Even at this time of the year, this nature in this place is wonderful and some fantastic views. I like those rock formations and the caves. Great place to set up camp in case of bad weather. Thank you for sharing🙂👍
He was a trooper & had a great time. Passed smooth out before sunset 😂. But said he’s ready to go again. That makes two of my kids who have ventured out in the backcountry overnight, gotta keep working on the other three!
Ha! No Snapchat, ate mashed potatoes out of a ziplock, asleep before sunset, awoke to frozen shoes. Annnnnd he wants to go again. He’s got what it takes.
From I40, it’s about an hour north of Russellville. Here’s some of the other waterfalls in the area: th-cam.com/video/fB-l84Vw6a8/w-d-xo.html Thanks as always for watching brother. ✌🏼
That’s the flattest spot above twin falls, yes. Better campsites down along Richland Creek, really nice one close to Richland Falls. Pray for rain and a cold front if going in early September!
I usually go down end of July but gonna try a little later this time gonna try to go a few times this year. I’ve never came from the top always the campground. What’s your relive?
We saw one day hiker with his dog @ Twin Falls, and a group of 4 day hikers heading to the Castles on our way out. It was mid-week, though. The vast majority of people visiting this wilderness are there for all the waterfalls near Falling Water Creek. There are a few decent campsites above the falls, & some really nice ones on Richland Creek itself where I think you’d find some solitude even on a weekend. People obviously camp in the Sandstone Castles as well, but……not sure how I feel about that. Fire rings inside the caves isn’t exactly “leaving no trace.”
Nice video. I did this route in May and I couldn't believe it took so long to get around to it. One of the best in the state.
Great views, love the jams as well
Very beautiful cave

Sweet video. Great shots and editing.
Hey thanks, James. Chris Stapleton sang it best - you definitely “Gotta get down, gotta get down to Arkansas!”
Cool trip. Great video Chris.
Thanks, Wes. I was gonna text ya later, but the wife gave her stamp of approval for March. Let the planning begin - JMT & Wooo PIG!
Another great Ozark trip Chris. Beautiful rock arches, waterfalls and views. Your hiking partner looked like he was having a big time.

Some impressive rock formations and waterfalls on this one. Looks like a successful first trip. A backpacker is born 🤙

This is absolutely beautiful area to hike. Thanks for sharing👍
Thanks for watching, Thomas. Richland Creek is tough to beat. ✌🏼
Yep there's another good one.
Yessssir. It’s a shame the OHT had to be routed around this wilderness area, would probably be the most scenic section!
What an awesome place ! Not sure where this is , gonna have to find it . Maybe even look into hiking it . Awesome ! Thanks for sharing it !!

Count me in, bro. Just count me in.
This is all in your own backyard, my dude. THE Natural State!
So is that the campsite above the falls? Planning on taking a trip with a couple buddies beginning of September.

I’ve been looking into camping out there soon! Did y’all run into other hikers & campers?

@@DixonHikes yeah I’m trying to set up a tent around twin falls on a weekday and was hoping for some peace and privacy. Thanks!
