to have a solution to the problem posed
One of the EDH lessons my playgroup experienced was to never disregard cards that seem subpar(in this case, Blasting Station). That person put that card in their 99 for a reason, and it's generally to crush you. My favorite two card combo is not an infinite loop, but it certainly can end the game: Enchanted Evening + Aura Thief }:)
My favorite was turntimber ranger and arcane adaptation/ xenograft, When turntimber comes down it makes a wolf ally token and can place a count, and because an ally entered the battlefield it makes a wolf ally token...... And you can add to that combo with a few of the other ally cards that either mill, drain life, or deal dmg.
Happy that you include the niv-mizzet. I play this combo in the past. I played a combo with this devoted elves. I got him and another g/b creature(forget the name). This creature can spend 1 g/b remove a -1-1 counter to get +3+3. so i just got e creature with infinite Attack and i sacrifie it with a sorcery to deal infinite damage to the opponent.
my favorite true infinite combo is polyraptor and marauding raptor, love pulling this off on people and explaining that if they cannot interact to stop it, the duel is a draw XD brings tears of joy every time!
@@Dicksmackerson yeah there's plenty of ways to win with it but i purposely don't run them because most people I have played have never had a forced draw in edh and I love their reactions
There's an alternative for the Basalt Monolith combo, and it's good for colorless decks, instead of the creature, play Forsaken Monument, it says "whenever you tap a permanent for Colorless, add an additional Colorless" So you tap the Monolith for 4, pay the 3 to untap it, you still have one mana in the pool, and you repeat the process
An alternate to the Basalt Monolith Combo is to use an old aura called "Power Artifact". It's an aura that costs 2 Blue and reduces the cost of enchanted artifact's activated abilities by 2. Same idea: Monolith adds 3, untap with 1, and so on and so forth This same card can also be used on Grim Monolith so you can go off a little faster (Grim Monolith costs 2, taps for 3, then untaps for 4, so you still net 1 colorless)
Since you mentioned Basalt Monolith, I'll point out the interaction with Wake Thrasher: it's a 1/1 Merfolk Soldier for 2U that reads "Whenever a permanent you control becomes untapped, Wake Thrasher gets +1/+1 until end of turn." So just slam that Lord of Atlantis for that islandwalk, tap and untap Basalt Monolith to infinity and kill your opponent dead!
I remember the Sanguine Blood trick, used to use it with Beacon of Immortality (double target players life total). My one and only win condition in my Black/White/Blue 'I'm going to waste you time...FOREVER' deck, infinite life, infinite mana, infinite cards, infinite library, infinite combos that did nothing but waste your time. Ah the good old days. I forgot my favourite. Panoptic Mirror with Beacon of Tomorrow...infinite turns.
I have it in my vampire deck that is specifically geared towards stealing life in general. Even having only one of these enchantments out is still very effective.
It was 1998. I was at my local game store for their Friday night tournament. There was like 25 people and we decided to play a giant free for all game. Being the dastardly fooker I am, I brought in my infinite combo deck. I think it was Goblin Bombardment, Enduring Renewal and Phryxian Walker. I sneakily put the combo together over a 4-5 turns and then I killed everybody all at once. Such a nerdy yet amazing moment. I nearly won the tourney that night too with my blue tempo deck. One of those nights I traded one of the two Mox Diamonds I had pulled out of packs. That was probably karma for what I had done lol.
Another classic combo is the one with Helm of Obedience and Rest in Peace or Leyline of the Void: Helm of Obedience reads "pay x, tap, target player puts cards from the top of library to the graveyard until x cards are put this way or a creature is put in the graveyard this way". Preventing cards ever going to the graveyard you end up exiling the entire library paying just one mana.
Pregame action, Gemstone Caverns. Beginning of your upkeep, exile Elvish Spirit Guide, cast Flash. That shit was so hilarious on the rare occasion I pulled it out that my opponents weren't even mad it was a banned deck. Edit: this makes me want to make a Just Infinite Combos EDH deck with a Sliver Queen commander.
