Hello I am currently restoring a RoboWar but it has quite some damage on the playfield art would it be possible to take some photos fairly flat on and close up of parts of the playfield? this would be extremely helpful and I would love to get another one of these back in the wild!
Hi Marcus, Sorry but I don't have the machine anymore it's made way for a TX-Sector at the moment. I did take a bunch of pictures for the video and can send on what I've got if you like - if you give me an email address or user name on Pinside/Pinballinfo. I'll get in touch. Would be a great machine on site/out in the wild.
@@pinballreviews1363 Do you like TX-Sector more? Heard a lot people saying robo war has better (deeper) ruleset and the fun lasts much longer on this machine. Waht do you think?
@@bsth_pinball6043 Both are great and little to choose between them; I prefer the sound/theme/toys on TX Sector, but layout & play of Robo-wars because - lots of multiball. Neither seemed deep though (no wizard modes I don't think) and I managed to get Special/complete robo-wars letter in the first night of playing either. I'd say RoboWars is more replayable so if I was only allowed to play one, I'd pick RoboWars, if more than one, TX-Sector because of the music :)
@@pinballreviews1363 Thanks a lot........today I collect my robo war in nice condition;-) Keep on the great work. Watched your robo war and Tx videos a thousand times, because I couldnt decide. Downloaded an played them on visual pinball (tx also on pinball arcade). and there I had also the feeling that robowars is more challenging. But jesus it was a really hard decision because I like the theme and music on tx more too. But I like the soundeffects on robo war more........this bass effect on the left outside standup target is terriffic!!!
