I've never thought of the PC-24 as a particularly "hot" airplane, but that climb was mighty! And you had to throttle WAY back to keep her from blasting through MMO. Very impressive. Thanks for all the excellent panel shots.

Love that plane and it's short field performance is amazing. 12 sec from roll to rotate(take off) is insane and she climbs hard from there. Only thing it needs is better range. Would be perfect if it could make Hawaii from the west coast but that's asking alot for a plane of it's type.

Superb piloting sir, and the panoramic view of the Las Vegas skyline at dusk, as you swooped down that glide slide into Macarran RW 12L, was well worth the wait. The Pilatus, with its STOL capability on grass or unpaved runways, does occupy a rarefied class of its own as the worlds ONLY off-road capable executive jet.
The aircraft is so easy on the eyes as well, and being of Swiss precision design, this is one airplane that has already become a gold standard in its own right. For all who have the means, this bird is a must-have addition to the hangar, and I won't be surprised to learn that John Travolta or Harrison Ford have acquired a Pilatus-24, or are about to do so. One imagines the Sinaloa Cartel's pilots would be delighted to get their hands on a few of these jungle-airstrip friendly sleek jets, but they will of course be declined by the Pilatus sales department, with extreme prejudice ha ha.

Perfect for Australian conditions and lots of short runways! I agree with the speed, if only Pilatus could get it up to Phenom 300 cruise speeds, it would the the perfect small business jet! Lowly RV-12 E-LSA pilot, happy with 1000 ft / min climb, and 30# / hr fuel burn. LOL!... but..... my Dynon EFIS has that cool ADS-B In feature of weather at any airport I select, and the simple Garmin GTR200 radio will accept the radio frequencies from the airport of my choice for ATIS, Tower, Ground, etc. Technology has trickled down all the way to amateur builds with Garmin and Dynon and other brands of EFIS for instrument panels. Handy stuff indeed, even if I can only fly restricted VFR on a Sport pilot license. Very cool demonstrations of the features of that Pilatus. I don't think I could mentally keep ahead of that plane with how fast it climbs and travels. Thanks for a fantastic video, always, always learning!

What is the landmark or mountain Tommy is commenting on in the video that 3 aircraft have crashed into ? I want to plan a cross country IFR flight into KVGT from KMYF and want to make note of this!

Once airborne . . . coordination thru Air Control, so no crashes into hillsides, or, collisions with other aircraft ! 😎 🇺🇸

As an airline captain, it definitely surprised me when the A/T went into an exceedence. And gear had to taken at 250 for dragging. Also the traffic advisories.
But overall very entertaining. Good job especially single pilot workload
