I bought this today.. I’m 40, brown skin tone, I have consistently dry skin because of where I live, I decided to give up on matte foundations. I went to Sephora and asked for a good medium coverage, dewy, lightweight foundation and this is what the rep recommended. I tried it on and loved the result. She said it’s buildable..It was unbelievably light and dewy, not drying and cakey at all. I’d rather my skin look a bit greasy that I know I can bloat than have dry and cakey face. This one immediately brightened my face and I loved it.
i always love how in depth you go with your videos!! this would never be on my list as a oily girly initially but after watching it feels like it would definitely be on my list to try because it looks sooo pretty and the tones look so good !!
If you can find a good shade, it would be worth trying a sample! The oiliness could be a turn off for some people - but powder should do the trick. I wore this during a full day of winter activities and it didn’t transfer on my scarf or anything. 😱
I agree, the grease, the price and shade range is definitely a con but this is everything I needed in a review of this foundation. Your honest opinion and thorough analysis of the feel, look, and longevity is so appreciated. So glad to find you in my recommended; new sub 😌
i love your review videos your genuinaly one of the only infulencers i trust with products! and i love how u included that the shade range is very disappointing for medium/dark skintones, bc even if it matched u, doesnt mean that the shade range is equal for everyone (which i feel like a LOT of influencers rave abt products and dont mention that the shade range sucks!)
I also bought this I don’t think it’s a must have but I just like 2 days again bought the revolution skin silk serum foundation at Ulta while shopping and I think it’s very reminiscent. For a cheaper price tag of $14 ❤ loved this video. I think it’s worth the price tag if you’ll reach for it everyday 😊
Like someone else has said on here, I started feeling sucked into getting this. But, I cannot abide oily stuff on my face. So, no to this one. Thank you for your honest review.
Found your video very helpful, thank you ☺️ I had bought the wrong shade and can’t return it since it’s past the 60 day mark now. I had bought chestnut since Sephora recommended it with their shade finder option/: Also, the price has gone up to $71 😮
have you tried any nars foundation? what's your favourite and what is your shade? we have the same oily, textured and acne prone skin type, Twins :) also I love your videos so much, you are my top makeup youtuber and I hope you get more recognition here because the quality of your content is top notch. I literally trust your recommendations whole heartedly
I use to love the Nars longwear radiant foundation but there are so many better ones now! I also tried the light reflecting foundation but thought it was okay. In general I have a hard time finding my shade in Nars so it’s not a fave. 🙃 But thank to you so much for the love and support! Your comments, views and like will help me grow. Sending all my love to you 🫶
I’m so sad about this foundation. It is SO oily, even after putting powder over it. I don’t have oily skin. I wish they wouldn’t have discontinued the long wear. It’s going back! Now what am I going to do? Ughhhhhhhh
I’ve tried with the e.l.f power grip and milk hydro and get the same results! The texture of the foundation is simply oily, but I enjoy it anyways. Is there a primer you tried it with and you’ve had different results?
Not worth the purchase. Though, being weightless i believe it should at least look like you are actually wearing make up. A big No for me!! Unless you apply a huge very very huge amount on your skin!!

Yesss, it still shocks me to see brands making the same mistakes. 😅 More shades would only mean more customers for a viral product.
Thank you for showing under all the different lighting what a difference vanity lighting makes 😳
Such a major difference 😅
Great review! Love the honesty

Hey love! Thanks for the Revolution suggestion. I think it's really helpful for those who want a cheaper option with similar performance. 💞
Really good video and thank you for not using filters snd showing your real skin ❤
Someone mentioned somewhere that silicone based primer goes very well under this foundation

Happy to help. ♥️🫶
Appreciated your honesty 😊

I’m happy I could help! But $71 is insane 😭
love you girl! ❤

I trust this review! ❤
I got you ☺️
You are so pretty love when you do feedback videos ❤
Yay!! Thanks for being so sweet. I’m working on posting and improving them throughout the year. ☺️💗
You are now my go to for foundation reviews! 💕 Also I LOVE your earrings, where are they from?
Urban Outfitters! 🥰

I know 😭 did you try absorbing the oil with a sponge before adding powder? Overall that improved the texture for me.
I bought this and i didn’t like it at all, its so oily and my pores are so visible after using this, wasting my money 😢
How is there only six comments now seven
Appreciate you commenting 🥰♥️
I think if you used a water based primer rather than your spf it would help with the oilyness. Your spf looks greasy imo

Do you have any favourite foundation for an oily skin?
Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless 🥰

I feel you! It has its pros and cons. The price is a bit much and if you layer too much I think it would be too oily 🥴 But it truly is no transfer!!
I hate this product and I’m loyal to this brand but this one is a fail