Few of my favorite 2 card combos: Aggravated assault + savage ventmaw gives you infinite combats. The Locust God + Sage of the Falls lets you draw your entire deck, although you have to discard every time but it lets you grab whatever you want and get a silly amount of 1/1s with flying and haste. Also is actually infinite if you have an eldrazi in your library to shuffle your graveyard back in. Turntimber ranger + arcane adaptation/maskwood nexus gives you an infinitely big ranger and infinite 2/2 dogs. Kiki jiki + fatestitcher/zealous conscripts gives you infinite tokens of either conscripts or stitcher depending on what you use. Also idk if it counts as infinite but leveler + thassa's oracle just wins the game on the spot.
This one was always harder to pull off, but I ran a Thopter Assembly/Time Sieve deck. Thopter Assembly: At the beginning of your upkeep, if you control no thopters other than Thopter Assembly, return Thopter Assembly to it's owner's hand and put five 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature tokens with flying onto the battlefield. Time Sieve: tap, sacrifice five artifacts: Take an extra turn after this one. Beginning of upkeep, return Thopter Assembly to your hand and get five thopter tokens. Tap Time Sieve and sac the five thopters for your extra turn. Then play Thopter Assembly back onto the battlefield and end your turn.
I'm a simple man who started Magic in the Odyssey Block. Back then my friend had a combo that I hated to see come out with a passion. He would find a way to get the Worldgorger Dragon to his Graveyard, then cast Animate Dead on it. We knew once we saw that Dragon in his graveyard, that the end was near... Sometimes he'd just say that it goes off to infinity and the game ends in a draw.
My favorite combo is Warstorm Surge and Sekki, Seasons Guide. Basically Sekki comes into play, you nuke Sekki with warstorm surge, prevent the damage by making spirit tokens, when they come into play you nuke them and point the damage to your opponent. Then that causes Sekki to regenerate and you can do it over and over again.
My favorite requires more than 2, but the 3rd is just to end the loop, Animate Dead + a Worldgorger Dragon and any other creature to later target in the graveyard.
so for the sanguine bond there is a much easier way to use it: Blood tribute, its a 7 drop with a kicker (tap 3 vampires) and the effect is target player loses half there life, if you kicked it you gain that much life, it is a instant KO, also there is sorin's vengeance, also a 7 drop, deals 10 damage to one player and you gain 10 life, instant KO vs decks that don't ramp life
Pulled an Exqusite Blood the other day and was thinking of putting it in my Witherbloom pest token life drain/gain deck. Now it's in. Looking forward to seeing it work. Folks may see it coming haha. Worth a try
Infinite combo I have in my Zombie Commander deck. Rooftop Storm + Acererak the Archlich. Rooftop Storm lets you play Zombies for 0 mana. Acererak when he comes into play, if you have not completed the Dungeon Tomb of Annihilation. You Return Acererak to your hand and venture into a dungeon. You will choose to venture into Lost Mine of Phandelver. 1st venture is Scry 1, 2nd venture is create 1/1 Goblin or a Treasure token. 3rd Venture is Each opponent looses 1 life and you gain 1 Life. 4th venture is Draw a Card. Then you keep repeating this dungeon over and over.
I always loved putting a piddly little unblockable creature on the board and then casting a spellbinder with savage beating imprinted on it. Attach it to the unblockable creature and game over. The first time I played a deck with this in it was a 5 person free for all and when it hit the board, I killed everyone in one turn. I hit you for a point and get to untap and have another attack. Oh, I hit you for another point, rinse and repeat. 😂
Two more pretty classic combos: Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion (make sure it deals enough damage to itself) Deadeye Navigator + Palinchron or other creature that untaps lands on ETB (I'm partial to Great Whale myself)
exquisite blood works with a lot of other cards, like for example Vito, too. also Mindcrank turned out to be quite efficient with Syr Konrad, the Grim, although not as effecient as with duskmantle guildmage. Also, one combo i recently discovered - if you have Pitiless Plunderer and Chatterfang, Squirrell General on the table, and you have at least one other squirrell and one black mana, you can kill off anything on the table. because you sacrifice the squirell to give something +1/-1 until end of turn. because your creature died, you get treasure from plunderer and because you are making treasure, you get also a new squirrell. and you can repeat this process for as long as anything is still alive on the battlefield. it's pretty nasty :D also, Mephidros Vampire and Triskelion is a good way to keep the table empty (if you, you know, don't want to do the usual Triskelion + black Mikaeus combo and kill your opponents instead...)
