I'm curious on your opinion on how Gammamon is in the format, I recently won 1st place at locals playing against blackwargreymon, digipolice, devas and Levia (final match) and I've had continued success since (2nd place twice). I want to know what you guys think about my fav deck!
39:40 on Protoform order As long as the cards you remove with greymon arnt the card you are trying to save with protoform you can indeed order it that way. But its also important to note that Proto is a *mandatory* effect meaning even if you save yourself with GreyX you must still remove protoform and whatever card you want from their sources.
also note if you are forcing blackbase you will not have the x antibody option to protect your stack for the greymon x eff/agu x eff since it will already be removed from protoforms own eff.
Mugendramon. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. The deck has 0 in-archetype ways to cheat out the tamer it needs. If only bt11 Mugen played out Analman instead of adding him to hand.
I mean I've never seen a bad match up against sec con as deva you just play two fives and swing every time you hatch they run out of hand space and waste cards on basically nothing. but yea it takes a while.
It depends whether they draw Avenge kidmon or not. If they do then Devas loses on the spot. Avenge+Lament means Devas can never deck out Sec-Con and Sec-Con will grind Devas down until they deck out instead. Unless 1 side bricks neither deck can kill each other so it's just a matter of who last longer and once all 4 fanglong are dead Deva can no longer refill their deck. It's one of my most hated MUs in the game because it's completely out of the control of the players. Either you never see Avengekid and you lose(unlikely since you can check sec with other cards to pull him out) or you do see Avengekidmon and you wish the Deva player would concede so you don't have to spend 50min "going through the motions" in a 95-5 MU at that point.
@@damiancarr168 I mean idk I’ve never had a problem with killing the sec con play it just takes a while, but this just goes as another reason sec con shouldn’t be in the game.
@@masterlinktm decent list but only a 6 round regional where he got a bye and played into his best matchup (nume) 3 times. Fair play to him but I don’t consider a tournament result that’s barely better than a large locals worth much in the grand scheme of things. Gallant tier 2
I think someone needs to have complete mastery of the deck and perfect build to play jesmon into this meta. your key gimmick being “play digimon by effects” is also a huge negative right now with Levia being the most popular deck

So you can’t order it to use limited Greymon x protection before protoform?

lol, this exact matchup happened next to me at locals last week. Game 1 was 45 min 😂
