- BEAUTIFUL AND WEIRD WHITE TEMPLE - Chiang Rai, Thailand
OUR LAST DAY IN THAILAND! We woke up in Chiang Rai with one goal in mind... visit the beautiful White Temple, Wat Rong Khun. Unfortunately, we got a bit of a late start to the day and arrived around 11 AM... the same time as every tour bus and we were swamped with people. Regardless, this temple was still breathtaking with it's unique architecture and art... but the inside paintings were probably some of the weirdest art and last things we would expect to see inside a Buddhist temple.

I can't imagine how tiring it is to clean up the temple since it's white in color. There's no coverings above it.

We hired a tuktuk driver for the day. I fell in love with the White & Blue temples, nothing like I've ever seen before. The Black museum was interesting lol

The NYC Couple Yeah it did take us a full day. I'd definitely recommend the Blue Temple, less touristy & the architectural design is mind blowing. I've seen a lot of temples so it was nice to see these ones. Looking forward to your next vlog 😎

That was so creepy and beautiful all at the same time.. but so many people.. still totally worth it.. remember seeing that picture on Instagram.. it's like watching the behind the scenes footage ^^ (So glad they recycle those bags)

It's not a white house but for them is a white temple! A lot of visitors coming in and go and taken a lot of selfies, any strange feeling when you gets inside for it looks spooky.. 👻👻👻😎

Haha instagram photos are always misleading, that is why i dont use it basicly. The white temple is one of the biggest tourist places in thailand, it would be 1000 times worse if it was closer to bangkok though. I have seen vlogs on the blue temple when they were only like a couple other people there, the white temple is always busy though, even if it is raining i have seen vlogs where people need to get pictures.
Yeah, we're so bummed we didn't have enough time to see them all but we hope to go back. Chiang Mai was beautiful, we needed more time! Our friends went to the white temple right before closing and they said there were hardly any people there... clearly we chose the worst time to visit 🙈 💜Amanda