My favourite infinite combo will always be giving Deathbringer Thoctar death touch. Back in highschool my friend had an elf deck where it could combo off and basically no one could beat him because it would drop his whole deck in basically 1 turn, then he would just swing the next, but the one time I beat him was by having a Thoctar with a counter already on it, then top decking a Death Baron so that I could just clear his whole deck off the field: Take a +1/+1 counter off Deathbringer Thoctar, do 1 damage to target, the target dies because of deathtouch, get the +1/+1 counter back.
Staff of domination in an elf deck is my favorite combo. Any creature that taps for 5 or more mana, its not hard in an elf deck. Get infinite mana, life, and draw cards.
Lol that metalworker+staff of domination combo though, I run alot of artifacts though plus draw so I'm generally always mana positive when metalworker is untapped
chain of smog also works with Professor Onyx, same theory. there are a couple cards that work with it. Basalt Monolith similarly works with anything that either increases mana yields of permanents, or decreases activated costs.
I’ve been experimenting with creatures like Scute Swarm with landfall abilities that generate copies then mutating creatures like Auspicious Starrix onto them so you end up with hundreds of copies early on. Still ironing out the weird parts but it works for sure.
Thank you for telling me I'm building Zirda Commander. However, you left out the most important clone target for Splinter/Kiki: Zealous Conscripts, for it goes infinite with only red color identity.
You have Archelos, fatestitcher, Sakura tribe scout, ancient green warden and a retreat to coralhelm in play with a bounce land in hand. Tap the fatestitcher to tap down anything you want. Tap the tribe scout to out in the bounce land. With Archelos you can tap it for mana. With the 2 coralhelm triggers, thanks to green warden, you can untap both the scout and fate stitcher. Repeat infinite times until your opponents have everything tapped. You can repeat this process during your opponents upkeep to keep them out if mana as well.
In a DC Grenzo havoc raiser deck i play a combo in "one" card : goblin recruiter I play it on T2 and made that pile : Conspicuous snoop, torch courier, kiki jiki So t3 draw and play the conspicuous, you reveal and play the torch courier, sacrifice it to give celerity to conspicuous who can now tap to the abilities of kiki jiki (cause his now revealed) for copy himself, do a million of copy then copy the goblin recruiter and go to the mogg fanatic, sacrifice your million snoop to get million damage. Not that hard to disrupt but i love that combo Otherwise i think all players have to know the cards who start many combo like Ral, kiki jiki, dualcaster mage, doomsday, mizzet, umbral mantle, zealous conscript... Even if you dont know all the combo if you can identify the dangerous cards its a big advantage
scholar of the ages + ghostly flicker+(any blue card here) flicker the scholar and you get the flicker back along with another instant or sorcery. Nyx lotus + paradox engine cast anything using only nyx lotus (and other nonland permanents) and then untap all of em afterward. 2 different combos that can be put together for infinite power. enter the battlefield effects are just so overpowered. :)
I designed (don't have the cards to build). A splinter twin deck once... Completely different than anything out there. Uses captain of the mists (human wizard), which untaps when another human ETB, voidmage prodigy, which sacrifices wizards to counter spells, and Phyrexian altar to give infinite colored mana. Put splinter twin on captain or prodigy and you have infinite creatures. Have altar at you have infinite mana and infinite free counterspell.
Pila-Pala and Grand Architect, because who doesn't love the wacky Pila-Pala. It's so fun to say! Now that I think about it, you could 3 card combo with Pila-Pala, Splinter Twin and Mana Echoes. Infinite mana of all kinds. That's really fun right there
One of my favorite infinite two card combos has animar and the ancestral statue animar makes it so that every create put in animar gets +1/+1 and for every counter animar has reduced the mana cost of creatures by that amount and the statue makes it so that when it is in you can return a card to your hand so you just keep playing the statue until animar has 4 counters and the statue is free and then you can make animar stronger for infinity and play any colorless mana cards for free and colored mana cards for barely any mana
One I’ve recently discovered is Ravenform and Ranar, the ever watchful. With ranar, every time you exile a card, you get a spirit token. You can pay two mana to exile the ravenform card and pay a water mana to bring it back, and just loop it until you get the amount of spirits you want/need. Plus, every time you bring back Ravenform, you get to exile a target card. Insane.
