The foundation is lovely, but it clings to everything that isn't smooth skin. If your skin is retinizing or textured, I don't suggest it. It won't lay better with extra moisturizing. In my experience, it only highlights said issues more.
Thank you for reviewing products for those of us with acne/textured skin. All these reviews with foundation looking the EXACT same because their skin is flawless.
Definitely the review I need. All the other reviewers have flawless skin and it’s not helping me to get my answer and you did so thank you. You still beautiful regardless.
Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ you go girl!!!🌻🌻🌻💖 People consider textured skin as unhygienic and gross and almost like a taboo... You give thousands of people out there like me with sensitive acne prone skin so much love, hope and positivity ❤❤❤❤❤
As a acne person for 4 years I’m really struggling with confidence and makeup kinda helps me. Love what you’re doing ❤ you look gorgeous and keep going.
I have clear skin but I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. It looks great at first but then it will settle into fine lines and wrinkles, some days it will totally break apart on my nose and some days it seems like it completely comes off my face when I haven’t even touched it! Then other times it looks really beautiful but it gives me anxiety because I don’t know what it’s doing from moment to moment. I also have to use the It Cosmetics Bye Bye pores powder to keep it from settling in all the cracks. I only wear it for special occasions because it is not great as an all day wear foundation.
I have texture with acne prone skin and the other foundation from Laura is the only one e that makes my skin looks beautiful, so I imagine this one is even better. I love Laura Mercier products in my skin! You are very beautiful, love your comments!
Nothing will make textured skin look flawless. Theres no cream or powder to do that. Being realistic is the key. Textured skin is normal and should be celebrated!! Your a beautiful girl with no makeup!! ❤❤❤
I really like fenty beauty foundation when i get acne. But i dont think there’s a foundation that will act like paint, you have to use thick concealer underneath the foundation so it looks good
The trick that worked for me is a hydrating toner or mist. And then apply skin tint not foundation. Because foundation would me too much with acne atleast for me. I had bad cystic acne
In my opinion, it doesn’t matter what foundation you use. If you have acne, prone, skin, severe, acne, prone skin, it’s never going to look good I know because I had acne I could use high-end foundation or drugstore foundations, and they would always cling dry skin patches, or they were make my texture skin look horrible or it wouldn’t even cover my hyperpigmentation or my acne scars
foundation isn't gonna cover your texture but that doesn't mean all foundations will look horrible, I have a lot of foundations I absolutely love and look great!
omg, someone with skin like mine :OOO!!!! definetly going to check out more of your content, it's rare to find doneobe like us with acne probe textured skin!
I don’t get the hype, like okay it looks good but how is it actually better than the half of the foundations at Sephora? Seems like it’s just a new product with loads of PR
@A_folklore_nerd Shades DO matter! Every reviewer should always announce and put in the description their shade! It helps people find their match easier when they see a shade that matches perfectly to their skin.
You should try propolis on your face...it might help heal the scars. Bee pollen too. You need to change diet. Hydration of skin has to happen internally
Glamzilla skin is unrealistic. I have never seen wven younger ppl with that smooth skin, tbh, so her review doesn't give any perspective to how it would look on normal textured skin
I have severe acne too, girl #1 go get some meds to help control acne #2 try using a hydrating sheet mask before make up #3 powder foundations work best for textured skin
@@irumkhan3381 people with acne don’t want unsolicited advice about our skin because we know it the best! i have a full video on this on tiktok and instagram. It’s not rude, it’s just the reality of people with skin texture: constantly hearing “advice” no one asked for in the first place
Just how my skin looked until I was 31. I cut out dairy age 31 and never looked back. The only thing to give me permanent clear skin. Medication and expensive creams would work for a while then stop or cause allergies to kick in. I am full of gratitude that I found a way to overcome this painful and embarrassing condition. I used to have to redo my foundation up to 8 times a day because of the oil. When I cut out dairy for one day I looked in the mirror and saw a change in oil. No new spots and within 2 weeks the existing ones had gone and hyperpigmentation wasn’t long in following. I’m passionate about this. If you haven’t tried it and anyone reading, your skin bothers you like mine did then I urge you to try. Cut out all dairy to make it a proper experiment. After one year I also cut out meat which dramatically helped with signs of aging, and I found a cruelty free way of life which has brought me joy. But try the dairy free for acne. If you think cutting out dairy to clear acne is too much of a sacrifice then your skin mustn’t bother you that much.
Omg this is exactly the same as me! I'm 35 and drank milk with tea for a few days because I ran out of soya milk and my skin started breaking out again! The nauseas sick feeling came back again too lol. My health and skin is sooo much better without dairy for sure.
Girl, please stop.uaing make-up. Your acnes are cleary flaring The only make-up you should wear are for the eyebrows, eyelashes, and lips. No make-up on you facial skin until your skin returns to normal.
Pretty girl but you must treat the Acne. Pure *Aloe vera*... Apparently really helps. There is also an excellent product by ALDI.. but I cannot remember the name of it at the moment. I shall try to locate the information. How much are these Laura Mercier foundations usually??

That's retinol peeling. If you've got spots without rough edges, possibly work
Now THIS is a makeup review I can take seriously! ❤

Try Bobbi Brown. I have acne scars and only used MAC for years. For the first time in 22 years I switched to Bobbi Brown and I am not regretting it!

You must try the revolution liquid foundation!!! U get such a high coverage with a glow.. And it feels lightweight!!!
What’s your shade ?
If you haven’t, the REM beauty foundation. My skin is as dry as the Sahara, and it makes my skin look so glowy and smooth
I have a review of it on my page! not the best for me but not the worst!
People with acne; try these

Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate

It’s not abt the shade it’s abt the actual product it self or maybe she forgot idk

You should use tretinoin 0.1% ask your dermatologist, must you must wear sunscreen when you go outside SPF 30 or higher every two hours.

I don't think this is the right application technique for dry acne skin
You have to prep your skin before you put on any foundation.
always do!

Use rice water for toning your skin.
I promise it will help you babes, it has done wonders for me
