    Thanks for the video I will be doing this repair soon but on the 14 plus, I've done a few back glass replacement but never on a newer phone like this. Seems kinda tedious to remove the magsafe magnets and put them back together.

      I would say it's just time consuming. With the sharp blade they all will be removed. Some can get broken in half but that's won interfere much when putting it back together. You should be good since you've done it previously the big concept is the same 👍🏽.

    Can I put aftermarket wireless charging and flashlight? Will it say in the settings that there is a fake part?

    • @ersbit

      I had done it with my iPhone 15 . it worked no problem but that was in during the time of ios17. With the part pairing being added now to the newest version of ios i dont have a firm answer like yes it will work fine or no that will be an issue. In the past that was not a problem (iPhone 15 and 14 Back glass circuit are the same and even interchangeable).

    Hi,, I lost one off the small magnets around the wireless charging coil when taking it off,, will it cause any problem,, thanks

    • @ersbit

      No having a few magnet not present will just decrease the attraction towards the other Magsafe accessories but it should still latch properly without sliding.

    What if I never use wireless charging. Do I have to switch it to the new glass back?

    • @ersbit

      Apple is crazy 😅. If you don't have the wireless circuit you will have hardware incomplete issues. IOS run test to the whole device to see if there's everything if not you will have random crashes before or after you did ios software update. For example, I came to know this because there is a small sensor beside the wireless charging coil that was bad on my 15 the cable was damaged right before that sensor( looks like a battery temp sensor). When they released ios17.1.2 I had the device randomly crashing all day 5 minutes apart. While using the phone it would crash and reboot sooner than 5mn.
      That's the experience I had and why I am suggesting to put the wireless circuit and all back connected to the motherboard even if you do not use it just to avoid having a similar problem rendering the device useless due to extremely frequent crash then reboot every 5 minutes.

    if you heat the bottom of the frame enough you can take apart the whole wireless charging part with the magnets still attached. saves you having to superglue it later.
    Also before you open the iPhone 14 back glass you should remove the bottom Penta lobe screws so that the glass can come off easily.

    hello instead of removing the back panel all the way can i just break all pieces and attach new one instead of removing everything

    • @ersbit

      I think I understand what you mean. Skim through this video to confirm what you are saying th-cam.com/video/oCbZGEOQ9dY/w-d-xo.html the issue with this is that it gets too long for no benefits then you risk to damage the wireless charging circuit and also will have lot of small glasses everywhere. Attaching the metal plate this way is not also 100% glued the same as getting a new back glass with metal plate pre-installed with camera lenses. The way I showed in this video is the easiest. The video on the iPhone 15 is more involved and harder on my opinion.

      @@ersbit okay thank. you for advice and helpful suggestions i will attempt to use your method instead of breaking all the glass i just worried because my replacement doesnt have metal plate i have to transfer

    • @ersbit

      @playboyant I would suggest you buy a back glass with pre-installed metal (mine was from eBay) the glass only method add more work lol the price difference also is not worth your time (maybe less than $10 difference).
      You're welcome 👋🏽. Hope you get it done 👍🏽

    • @ersbit

      You can choose to remove the screws or not remove them. You had me confused. I did the same with the iPhone 15 Pro (the video is on the channel) You do not have to remove the screws for the back glass. You have to remove them for the screen of the device. So you are technically wrong since it is not necessary to remove the screws in order to replace the back glass. This was one of my question when the iPhone 15 Pro was released and I tested myself you do not have to remove them. The iPhone 14 back design is the same as the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro !!

      you never removed the screws at the bottom first your supposed to support the case once opened and not pry the right side or you could damage the wires killing the phone . you are not careful

    • @ersbit

      @robertbutler7745 you guys assumes stuff which are wrong. I have an engineering background everything I do follows a process and the thing I don't want is to damage something (#1). The thing about the screws is not correct I tested on the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro when it came out. There's no need to remove the screws for the back glass removal or replacement. Then the other stuff you mentioned is not true as I opened the device then said in the video to be careful on the right side as you have 1 cable for wireless charging. You may think I should go more carefully than this but I am extremely careful and whenever I damage something I make sure to tell the viewers so that they don't do the same thing!

      @robertbutler7745 that's exactly my point. You do not know that the 15 is the same design as the 14. The 14 was created first then the same designs was used for the 15. Same process for all repairs aspects!