That's not going to work more than once. When you pay one blue mana to cast Ravenform from exile (put there by Fortelling it), it then does its thing, you get a Spirit if Ranar is out, but then the Ravenform goes to the graveyard, same as if you had played it from your hand. It doesn't go back to exile after playing it. Still a great card, but no infinite combo here
A great alternative for Sanguine Bond to combo with Exquisite Blood is Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. He's two mana cheaper, plus he can give all creatures you control lifelink until end of turn, but because he is a creature, he is more subject to removal spells.
I have won many games with the Niv/Curiosity combo. But it was the older Niv. Also, that infinite mill was a secondary win con for a brutal mill deck I had. I miss those decks.
The first one I figured out myself when I was a kid was Intruder Alarm + Voice of the Woods for infinite 7/7 trampling elementals XD But my beloved cEDH format is built on those turbo wins (that's why we love having at least one Stax player), and right now Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation is one of the cheapest and safer ways for a turn 1 win with the right mana setup Fuuurthermore, if Flash wasn't banned, you could win on Turn 0 by beginning the game with Gemstone Caverns and exiling a Simian or Elvish Spirit Guide to Flash a Protean Hulk which dies and fetch a multitude of combinations that win on the spot like: tons of artifact creatures with X (zero for the sum of the value) on the mana cost that come into play and die and some aristocrats like Disciple of the Vault that take opponents life on dying triggers :P If anyone read to this point and would like to see marvelous Turn 2 wins in cEDH, look for the cEDH TV TH-cam Channel where Mons showcases marvelous ones in the "guess the gameplay winner" videos ^^
@@Seltaeb_ Since I'm a Judge I began accompanying Nikachu since his series on cheaters. Need to train my eye to identify those :P But in fact cEDH is my favourite paper format, and no doubt Mons deserves more recognition in being a bastion of positivity for us \o/
Here's a more specific infinite for 1v1. Mindslaver, Sen Triplets and Academy Ruins. Have the Sen Triplets out and using their effect to target a player so they can't do anything with their hand. Play and use Mindslaver then use Academy Ruins to put the Slaver back on top. So basically you're controlling your opponent infinitely can be broken but so can most of these loops haha.
On MTG Arena I use Exquisite Blood with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Dina, Soul Steeper. My friend also used a combo on me with a card called High Tide I think and another one with Thropters
i'm trying to build a combo deck in pauper. i looked for some lists, and the one that caught my eye the most was the servant of tymaret(or night market lookout. they do the same thing basically)/karametra's favor/freed from the real combo. basically, servant of tymaret/night market lookout drain the opponent for 1 when they get untapped. enchant one with karametra's favor and they can tap to one mana of any color. enchant them with freed from the real and they can tap or untap with 1 blue mana. so tap them for blue and untap them with that blue. everytime it gets untapped it drains and you win with infinite damage. sadly i still have to win a single game with this deck, it's janky asf. but i like it a lot nontheless
My favorite combo is Gonti's Aether Heart whirler virtuoso and decoction module after creating as many thopters as you want if you already had 6 energy use Gonti's Aether Heart's 2nd ability.
Love your channel almost as much as I hate infinite combos lol. My group doesn't even allow that or cards that say you win or you lose on them. Or ignore that effect as it isn't how magic is supposed to work. Even RG says he hates that kind of playing in mtg. When the creator hates it, you know it's for good reason.
Bloodchief's Ascension is another option to combo with Mindcrank though you have to either have Bloodchief's Ascension on the field for 3 end steps for the combo to go off or proliferate twice once you get a single counter on it.
