Ziggy Marley- 'World Revolution'- “Madness on the Common”; Clapham Common-Aug.26,2019 Mon.

Comment: For some unexplainable reason the original comment that I published in this song and the Jimmy Cliff video, completely disappeared when I was looking at this again. It had been up for weeks but I have no clue how or why it’s not here, so… here we go again.
Madness always throws a party when they host and headline an outdoor festival and this year was top choice.
With acts such as Horace Andy before, and Jimmy Cliff after, Ziggy Marley took to the main stage on a hot summer day to a now relaxed crowd in Sourh London to deliver the goods.
The audience were up for it and didn’t need to be warmed up or convinced; this was a class act that they immediately got and if you didn’t know any better, were there to see him.
Ziggy Marley is the oldest son of Bob Marley and has had a long and extensive career. He has definitely not rested on his dad’s legacy having made 8 great LPs with his original group, ‘The Melody Makers’ from debut, ‘Children Playing’(1979) to the 8th and last, ‘Spirit of Music’.(1999).
Since then he has made 8 superior solo albums from debut, ‘Dragonfly’(2003) to his 8th and most recent, ‘More Family Time’(2020).
No one has a bad word to say about Ziggy. To put it lightly, he is an incredible humanitarian who has done endless acts of every kind activities you can imagine that are impossible to list here.
He has worked, physically and musically,…with everyone.
He is a kind soul and an extremely hard working warm person who would bend over backwards to help a stranger.
His music has it all; also, whether it be political, playful, rebellious, uplifting; it strikes the right balance of nuance that is neither pious nor just plain naughty; it’s just pure joy.
To put it lightly, to the uninitiated, his dads legacy doesn’t help because in many ways, he has done much more and he would be more famous and popular if he didn’t involuntarily fall under his shadow.
