Interesting point about why not to choke up. I’m in a constant dance finding the right hammer for the job and my strength. I choke up because the hammer gets too heavy for me to handle. But using a lighter hammer doesn’t move the metal. I’ve been wondering whether I should buy a few hammers that work for me rather than relying on the shared tools at our metal shop. Thoughts?