Zaxara + Freed from the Real (or Pemmin's aura) for Infinite mana of any color. Zax taps for 2 of any 1 (Make it blue) and both enchantments will untap enchanted creature for 1 blue. Rinse and repeat netting infinite blue, then use the infinite blue to untap and make whatever colors you need. Zaxara is a fun commander, if Pemmin's aura comes out and isn't immediately answered, it will blow up the table with the +1/-1 ability to target creature, then give my commander flying. Sylvalla + Staff of Dominion (Also needs a creature with power 8 or greater on board) it's a bit more complicated than 2 card combo, it's easily stopped due to more removal being played.
another card that combos well with mindcrank is bloodchief ascension, though its a little slower cause you need to get 3 quest counters on bloodcheif ascension and a way to deal 2 damage to start the combo.
The infinite elf combo can be made better by adding Alter of the Brood which will mill your opponent each time a creature enters the battlefield. Sunstrike Legionaire is also a cheaper mana cost version of Midnight Guard. If you build the deck right it's about an 85% chance to win on turn 3 or 4.
Hi body!! I prefer and frequently use "exquisite blood" with Vito thorn of the dusk rose, more cheap and very strong when you play with the righteous angel...... my lovely orzhov combo... gracias por tus videos.... Saludos desde Peru!
I still like the infinite self mill with monolith and dread return + gitaxian probe or anything that draws a card Easy win when putting your entire deck into the graveyard and reviving laboratory maniac. Nice combo that is playable in commander as well ;)
I like Aurelia, the Warleader + Helm of the Host = infinite combats. It holds a special place in my heart because I pulled it off once by using Act of Treason to steal my opponent's Aurelia.
anything with illusionist bracers. The old classic Earthcraft/squirrel nest, Dualcaster mage with copy creature spells, Aluren,-Kavu combo, Nomads and clerics to get infinite toughness, Infinite Turns with panoptic mirror and any Turn-giving spell.... yust to name a few.
Curiosity also works with Brailin, Skyshark Rider. Move to discard. Discard, deals 1 to each opponent, gets a +1/+1 counter. Repeat. If someone is somehow still alive, you have a gigantic creature. Tip for Sanguine Blood combo. Damage counts as loss of life. So if another opponent attacks someone else and deals damage, you win. Acererack and Rooftop Storm. Infinite Dungeon ventures. Venture through Lost Mine of Phandelver. Path: Scry 1, create a treasure, everyone loses 1 you gain 1, draw a card. We call it "@ss crack combo" 😂. Animar, Soul of Elements and Ancestral Statue. I call it "Giganto-Mar". When Animar has 4 counters on it, Statue is free. Bounce the Statue with it's own ability. Repeat until Lethal.
My favorite was Niv-Mizzet Parun+Curiosity because I have an Izzet deck based on damage and copy, so I plan to buy Curiosity and I already have Parun in the deck.
Real quick..in commander... that niv mizzet combo can only work in the right circumstances. Your deck only consists of 100 cards. Each opponent starts with 40 life, totaling 120 damaging needing to be done. With a starting deck of 92 cards (7 in hand + commander in command zone), and then your first draw step, even with all the cards needed to execute on turn 2 or 3, you would still need to somehow get 20-30 damage in, otherwise you will run out of cards to draw and kill yourself before finishing every opponent. Of course in other formats I'm sure it would work fine since you usually play one opponent and their deck is much smaller
my favorits are (in cedh): aminatou + spark double + oath of teferi = infinite mana (when you have a scry land, you won) and in my niv mizzet paroon i play copy sources with frantic search and narsetts reversal = infinite mana and carddraw
still using the bloods combo on my friends to this day and now its my wincon in my commander deck with some other cards like guildmage that do the same stuff
I always loved the double kiora's followers and an equipment to copy the untapped ability which would give u infinite mana by untapping a land and the other kiora's follower
A remember a blue combo with that untap creature while buying/discarding with Prodigal Sorceror, so you basically deal 1 damage, buy a card, discard that card, untap the creature, deal 1 damage...
Jarad Golgari Lich Lord and Phyrexian Devourer is pretty nice! You can also use Devoted Druid and QuillSpike to get infinite +1 +1s and attack or burn with Jarad.

How about the infamous 2 card combo Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Triskelion?
