      Can you guys shed some light on how the west force Africa to take it’s ole boop-inna . Africa and Africans can make wear their own clothing , the old clothes from American is ruining Africa’s economy. Maybe bald head and the dread can research and tackle this topic. Do it justice, if you choose to do it. Know what you are talking about. I love when you are well versed on the topic you speak on. Keep up the good works. Your work is important.

    Black people need to stop supporting the movie industry if they want to see changes. The savior need to eat, and make money on their victims. We need to change our mindset about what a savior is suppose to save us from. Black people only think about being saved from a place called Hell. When actually they are living in Hell now And our savior need to show up and bring justice for all the people suffering from the so called Devil.

  • @Nkosi766
    @Nkosi766 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    The savior complex is from Alexander the Great, savior of the world, Ptolemy was soter. The Roman adapted it. In the 1st century the son of god and savor of the world was none other than Augustus Caesar, who brought peace to the world ( Pax Romana) . Who’s father was ascended to heaven to rule as a god ( Julius Caesar) . Jesus Christ is Julius Caesar. He’s all the mythology of the Roman world, made into one world religion. So yes white saviorism is Christianity. Rome the cross. A symbol of death to all who defies Rome. Christianity is a death cult. Duppy story . And we Africans love a good duppy story. Anything after a man is dead is duppy story, Holy Ghost Batman!

    I grew up in an inner city and most of my friends were poor black and Hispanic kids. My family was middle class and so knowing we had the ability to help at times like Christmas, my mom would take us on Christmas Eve to anonymously leave presents at their door and such. For her, it was helping those in need and teaching her kids good values/morals. When I got into high school, my friend was telling me they were too poor to have Christmas. Having met her adorable 3 year old baby sister and being good friends with her, I bought her little sister toys so at least SHE could have a Christmas. That friend ended up being mean and racist towards me on a regular basis and when I asked her why she was so mean to me despite me going out of my way to show I care about her and her family, she called me a “white savior” and that was the end of that.
    Smh. “White savior psychology”. People have so much hate and resentment in their hearts. They’ll never be free.

      I don't think you are understanding what he meant when he said white saviour complex. He isn't talking about showing others charity he's talking about exerting ones culture, beliefs and value system on others thinking your way of thinking is morally superior to others, that you need to go around and teach people how to be civilized. White saviour complex is treating people like infants talking down to them thinking other can't think for themselves so you need to jump in and think for them. That's what he meant he isn't talking about giving people stuff as charity.

    • @Nkosi766
      @Nkosi766 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you say hate ? Why don’t you see the trauma? We didn’t you look deeper into why or what she had to say? All you see is the hate . Do a deep study of the effects of European charity in Africa, how does the Africans feel about your missionaries? Pat Robertson own a gold mine in Africa , yet come to Africa went food for the poor. White saviorism has more to do with you , than with helping the poor. Gave you a good feeling, didn’t it ? Did you even think about how the mother feels? Hell know you didn’t? Charity is always handy down. Solidarity is we in this together. Look into yourself, and tell your liberal friends what you found, if you find anything. And tell them to stop focusing Africa to take their old clothes, Africans can make their own damn clothes to wore out. You’re hurting our progress.
      And remember, give a man a fish he eats for a day.
      How you expect the lady to feel, you always doing shit she can’t do for her own kids,? She was supposed to bow down and worship you, tell all your blk friends about the great white hope. You were sadly disappointed weren’t you? I remember when I used to make my own toys, great memories.

      You might not have been a white saviour, your friend's criticism might also have been misplaced. But you seem to have failed to understand the point of this video.
      How can you forgive and forget when the perpetrator still got his boot on your neck?

    • @the_relative_
      @the_relative_ ปีที่แล้ว +5

      This comment is just here to put forward a knowing ignorant statement with no intention on understanding anything..
      Nothing in the video says anything about not accepting support from potential allies
      It’s about not falling into a system of simply waiting for support or going with colonial world government trends that have proven to be destructive and inhuman.

      I put it to you that emancipation was not our freedom as during the post emancipation era we continued to live under a dictatorship in an oppressed apartheid-like state… let us not forget that Jamaica existed as a plantation society right up until 1962.. so I say that independence is our freedom, but we must decide what we will do with it… i have no doubt in my mind that it is the shadow of our former colonial masters that continues to hang over us that keeps us retarded as a society… independence is our freedom

    He is totally wrong about Ghana independence and what it means but I agree with some aspect of his argument. But he should remember that liberation comes first before education and in our case, it is re-education. We are as a people have suffered and lost so much including our language, culture and our God. Our liberation struggle led by Nkrumah was a vehicle and not destination but a precursor for what is to come.
