It always frustrates me how torches in horror games are so shit. I have a torch the size of my thumb, powered by a single AA battery, which illuminates my entire room when I turn it on. And yet, no matter the size of the torch, or how it's powered, the ones in these games always seem to illuminate a tiny circle and then fade to nothing within a couple of metres.
10:00, the component in Lemons that is useful for rust removal is Citric Acid. Alternatively another great oxide remover is Viniger (5% Acetic Acid) combined with a little Salt (Sodium Chloride.) It reacts to make a weak Hydrochloric acid solution that cleans Oxides quite well. At least in my experience with using it on copper it has.
Holy shit Meet the Feebles! I remember watching this as a kid and being fucked up after watching it. It still gives me anxiety just thinking what happened in that movie and thinking to myself whether or not the muppets had a a fucked up segment or something.

I think the reason for chapter 19 of THE CRYSTAL CAVE being worse than the other chapters Simon and Tom have found is because it has not yet been edited by Harris.
I would say it's also just a style shift to hammer home that what was happening was supposed to be disorienting for the character. The reader feels it more if it's disorienting for them too.
"Oh no! The Dining room is a dead end! It's not like I can escape the Woodcutter through a window (again)! I'd better hide in the basement!" Seriously, wtf? What kind of shit writing is that?
But she's already jumped out a window to escape him! On the second story! Furthermore, I would definitely be MORE likely to get out the window before he arrived than I would to phase through a solid wall in the basement before he arrived. Obviously, neither situation is ideal, but at least with the dining room you have a chance to get out. And you're running AWAY from him to get into the dining room door rather than toward him to get to the basement door. There's really no logical reason why the basement would be a better escape route at all so it's just really awkward the way they force you in there. Especially since you already have reason to go there.
Sometimes it feels like this game is some sort of intervention by Simon to teach Tom how to read proper.
He should just send him to "The Sips Foundation for Kids who can't read good and Stuff".

Would you be able to climb out a window faster then the woodcutter can take a couple of steps? Plus the character has a broken arm so she is hindered