The strongest infinite in magic is me spending money to get a card
40 dollars for a rectangle :)
And perpetually paying your credit card bills for that expensive card and more…
PROXIES, BABY!
Let’s end that loop and trade.

I've ran the Guildmage/Mindcrank combo for years now. It's gotten to the point to where if one of them hits the field I'm the new immediate target
Mill was my first true love in MTG. Just thought the concept was really neat as was the art for it.
Same here. Also run painters servant and grindstone since forever lol
Ran that and Sanguine Bond/Exquisite blood combo in the same deck. Gonna ad the Niv Mizzet one in there too. Maybe one of the mana combos.

Basically you disappear every turn so no one can kill you and grand abolisher keeps them from doing anything on your turn when you come back. Painter's Servant + Grindstone = Favorite 2 card combo in all of MTG history! I've loved this deck since its inception, and before mill was cool ;)
It only mills out one player at a time, though... same for Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace/Leyline of the Void.
painter's servant + Iona Shield of Emeria is horrific, and why Iona is banned in commander. Put those two together, and they read "your opponent can't play the game with anything in their hand or deck". sure they've got their field, but its not particularly likely to have a solution to the problem posed
Green blue deck. Painters servent+Grindstone for 1 on 1.
Painter's servent+compost+jaces erassure, mill everyone🔥

You get the same effect from Maskwood Nexus. Costs one more mana but can go in any deck

my favorite true infinite combo is polyraptor and marauding raptor, love pulling this off on people and explaining that if they cannot interact to stop it, the duel is a draw XD brings tears of joy every time!
Yes but if you also have fling or thud you could just throw marauding raptors power at them once it gets to a number you want it to for the win
@@Dicksmackerson yeah there's plenty of ways to win with it but i purposely don't run them because most people I have played have never had a forced draw in edh and I love their reactions
The strongest combo in magic: Magic R&D + not playtesting new cards
You mean the "Nuts and Bolts" precon from the original Mirrodin Block?
The only infinite combo I know is my never ending losing spree.
Some say it's still going on even 'til this day...
I won 1 game par 30 against my wife so I know how you feel dude!
I feel your pain. been there.

Panoptic Mirror with Beacon of Tomorrow...infinite turns.
sounds like you had an infinite combo to lose all your play groups

"Don't get drunk on O negative" is some quality advice.
But you should get drunk on Type O Negative
@@usererror4716 Everyone should get drunk on Type O Negative at least once a week. Especially on October Rust.

This video was informative and entertaining, loved the puns. Would like to see more in the future.
I just got comboed on turn 2. Thanks a lot, Nikachu!

Pregame action, Gemstone Caverns. Beginning of your upkeep, exile Elvish Spirit Guide, cast Flash.

I loved the combo Squirrel Nest+ Earth craft combo. It's just nutty.
Walking Ballista x Heliod, Sun Crowned is pretty cool
true, works with triskelion too so its even more consistent
Unless you're facing it
My favorite requires more than 2, but the 3rd is just to end the loop, Animate Dead + a Worldgorger Dragon and any other creature to later target in the graveyard.
so for the sanguine bond there is a much easier way to use it: Blood tribute, its a 7 drop with a kicker (tap 3 vampires) and the effect is target player loses half there life, if you kicked it you gain that much life, it is a instant KO, also there is sorin's vengeance, also a 7 drop, deals 10 damage to one player and you gain 10 life, instant KO vs decks that don't ramp life
There's also Revival//Revenge. Revenge double's your life total and halves your opponent's. It's 1 mana cheaper too, but you need to be in WB.
Nice new spice in the editing! 👌
@@NikachuMTG thank you new editor!
Two more pretty classic combos:
Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion (make sure it deals enough damage to itself)
Deadeye Navigator + Palinchron or other creature that untaps lands on ETB (I'm partial to Great Whale myself)
exquisite blood works with a lot of other cards, like for example Vito, too. also Mindcrank turned out to be quite efficient with Syr Konrad, the Grim, although not as effecient as with duskmantle guildmage.
To me it's the most fun to think of ways to update new hard rules or specific cards to disable infinity combos possibilities :D
Great video! My personal favorite is the Twinflame and duelcaster mage infinite combo. For 5 mana, pump out infinite 2/2 cheeky wizard bois lmao
Guilty Conscience and Stuffy Doll was one of my favorites years ago.
Thank you for telling me I'm building Zirda Commander.
However, you left out the most important clone target for Splinter/Kiki: Zealous Conscripts, for it goes infinite with only red color identity.
you can do the same with kinnan btw
You have Archelos, fatestitcher, Sakura tribe scout, ancient green warden and a retreat to coralhelm in play with a bounce land in hand. Tap the fatestitcher to tap down anything you want. Tap the tribe scout to out in the bounce land. With Archelos you can tap it for mana. With the 2 coralhelm triggers, thanks to green warden, you can untap both the scout and fate stitcher. Repeat infinite times until your opponents have everything tapped. You can repeat this process during your opponents upkeep to keep them out if mana as well.
In a DC Grenzo havoc raiser deck i play a combo in "one" card : goblin recruiter
I play it on T2 and made that pile :
Conspicuous snoop, torch courier, kiki jiki
So t3 draw and play the conspicuous, you reveal and play the torch courier, sacrifice it to give celerity to conspicuous who can now tap to the abilities of kiki jiki (cause his now revealed) for copy himself, do a million of copy then copy the goblin recruiter and go to the mogg fanatic, sacrifice your million snoop to get million damage.
Not that hard to disrupt but i love that combo
Otherwise i think all players have to know the cards who start many combo like Ral, kiki jiki, dualcaster mage, doomsday, mizzet, umbral mantle, zealous conscript...
I used to play Sliver Queen Mana Echoes in Commander. Excellent!!
1. Resplendent mentor + Famished Paladin, 2. Devoted druid+ Quillspike, 3. Conspiracy ((4.) or Arcane Adaptation)+ Turntimber Ranger, 5.sorcerer´s Wand + Famished Paladin + Squre´s devoution, 6. Marauding Raptor + Polyraptor + Healing grace (to stop it), 7. Mystic sanctuary + Time Warp + Meloku the Clouded Mirror, 8. Axe bane Gurdian (+ Defenders creatures) + Galvanic alchemist (or Freed from the Real), 9. Freed from the Real+ Arbor elf + Forest land + utopia sprawl (or other land enchantments - its slower), 10. Training grounds + izzet guild mage + (2x)runaway steam kin + Skewer the Critics (its longer to build)
A nice one I added to my mono white edh deck..
Sram senior edificer, paradox engine, and conviction.
I have won many games with the Niv/Curiosity combo. But it was the older Niv.
Also, that infinite mill was a secondary win con for a brutal mill deck I had.
I miss those decks.
The first one I figured out myself when I was a kid was Intruder Alarm + Voice of the Woods for infinite 7/7 trampling elementals XD
But my beloved cEDH format is built on those turbo wins (that's why we love having at least one Stax player), and right now Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation is one of the cheapest and safer ways for a turn 1 win with the right mana setup
Fuuurthermore, if Flash wasn't banned, you could win on Turn 0 by beginning the game with Gemstone Caverns and exiling a Simian or Elvish Spirit Guide to Flash a Protean Hulk which dies and fetch a multitude of combinations that win on the spot like: tons of artifact creatures with X (zero for the sum of the value) on the mana cost that come into play and die and some aristocrats like Disciple of the Vault that take opponents life on dying triggers :P
If anyone read to this point and would like to see marvelous Turn 2 wins in cEDH, look for the cEDH TV TH-cam Channel where Mons showcases marvelous ones in the "guess the gameplay winner" videos ^^
Certainly wasn't expecting to see a cedh comment here, let alone one plugging Mons!
@@Seltaeb_ Since I'm a Judge I began accompanying Nikachu since his series on cheaters. Need to train my eye to identify those :P
But in fact cEDH is my favourite paper format, and no doubt Mons deserves more recognition in being a bastion of positivity for us \o/
@@RafaelAAMerlo for real! I've been following him for ages, so glad he's been able to collaborate with The99 more lately, they mesh so well.
cedh players are here! my people! usually i’m that stax player, because that’s what i enjoy :)
@@possiblypigeon Thank you for your service in holding the Turbo Ad Nauseams back XD
It has been a while since I've heard a flex seal joke and it really got me
I'm buidling my first EDH deck with Exquisite Blood and I can't wait to use it
My commander deck back in 2013 was Mikaeus Unhallowed and Triskellion. Triskellion plus undying means infinite damage.
I see a pattern in the titles: "AMAZING" "CRAZY" "POWERFUL". :D
Congrats on the 200k video!
Yes! Thank you!
Basalt monolith + mesmeric orb mills your whole deck. Reanimate a thassa’s oracle and there you go
infinite elf's was my fav. im making a pauper deck so thats perfect! thanks yo!
Old Blue Enchantment called "Power Artifact" also pairs with Basalt Monolith, (and a whole lot of others lol)
NivMizzet firemind also works for the curiosity combo. I used to have friends to play MTG with until I found that combo. Been a long time lol
Thanks!
Basalt Monolith also goes infinite with Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy. Because Kinnan makes the monolith tap for 4 instead of only 3.
nice!
That was fun, thank you for making this video
You’re welcome!
I still like the infinite self mill with monolith and dread return + gitaxian probe or anything that draws a card
Easy win when putting your entire deck into the graveyard and reviving laboratory maniac. Nice combo that is playable in commander as well ;)
I like Aurelia, the Warleader + Helm of the Host = infinite combats.
It holds a special place in my heart because I pulled it off once by using Act of Treason to steal my opponent's Aurelia.
Kikki Jikki paired with Zealous Conscripts is another really nice two card combo.
I just got back into MTG after a long time away. My favorite 2 turn COMMON kill is 'About Face' & 'Tireless Tribe'.
Oooh going with the Pauper All-star combo! Until the format was destroyed by all the new stuff, that was a fun deck to play
Worldgorger Dragon plus Animate Dead will always be one of my favorites
The curiosity combo also works with Niv-Mizzet the Firemind. Also Ophidian Eye can replace Curiosity for the combo.
And instead of curiosity you can use keen sense... 😉
@@thatdudergaming1424 only if you want to add a third colour into the deck
I use this in a dragon deck with Ramos. I run all 5.
Chain of Smog is also gonna go infinite with any magecraft abilities you've got on the board.
...wonder if they're gonna ban it
Any legacy-only combo that requires you to discard your hand ain't getting banned. They just wait until you're hell bent and then counter.
anything with illusionist bracers.
Of course in other formats I'm sure it would work fine since you usually play one opponent and their deck is much smaller
my favorits are (in cedh):
aminatou + spark double + oath of teferi = infinite mana (when you have a scry land, you won)
and in my niv mizzet paroon i play copy sources with frantic search and narsetts reversal = infinite mana and carddraw
I’ve always loved guilty conscience+stuffy doll, or brash taunter if you want to kill everyone instead of just one.
still using the bloods combo on my friends to this day and now its my wincon in my commander deck with some other cards like guildmage that do the same stuff
I always loved the double kiora's followers and an equipment to copy the untapped ability which would give u infinite mana by untapping a land and the other kiora's follower
Much love for Duskmantle and Mindcrank. One of the staples of my Phenax commander.
I had a standard deck with the infinite life drain combo. It was not good, but the one time it went off it was beautiful.
A remember a blue combo with that untap creature while buying/discarding with Prodigal Sorceror, so you basically deal 1 damage, buy a card, discard that card, untap the creature, deal 1 damage...
I remember playing vs splinter/pester....it was stopped by a deck I built years prior to it with sunstrike legionnaire and elemental mastery....
Sanguine/Exquisite is my favorite, I've used it one time in a 6 player multiplayer game at most. People were mad.
Helm of Obedience/Rest In Peace if probably on of my favorite combos in MTG
Jarad Golgari Lich Lord and Phyrexian Devourer is pretty nice! You can also use Devoted Druid and QuillSpike to get infinite +1 +1s and attack or burn with Jarad.
Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle and High Tide + Palinchron come to mind.
like the new animations, but its gonna take time getting use to
